Harvest time, the flowers seem ready. The seeds were given as gifts and this was my first scrog. Given the high summer temperatures I thought I wouldn't even finish, I'm satisfied in the end. a couple of weeks to dry everything and then the fun begins.

2 choc mints are looking very nice thickening up nicely. Smell is unreal. Gorilla nugs are very white and full of trichs however not as dense as the choc mint. The choc mint buds are extremely dense i would be careful with temp and humidity as there is definitely potential for mould due to sheer size and denseness. 2 different phenos of choc mint both really nice but one has stretched slightly more and and has more crown buds.

Day 57 26/08/24 Monday Feed today using de-chlorinated tap water pH 6. No plagron products as noticed burning again. (I think I'll do a run using advanced. And Plagron. Just to see what's different. ) There all showing great progress!! Divine seeds - auto Overdose, the main bud is so compact and dominant it looks great! The rest are performing well, did a decent fanning of lower two fans that started to turn in colour. Apart from that left them to it ✌️💚 Day 59 28/08/24 Wednesday De-chlorinated tap water pH 6 only today, 400ml with little to no run off. Day. 61 30/08/24 Friday Another feed today using de-chlorinated tap water pH 6 with Plagron products. Picture and videos coming tonight 🤯👀✌️💚 Day 63 01/09/24 Sunday (End of week) De-chlorinated tap water pH 6 today with calmag. Notes on plant structures , bud structures, leaf density. - Auto critical orange punch - Xmas tree shape, main colar nice and thick. Side arms - doing with LST next time would provide more decent tops. Strong structure, big fans, but bud to leaf ratio is high! Compact ball shaped buds so far. - Orange Bud - she Climbs! Tall, Long structure, I would top this strain next time, with LST next time again she would provide alot more tops. She has an even leaf to bud ratio, but the buds look fire already and there only just forming! Getting hues of blue on calyxes. Taller buds. - Auto Melonade Runtz - Another Xmas tree shape, ideal for LST, main colar bud is impressive, she just wants to stack. Leaf to bud ratio is even again, bud the buds are forming tall, with pistils firing everywhere. - Auto Overdose Wow, compact short autoflower, with a powerful punch! She is dense!! Fanse are even, thick, and balanced. Leaf to bud, even. Bud formations - dense boulders already, like mini hedgehogs. I would definitely do a SOG with these 🤩

🌿 **Green-O-Matic Grow Week 9 Update: Nearing Harvest Time!** 🌱 Greetings, fellow growers! It's time for an exciting update on the progress of our Green-O-Matic journey as we reach Week 9 of the grow cycle. With anticipation building and buds swelling, let's dive into the latest developments: 🌟 **Bountiful Bud Development**: At Week 9, our Green-O-Matic beauties are truly showing their potential, with buds swelling and resin production kicking into high gear. The once-small flowers have transformed into dense, frosty nuggets, promising a bountiful harvest in the near future. Trichome production is in full swing, indicating peak cannabinoid potency and aromatic complexity. 📏 **Final Stretch of Growth**: As we enter the final stretch of the flowering phase, our focus shifts to maximizing bud development while ensuring optimal ripening conditions. With careful attention to environmental factors such as temperature, humidity, and airflow, we aim to create the perfect microclimate for our plants to thrive and reach their full potential. 🍃 **Leaf Senescence and Nutrient Management**: As expected in the late flowering stage, some leaves may begin to exhibit signs of senescence as the plant reallocates energy towards bud production. This natural process is perfectly normal and serves as a signal that the plant is nearing maturity. Meanwhile, our nutrient management strategy remains vigilant, providing the essential elements needed to support robust flowering without risking nutrient imbalances or deficiencies. 🔍 **Monitoring Trichome Maturity**: With harvest on the horizon, we're keeping a close eye on trichome development to determine the optimal time for harvest. Using a jeweler's loupe or digital microscope, we inspect trichomes for signs of maturity, aiming for a mix of cloudy and amber trichomes to achieve the desired balance of THC and CBD levels, as well as flavor and aroma profiles. 🌞 **Preparing for Harvest**: As we prepare for harvest day, our checklist includes gathering supplies such as trimming shears, drying racks, and storage containers, as well as ensuring a clean and sanitized workspace to maintain the integrity of our precious buds. Proper post-harvest care and curing techniques will be employed to preserve terpene profiles and enhance overall quality. In conclusion, Week 9 marks a pivotal moment in our Green-O-Matic grow journey, where patience and precision culminate in the imminent harvest of our prized buds. Stay tuned for the next update as we celebrate the culmination of months of dedicated cultivation with a bounty of premium-grade cannabis ready to be enjoyed and shared. Happy growing! 🌿✨ 🚫 **Addendum: Phenotype Bin Update** 🌱 In the spirit of transparency and continuous improvement, it's important to note that we've made the decision to bin one out of the three phenotypes due to poor development. Despite our best efforts and meticulous care, this particular phenotype failed to thrive and did not meet our quality standards. While it's always disappointing to part ways with a plant, this decision ensures that our resources and attention remain focused on nurturing the strongest and healthiest phenotypes to their fullest potential. By removing underperforming individuals, we can redirect our efforts towards optimizing the remaining plants for a successful harvest. Rest assured, this adjustment will not deter us from our commitment to excellence. We remain dedicated to the cultivation process, learning from each experience, and striving for the highest standards of quality and consistency in our cannabis cultivation journey. Thank you for your understanding and continued support as we navigate the complexities of plant development and refinement. Together, we'll continue to grow and evolve towards greater success in our cultivation endeavors. 🌿💪

DAY 66 Watering every 3 days.. 💧I always do 2L and stop when I see runoff. Now, I can smell fruit. 🍒 See the fat trichomes, this stinks, I can tell you. 😏 DAY 68 I checked trichomes, I actually didn't expect any plant to finish "in time", but this one has all cloudy trichomes! Huh! 😳 So I took a small bud to test smoke.. it's drying now. Smells like Coke, and like something sweet from my early childhood when I didn't have a memory. It's subliminal paradise. And then it smells like weed, really pungent, yeeeesssssssss!!! 💪 HOW CAN THIS PLANT ACTUALLY SMELL LIKE ACTUAL COKE??? It's an unmistakable coke fragrance! You know, I see myself in the future, just flinging some well-smelling flowers left&right over my shoulder instead of perfume.. 😋 Getting ready for harvest! Trying to dial their veg in. Nutes may be too old or too high. Changed with 4ml CaMg per gallon of RO water. The rest is MaxiGrow. Ever since adding rockwool to the grow, I have struggled. I don't have the dry back timed right yet. I moved my fan to dry the top of the pot surface instead of in the root zone or at the canopy height. After about 10 days I dumped out the rockwool and have replaced with hydroton. My initial though on using rockwool was to give the roots more space during late life stages. My experience has been with hydroton and I notice that the roots eventually get bound because the hydroton is a durable material and will not crush or compact. Rockwool on the other hand will compress when squeezed so I was hoping that in the late life stages the roots would compress the rockwool and make more room in the pots. The issue was dryback. If I used chunks instead of croutons, this may help but the other reason I used them was because I had them here already. If anyone is trying to slow their dryback down, they should consider adding 10% volume of croutons to hold moisture in the medium a bit longer. Notice anything different? They are starting to adapt to their new media. Hopefully by next week I can get them to perk up. One plant has looked better than the other three. I have no idea what these plants need to “perk up”. Possibly a different grower. If a grape terpine wasn’t in the end results I would have culled these long ago. Hopefully they perk up when we get to flower. 3 look ,,,, meh, the fourth is descent. Trimmed all four back down to 12” tall. Flower next week.

Well these girls are really starting to hulk out. Buds are really stacking and smelling very exotic. They have been pretty hungry. I hit 880 ppm in there tank early in the week but I have slacked off on nitrogen so no more Floralicious Plus and I lowered all my nutrients later in the week to 650ppm I will give them some more time to swell before I switch too Overdrive. This could be a pretty massive harvest. I have been getting alot of condensation in the grow room and its sending my humidity threw the roof. I have a humidifier and it bring it too 60-70% on full blast. I'm sure these girls can handle it. I do need to be careful and not touch the buds so I don't contaminate them. Lets hope I can avoid bud rot.

🌱 Germination Journey with Terpyz Mutant Mentha de Croco 🌱 Hey Grow Fam! Today kicks off an exciting adventure with Terpyz Mutant Mentha de Croco genetics. I’ve got 10 regular seeds ready to sprout, and I’m looking forward to discovering some beautiful female phenotypes—and maybe even a standout male for potential future breeding. It’s been a while since I’ve worked with regular seeds, so I’m thrilled to dive in! Germination Process Overview: Here’s a step-by-step rundown of the germination setup and process, with a special focus on the equipment and nutrients that are helping these seeds thrive right from the start. Step 1: TheCannaKan Germination Pod 🌱 For germination, I rely on TheCannaKan—a device I’ve come to love and trust. It’s designed to create the perfect microclimate for seed germination, and within just 24 hours, the seeds started showing signs of life. By the 32-hour mark, they were all ready to be transferred to the next stage! I can’t recommend this gadget enough for anyone serious about getting strong, early growth from their seeds. • Why TheCannaKan? • Humidity Control: Ensures seeds stay hydrated without oversaturation. • Stable Temperature: Maintains an even temperature around the seeds, so there’s no shock or stalling. • Enhanced Oxygenation: Keeps fresh air circulating, helping prevent mold and ensuring seeds don’t suffocate. Step 2: Transfer to Root Riots & Aptus Holland Supplements 💧 Once the seeds were sprouted, I transferred them into Root Riots, known for their excellent water retention and structure that encourages strong root growth. Root Riots also have a pH-balanced, spongy texture that makes it easy for roots to penetrate, promoting sturdy, healthy root systems. At this stage, I started using Aptus Holland’s Regulator and Startbooster at 1ml/L each. Here’s why I chose these products for early growth: • Aptus Regulator (1ml/L): Helps strengthen the plants against environmental stresses by supporting cell wall structure. It’s a fantastic choice for giving young seedlings an early boost in resilience. • Aptus Startbooster (1ml/L): This product provides essential microbes and nutrients that stimulate root growth and early plant vigor. Especially for regular seeds, the early root development makes a noticeable difference in later growth stages. Step 3: Lighting with Future of Grow (FOG) LED at 200 PPFD 💡 For lighting, I’m using a Future of Grow (FOG) 600W LED. For the germination stage, I’ve dimmed it to around 200 PPFD (photosynthetic photon flux density), which provides just enough light for healthy, strong seedling growth without overwhelming them. • Why Low Intensity? • 200 PPFD ensures that young plants aren’t exposed to too much light, which could cause stress or stunting. This level of intensity is perfect for encouraging healthy development without risking “stretching.” • The FOG LED provides a balanced spectrum tailored to plant growth, setting up these young sprouts for success as they grow. Step 4: Environmental Control with TrolMaster Tent X Controller 📲 For monitoring and control, I’m using the TrolMaster Tent X Controller, which lets me dial in every aspect of the environment to make sure these little ones have the perfect conditions for germination and early growth. • TrolMaster Benefits: • Precision Control: Adjust temperature, humidity, and lighting all in one place. • Notifications: Sends updates in real-time to my device, so I can make adjustments as needed without being physically present. • Consistency: Maintains stable conditions around the clock, reducing stress on seedlings and ensuring they’re thriving. Grow Tips & Reflections: Germination is one of the most crucial stages in a plant’s lifecycle. Starting with strong genetics like Terpyz Mutant Mentha de Croco, combined with a solid germination setup and the right nutrients, creates the foundation for a successful grow. 💡 Quick Tips for Fellow Growers: • Hydration Balance: Don’t oversaturate! Moisture levels should be high enough for the seeds to sprout but not so wet that they drown. • Light Management: A low PPFD for young seedlings prevents stretch and keeps nodes tight, preparing them for a healthy vegetative phase. • Environment Consistency: Use a reliable controller like the TrolMaster Tent X to manage your settings, and consider monitoring tools for real-time adjustments. Shout Outs to the Community: Big thanks to Terpyz Genetics for these incredible seeds, Aptus Holland for their top-notch nutrients, Future of Grow for the stellar LED lights, and TrolMaster for the amazing controller. Also, shout out to all of you in the growing community—you make this journey exciting and filled with endless learning. Let’s keep growing and sharing together! That’s it for the germination update! Next up, I’ll be monitoring growth closely to identify strong females (and maybe a standout male for breeding). This beauty is on autopilot at the moment. I’ve been watching the temps and doing what I can when I am home. It’s been soooo hot. My tent has been getting to 84 degrees regularly, I’m hoping that it won’t stress her out. I will be ordering a T8 in-line fan from AC infinity to accommodate the summer temps and RH and ensure good air circulation. Couple Of weeks still to go, she is a 9-10 week strain , but she is definitely proving to be worth the extra time. Her colas are getting nice and fat, and should be a good producer for me.
