Hi buddies, i'm very happy to welcome you to my new Dinafem's Cookies grow. In this grow I'm going to run 4 Dinafem seeds, 2x Ocean Grown Cookies (this diary) and 2x Blueberry Cookies. The seeds were provided by Dinafem itself, a thing that i want to thank a lot to Dinafem Team, specially to you Mark! 👊 ;). I will try to do my best 🙏. The first week was as expected, buried the seed on Sunday night in a small pot (i'm not sure if it's 0.3 l, but +/-), it be came to seedling on Wednesday afternoon and grown till Sunday as it should be... (AK Déjà vu). Rolling through week 2 of flowering. Everyone has been stretching like crazy :) . Glueberry , sweet creme , gg4 , tangie are mid week flowering 2. Ogesus 1,2 amensia haze 1,2 are mid week 4 some are flowering some are still vegging Rhino Ryder , royal haze and forgotten cookies about mid week 3 from seed . Everyone growing fast moving into the 4x8 in a few days can't wait :)

So far plain sailing, I raised the light as I was riding it a bit close and in a weeks time I will defoliate for the last time and remove any unwanted growth from the bottom.

Well between the gnats, and ph issues I think she came out great. Great smell. Frosty buds. Will upload a harvest video if it let's me. The P4000 light from Viparspectra worked great. This time I've decided to keep the scrog just a bit higher than the other times. The plants are growing fast and happy! 😀

I’m very happy with this strain and would highly recommend. The grow went well despite having some nutrient issues on my part off the bat, the plant over stretched and burnt the main cola on the light. But overall the plant ended up very large and beautiful. I’d guess i get 3+ ounces from this plant.

So week 8 was definitely a trying one. I was coming off of not only being behind on food from a couple weeks back, but also having a soil pH problem at same time. So I fed them a couple weeks back, found the pH issue and flushed with proper pH water. However, some of the damage and deficiency signs were still hanging around. I decided to give them each a top dressing of 6 tbsp's of 2-8-4 power bloom, in case I washed a lot out during the flush. At the same time, continuing to water at a lower pH of 6.0-6.5 to encourage my soil to go back to an optimal level. On the soil pH tester they are all sitting from 6.6-6.8 pH currently. Which was a lot better than the 7+ I found during the issue. These girls are growing big and are constantly hungry for water and nutrients. The amount of leaves on this strain was quite impressive. On that note, I had to do a lot of defoliation at the end of week 8. Hoping to encourage longer bigger colas and allowing light to penetrate to lower canopy. Plan is to keep watering when dry, adjust LST as the weeks go along, and defoliate where necessary. I do apologize to Dutch Passion, as I feel I've done them a disservice with my issues this time around. So if the result of this strain from me is sub par, it would not be the strain at this point. But I will continue to do my best to make a good result!👊 Happy growing! P.S. forgot I named them to track their health. Big Red, Stubby and Corona Virus. Big Red is largest but has red stems and leaf discoloration. Corona Virus is like Big Red but more leaf issues and Stubby is shortest one but by far healthiest so far.

So the bigger one I keep under watering it’s drinking a half gallon every two-3 days and I’ve never watered this much so I keep hesitating and wilting her other two are doing amazing switch nutes to the geoflora they didn’t respond well to the advanced nutes so we will see what happens one is actually flowering finally one is barley starting and the other hasn’t and it’s day 42 I’m kinda confused started silica on 1/4 so hopefully they like it they are looking good tho my canopy is staying level for the most part I’m happy with this grow so far

Mimosa is looking the pick of the bunch early on here , a bit of pre flower stank hit me when I was tying her down … verr nice . Transplanted her into her forever home and tied her down , looking to double size again the coming week

I switched nutes preemptively but we are back to veg(terp tea grow 711) for atleast one more week, maybe 2 to account for her stretching. 5/3/24 She’s stacking bud sites. She’s so much more squat than I thought. She’s like stiff and wants to just grow upright. I wanna grow this plant without training, I bet she would be beautiful.

Ginger Nut Cookies & Aussie Music Videos Week 16 Harvest 17 th April 2020 This Entire feminised seed making and growing project was a very good learning experience for me. Right from the very start, when I successfully got a Cutting ,taken from a Barneys Farm Red diesel female plant to produce feminised pollen after treating it with a silver thiosulfate solution. I then used it to pollinate a Fastbuds Girl scout cookies auto plant and let it grow to maturity. This only produced 3 viable seeds one of which is the subject of this Diary. I made up the name "Ginger nut cookies" after a variety of cookies we have here in Australia that are made with ginger. They are the same colour as the distinct red hairs on the red diesel buds. And would you believe those same vivid red hairs were passed on to this plant so I wasn't too far off the mark with the strain name. Her flavour however is nothing like red diesel or girl scout cookies and infact as taken on a smell and aroma all of it's own. She has a lovely tropical fruit like taste and the smell is a bit like fruit yoghurt. It has an unreal after taste on the exhale and the lingering second hand smoke smells very sweet and enticing. She has a pretty well balanced high too not as potent as the GSC nor as energenic as the red diesel but just a pleasant mix of the two. It was a very easy to grow and undemanding plant that didn't seem to require a lot of extra feeding other than the 100% organic nutrients that were within the soil and a few things like compost teas etc. The other element of this diary was of course the weekly Aussie music videos That I provided the links for and put up a little video clip preview of each Artists song.
