Day 43 - 49 My beauty has a problem :(. This my first growing with coco and showing my neophyte skills... Everything was going fine until I realized my lady starting have some potassium issues. So, I increased the fertilizers to provide more potassium. Additionally, I also wanted to check the run-off water. I have never done that because I thought I was doing a good job. After checking the run-off water, I realized that I screwed up :) I am sharing the data of the irrigation water: pH: 6.06 EC: 875 mS/cm And now please look at the run-off water data: pH: 5.16 EC: 7750 mS/cm Yes you read it right, and I am sure the EC and pH is literally f****d! So, there is no deficiency on the plant. She is literally drowning and there is huge nutrient lock problem... Yesterday (28/08/2024), I flushed her with 8L of water and ~6 pH. Today, I watered her with fertilizer like as always, then checked again the run-off water and NOTHING has changed... So, I will do a couple of more flushing, I hope I will manage to fix the problem but if the situation continues like that, it won't end up nice... I am open every kind of suggestions fellas.

Day 69 (March 6th) Just gave everyone their last watering. I’m going to harvest and wash everything tomorrow night on day 70. I‘m not going to do that whole 48 hours of darkness thing because I didn’t see a difference last time I did it. In fact, it made my plant under watered before drying which caused it to dry too fast. Slurricane and cheese will be washed with h2o2 and the rest will just be rinsed off in warm RO water and hung up. Before and after washing I’m going to go over each branch with a flashlight and make sure there is no dog hair or debris in or on the buds. I will be drying in my spare bathroom (that no one uses!) from hangers. Aiming to keep it around 60-62F and 50-60 RH. Hoping for that 10-12 day dry. I wanted to do a full plant hang but the tent got pretty dirty and I would feel more comfortable just cutting and rinsing everything off branch by branch. I’m going to try my best to keep the full plant intact. Got my humidifier hooked up and running RO water because with tap water it deposits calcium and lime all over the buds and walls. For air flow I’m just indirectly running a small usb fan. I’m not worried about air flow in the bathroom honestly. It stays nice and breezy down there anyway. Got the food grade peroxide and RO water to wash up the slurricane and cheese. Everything except for the cheese and garlic#1 is looking more than done. Trichomes all look pretty well done. Some of them have even burst open. Smells are all super ripe and mature too. Can’t wait to smell each individually in jars. Next week I will recap what went wrong and what I will do differently next time to keep it from happening again. (Day 70F) Just got everything chopped, washed and hanging. The vast majority of the PM was washed out but I can still see very small amounts. When they dry out I can shake the branches a bit to get the rest off. At very least it’s sterile now. There is no question I lost some potency while washing but the amount is negligible for a much cleaner product. I could see lots of dirt and other debris float to the surface of the water after being washed. And no those are not trichomes, those sink to the bottom. I could put that nasty water through a bubble bag and wouldn’t get all that much. Although it probably does remove a lot of the actual trichomes heads. I’ll have to check with the microscope. Everything is rigged up for a nice slow dry. Temp is sitting at 64 and RH is at a nice 60%.

🌸 Lava Cake – Week 7 (3rd Week Flower) | Blossoms Rising The third week of flower has arrived, and our Lava Cakes are stepping fully into bloom. Both girls are looking beautiful, symmetrical, and strong, with thick white pistils reaching out and leaves still praying to the light. Their similarity in structure makes this run feel almost like growing twins, each reflecting the same genetics, each glowing with energy. ⸻ 🔙 Looking Back – The Road Here From seeds sprouting in soft cups → to vigorous veg under Future of Grow and ThinkGrow LEDs → to the careful transplant and expansion in the 8x8 ecosystem, every stage has been about setting a solid foundation. • Feeding: Aptus core line + Plagron boosters • Training: Gentle guiding, letting them branch freely • Environment: Tuned by the TrolMaster brain, with sensors guiding irrigation and VPD All of this has brought us here: lush plants in early bloom, no signs of stress, and a canopy built for flower stacking. ⸻ 🍽️ Current Recipe – Staying Steady This week, we keep the same feed — consistency is key as the flowers set. Per L Water: • Aptus Regulator – 0.15 ml • Aptus CalMag Boost – 0.25 ml • Aptus Top Booster – 0.5 ml • Plagron Power Buds – 1 ml • Plagron Sugar Royal – 1 ml • Plagron Green Sensation – 1 ml With the Aptus All-in-One Liquid still paused, the soil’s embedded nutrition + pellets are helping balance things out while these bloom boosters do the heavy lifting. ⸻ 🌡️ Room & Rhythm • Temps: ~31–34°C (still awaiting the AC unit for stabilization) • Humidity: ~60%, bringing VPD near 1.9 kPa • Watering: Daily — plants are drinking heavily, irrigated once substrate moisture falls near 19–20% • Monitoring: TrolMaster WCS substrate sensor + Tent-X keep us informed on EC, moisture, and temps directly in-soil Even with warm conditions, the Lava Cakes are thriving, drinking more, praying more, and pushing out flowers with confidence. ⸻ 🌸 Week 3 Flower – What We See • White Hairs: Thick, long, and vibrant, covering the tops like cotton clouds. • Flower Formation: Calyxes stacking, pistils reaching — no signs of hesitation. • Leaf Posture: Still upright, showing photosynthesis and metabolism are strong. • Uniformity: Both plants showing the same pace and morphology, a sign of stable genetics and consistent environment. ⸻ 🔮 Looking Ahead – What to Expect / Not to Expect ✅ Expect: • Rapid stacking in the next 2 weeks — buds will start to swell noticeably. • Aroma development — sweet Lava Cake terpenes may start teasing the air soon. • Nutrient demands rising steadily as flowers form. ❌ Not to expect: • Big trichome coverage just yet — resin production typically comes later. • A slowdown — stretch is nearly over, but flower development is just beginning. ⸻ ✨ Closing Thoughts The Lava Cakes are shining this week. Both are aligned in their growth, both are drinking and feeding with rhythm, and both are showing that the careful setup, from lights to irrigation to sensors, is paying off. Week 3 of flower is a promise — not yet the harvest, but the first real glimpse of what’s coming. Thick pistils today, heavy buds tomorrow. With consistency in feeding, environment, and care, these girls are well on their way to becoming the stars of the room. 📲 Don’t forget to Subscribe and follow me on Instagram and YouTube @DogDoctorOfficial for exclusive content, real-time updates, and behind-the-scenes magic. Apolo F1 Mission Diary - Week 2: The Rise of the Green Titan Greetings, fellow growers and botanical enthusiasts! Our Apolo F1 has sprouted into a verdant marvel, standing tall and proud, like a green titan rising from the soil. Join me in this second-week report as we explore the wonders of growth, the magic of transplantation, and the botanical symphony of nutrients. This week marked a significant milestone – the grand migration to an 11L fabric pot, generously provided by the good folks at Royal Queen Seeds. Now, let's talk fabric pots and why they're the VIP treatment for our plant's roots. Fabric pots, oh, they're like the five-star hotels for roots! Unlike their traditional counterparts, fabric pots offer superior aeration. The porous fabric breathes, preventing the soil from becoming waterlogged and ensuring oxygen reaches every nook and cranny of our Apolo F1's root system. It's like giving our plant a breath of fresh air, quite literally. But the benefits don't end there – fabric pots also prevent roots from circling the container, promoting a more extensive and fibrous root system. This, my friends, translates to a happier, healthier plant with increased nutrient uptake and overall vigor. It's like our Apolo F1 is getting a botanical spa day every day! Now, let's dive into the alchemical mix that accompanied this transplantation – my special Aptus Holland super soil blend. Picture this as the magic potion for plant prosperity. First in the concoction is Micromix Soil, a blend of microorganisms and stimulants that's like a botanical feast. These microorganisms act as the unsung heroes of the soil, enhancing nutrient availability and fostering a symbiotic relationship with our green companion. Next up, enter the Substrate Buffer Powder – the pH conditioner extraordinaire. Unstable pH conditions begone! This powder, featuring micronized calcium, acts as the stabilizing force, ensuring our plant enjoys a balanced pH banquet. And let's not forget the All-in-One Pellet – the time-released 100% organic pellet fertilizer. Packed with a compounded NPK fertilizer, magnesium, sulfur, and organically chelated microelements, it's like a gourmet meal for our Apolo F1. The L-amino acids are the chef's kiss, enhancing nutrient absorption and overall plant health. During the transplantation spectacle, I introduced Mycor Mix once again. This blend of endomycorrhizae, fixed on a vegetal carrier, is like the entourage for our Apolo F1, feeding and protecting the fungi that, in turn, support our plant's growth. It's the ultimate teamwork, a botanical Avengers assembling to ensure our green hero thrives. And the best part? Our Apolo F1 is reacting with sheer botanical enthusiasm, reaching for the stars and soaking in the nutrients like a plant on a mission. Before I conclude this week's report, a heartfelt shoutout to Royal Queen Seeds for the royal treatment in the form of fabric pots, to Aptus Holland for being the architects of this nutrient symphony, and to Grow Diaries for being the virtual arena where our horticultural tale unfolds. Stay tuned for the next chapter in our Apolo F1 Mission Diary – where we'll witness the continued ascent of our green titan. As always thank you all for stopping by and for supporting me on this journey, i am super passion about growing and fell blessed to have you all with me on this new journey <3 <3 <3 Genetics - RQS APOLLO F1 Ligth - LUMATEK ZEUS 465 COMPACT PRO

Thanks for stopping by! Harvest completed and buds drying in the rack. I'm very impressed with this plant and am very excited to smoke this girl! Will update in about 2 weeks with dry weight and smoke report. 08/30 dry weight of 105 grams. Round 2 was an improvement in weight, but the smell and taste are not present like they were in round 1.

Bertha is the weakest of my six plants. Final LST done day 36. Day 37: More of the same. Bertha's days are numbered. Day 39: I've just about had enough. This plant has been utterly disappointing. Day 40: Almost pulled her yesterday. However until or unless I desperately need the space I've decided to let her trundle along. I think <10g is the potential yield at this point. However I've been surprised before. In my first grow I had bare sticks that yielded 60 and 70g dry so who knows? Day 41: Slight smell. Smells good... Bertha has a reprieve. Day 42: End of the week for tiny Bertha she's fully flowering for sure but not much is happening. I might drop down to weekly updates for this lady, I am less and less interested in her. Looking back on this grow, I predicted in week 1 (day 7) that she would be stunted, so I do not know why I have allowed myself any anxiety around this grow. The only reason that I had some encouragement was because Karen recovered so well, but I did not damage Karen's roots on day 7... really of all the various mistakes in this grow, that was the one that was most impactful. With that said, I do think I was sent a runty little seed. Anyway, I am calm about Bertha now... she will do what she will do. My only slight irritation is that she is in a 40l pot and she would probably be fine in a 10l pot. I have space for 3 more big pots... I have two Auto Purple OG Punch germinating (fingers crossed), and they will get a pot each and the final pot will contain some new F1 seeds from Royal Queen Seeds. So Bertha is safe, I am already growing more plants than I planned to and I have to stop somewhere or I will end up with plants coming out of my ears.

“The Wock” 7 Weeks🤙🏾 Ladies are crushing its! I’ve for sure found 2 phenols I want to keep going based on structure and growth. The first was actually going to be a throw away. I didn’t like how lanky she was in her solocup stage. I instead topped her to slow down lateral grown and threw her in a 2 gallon bag to do her thing. She is now in a 7 gallon bag and has the best structure of them alll IMO. My 2nd pheno is a Tri-leaf mutation and it throws tops like no other! The perfect mother plant and is why I chose her as pheno #2. The 2 plants that were topped at the 5th node are bushing out more and more, just like it like it. There are 2 natural growing plants are doing great as well. They have nice bushing with one main cola. All plants will be defoliated 5 days before flip. The nose coming from these ladies is LOUD and I mean LOUD! Sour Candy and Burt Fuel! I’ll be taking cuts and flipping these ladies soon! Happy Growing PSGX Family! 🚀PSGX to the 🌕 #Phant0m

January 26 Gave the plants an increase dose of nutrients on the 25th and today I noticed the FS were getting a bit of burn on the tips so I flushed the soil with about 4 gallons of pH 7 water. They're looking better today. RB has a few crispy lower leaves, I think because it has less soil and dries out quicker. I'll probably have to water it daily. The SwCDLC didn't bat an eye at the increased nutrient level. Both SS's are growing ok. The 3 gallon SS is larger then my micro grow one for obvious reasons. Both of the larger plants showed sex a few days ago so I know they're female and the stretch is underway. Hopefully start getting a few small buds next week!

Well week 3 started on Monday, I'm late to the party, lol. Everything is going pretty decent so far. One surprise though...they have a smell. They didn't at this stage last time. Weird, lol. I gave them a slight trim and will be done with that until flowering. They seem very happy! ✌️❤️😁🍀🎶 EB

The tale of the Goddesses is ending. Through this grow, I have given tribute to matriarchs-my grandmother and my mother who have influenced who I am in this world. I’ve showcased their art, photographs, and their lifetimes. I shared our family history through old photos while also showcasing the art of Alphonse Mucha in the Art Neuveux style he created in the early 1900's. The femininity reflected in his art elevates women to Goddesses with their flowing hair and floral backgrounds. In the diary I indicated I wanted to be a healer in my younger years. I wasn't a medical professional by career choice, but I provide natural nontoxic solutions for cleaning and beauty products and have for my family and friends for over 25 years. Not only are the items healthy and clean, but they are also effective and save you money. And who doesn't want that? I added the song Woman by Iris Gold. Have a listen in you tube or amazon music. Shoot for the stars and may all your dreams come true. My cover for Harvest and Smoke report is Alphonse Mucha’s poster for Job cigarette papers. This is one of the most famous works in design history. Taking its cue from a new kind of female beauty, its modern girl has hair with a life of its own. The tendrils look more like the floating tentacles of a jellyfish. This is in vast contrast to the style of the times when women wore their hair tightly pulled up on their heads. For most people, though, the Job poster is less likely to be associated with belle époque Paris of early 1900’s, than the swinging 1960s. Its blissed-out smoker and trippy swirls made it an obvious choice for the bedroom walls of a later generation of freedom-seekers. In posters for perfume, beer, biscuits, bicycles, and Job Cigarettes (1896) he blurred the barrier between fine art and commercial art, between commerce and philosophy. The weekly diary covers I presented show Mucha’s style - organic and ornate, graceful and dynamic, with curving, swooping lines and Byzantine borders, lettering, and frames. The iconic 'Mucha woman' had curves, flowing hair, pastel robes, and often a halo of light or flowers. His women burst with life. I have mixed emotions about my grow and harvest. My results indicate I have a lot to learn. This was my 3rd grow and I still have problems with over feeding my auto girls. wh For all future grows I will reduce any synthetic fertilizer to 1/4 to 1/2 the recommended dosage. Overfeeding caused clawing and canoeing followed by nutrient lockout. While I was trying to correct this problem, flushing for 3 weeks to get out the excess fertilizers and salts, the girls were already overmature and past harvest. Checking trichomes at 10 weeks, there were few trichomes and didn't see much more until week 12. I checked with my phone camera at 10x magnification every other day. I saw lots of clear, then clear and milky, then all milky but never did I see any amber trichomes. The plants began to reveg based on the King Crown buds developing (see pics in week 15). The CBG may have degraded to CBN since I was 3-4 weeks late in harvest. If that is true, I don't mind since I need sleep medicine too. I lost Circe at the end due to aphid infestation. Ater several power washing with the hose on jet, we could not get the bugs off. So, I chopped her and into the trash she went. I did only minor defoliation near the end of the grow but neither plant was very leafy. For future grows, I will defoliate on a schedule, do some stress training maybe fimming, lollypopping, and defoiliating. Note to self: when buying seeds, look for more growing information on the strain such as when trichomes are expected and days to harvest. Knowledge is power. On the flip side, my happiness comes from the completion of a grow the harvest was 57 grams of smoke and 26 grams trim was not the highest yield but workable for what I need. As I indicated in the beginning, my plan, in addition to enjoying the smoke, is to put CBG in my health & beauty products. So, you don't have to wait for me to make mine, I've loaded a pain salve recipe above from Emily Kyle for a CBD or THC. The recipe shown makes 3/4 cup but can be doubled or halved. I'm, so excited I have decarbed my CBG trim and will use to make this formula while the buds are curing. I will also include some Lemon auto which is 17:17 CBD:THC to give it some other cannabinoids. I'll also put the recipe in the recipe diary. CBG will go in the coconut oil I use in my toothpaste ( recipe loaded in recipe file) If you follow me, check my recipe diary periodically as I will add new food and beauty recipes in future grows. For my readers and followers, I express my sincere gratitude for all the comments, likes and views and thank you for responding to my questions. I always hate having to pick one answer because they are all good. Just know that I learn from every one's answers. In closing, this Grow Diaries community is the best. With all the love and positive vibes I received, I got overwhelmed at times. As this was my medical grow, many of you sent me good vibes and prayers for continued healing. I feel your energy and it keeps my frequency up. I have enjoyed meeting and chatting with all of you. I'll be starting my next grow soon so follow along with that one too. Sending you love and good vibes 💚💫💫💚. Enjoy your smoke💨💨 Happy growing 🌱and have fun🎉
