Howdy, So this is now the first day of week 14, which is 99 days from sprout, 53 days from when I flipped the lights to 12/12. Still maintaining nutrients at the same levels, topping up on alternate days with RO water or Nutrients. Checked the trichomes under the scope yesterday, but forgot to save the video. So will post a video in a couple days time when I check them again. So far it’s looking like they’re about 75% clear, 24.5% cloudy and the other half percent are made up of translucent amber trichomes. I think she’s still got another 2 weeks in her, as I’ve read that people make the mistake of cutting early because they go off breeders flowering type from the day they flip lights when you should do it from the day you see pistols, which for me was about 8 days into 12/12. Really struggling to keep humidity down, so have a 10L per day dehumidifier coming this week to aid me in the last couple weeks to make sure all this hard work wasn’t for nothing! I needed one anyway to use once this lady is hung up to dry. I am still having to cut off about 5-10 buds per week that are burning unfortunately. I am also in the process of building a grow room around the tent, if I can get it finished, that will mean I can give these ladies some more space and finally be able to raise the lights. I think the better quality smoke will be just under the canopy as I have a feeling the lights are frying off the THC faster than the plant can produce it. Hopefully it can recover once I raise the lights... Anyway, waffling over. 🌱

Happy Weekend Friends, After another mixed week i gave her the chop last night on a dry and windy evening. Shes reached her fullest and was ready. I would just like to say thank you too @DutchPassion_Official for letting me take part as i've really enjoyed this grow and watching her beautiful flowers develop. She grew like a champ despite terrible weather conditions and this a strain definitely suited to the UK outdoors. I did find a bit of budrot in the main cola and one of the others which i managed to cut out, but given the amount of rain sustained its hardly surprising and overall she stood up really well. Trimming took ages as this gal is really dense with a high leaf to calyx ratio, but im left with what seems to be a really decent amount of solid purple 😊 Just got wait for this baby to dry now and then il give the final weight and smoke report in the coming weeks. Nouvelle semaine en intérieur, j’ai du éliminer une grande gotti et la graine inconnue, c’etais malheureusement des mâles. Je pense que je devrais bientot en éliminer une troisième, la deuxième grande gotti, elle ne sait toujours pas déclarer mais à première vu on dirais un mal, mais faut encore attendre pour en avoir le cœurs net. Rien a dire de plus, elle commence chacune à bien developper leur pistil. Frosty est petite mais bien charnue, je ne crois pas qu’elle va donner beaucoup mais elle va donner un bon truc je le sens bien 🙏🏻 Aladdin kush #1 se porte bien, et ce malgré son tronc fendu en deux. Elle se développe très bien, et prends une belle hauteur, je sens qu’elle va me donner de belle chose! Aladdin kush #2 tous comme sa sœur mais sans le tronc fendu bien sûrs.

I liked growing this strain very much, it was very easy growing and everything worked out nice, I like the structure of this plant the node spaces are not so big and everything filled in nicely when she was flowering. The fastbuds zkittelz has giant huge buds they where one of the biggest buds i grow on auto's. It was a plesure to see em getting bigger and bigger. I found that the plant was very forgiving as in mistakes you make, so i recomend this to every grower out there. They only thing is it takes a little bit longer then they advertise. But then again maybe the company's are giving you the most early time you can harvest if you do everything as perfect as you can. I think you cannot do much more perfect as you have a plant that grow as big as this one. So that being said i think if you let em go for 2 weeks more then in the last 2 weeks the buds are really fattening up and they double in size sometimes. In the end i had some foxtails on my buds, not all of them but still a few, I was thinking about it, and maybe it is because i pushed her a little bit too much in the end with the nutrients, She was not that close to the lights i think. Or maybe it is also a little bit in the strain. I definitely grow this strain again. (no rights to the music in the video)

Gonna let them bulk up a full 10 weeks I think. Just watching them, mostly. Fed them again, but not double dose. Moved the light up to 18", then gradually up to full dosage, Gonna let the weak plant get a little sunburn, but not for the entire grow period. Going to give them a full week on full blast, and then yank the lights a couple inches and back down to 75, to try to match the late stage DLI. Should hopefully save the terps at that point. Set up a 4" blower, now getting ~24.5-25C instead of 27-28.5C. aiming for 40% humidity I think now.

Day 10F-17F (Day 10F) Everything is looking on point. I’m going to soak in a gallon of lite compost tea diluted to 400ppms on each plant except for #5. I’m still a little worried I won’t make it through the stretch but at the same time I fear N toxicity just as much. I will give one more lite tea before the end of stretch, most likely at the end of this week. (Day 12F) Ladies responded nicely to the tea except for BBB#1. It just isn’t looking as vigorous as it was last week. It’s the only one without an air hose so I guess it couldn’t hurt to grab one. The air hose does without a doubt prevent overwatering in soil and I’m surprised I don’t see more people using it. It’s cheap, effective and gives me similar results to growing in pure coco. I’m going to give one more light foliar spray of 3ml of calmag, 3ml of kelp and 2.5ml of insect frass. (Day 14) Got the air hose hooked up to all 5 plants now. I hate that I’ve been forced to defoliate so much in early flower and it is definitely reducing bud size. Last round my bbb’s had pistil clumps twice the size at this time and they were dealing with severe deficiencies. I’m hoping it’s just genetics or the fact they are larger plants. (Day 15) I’m starting to see signs of N toxicity on the some of the new growth and overall growth on all plants except #1 has slowed. It was most likely caused by the foliar spray/tea combo. No more feeding anything for the next 12 days at least. Luckily it’s still pretty early in flower but I know that N tox can hit really hard after the stretch stops. I would be pretty upset if I vegged for 80 days only to get severe N tox in mid flower. Since it’s not breaking down in the soil, I should be fine. I’m going to defoliate some more of the large bottom fan leaves as they hold large reserves of extra nutes I don’t need. Hopefully these small defoliations aren’t stressing them at all. Next round I plan to do a big strip one week before flower, at transplant and a second big strip on day 21. (Day 17) I think I was over-worrying about the seriousness of the N tox. I’ve seen it hit very hard in mid flower and can’t be too careful. It’s almost always caused by water soluble nitrogen so I’ll try to stay away from that unless I absolutely need it. My case does not look to alarming just yet. I noticed the stunting on #3 right after that last tea so I am going to stop giving the last liter of compost tea because of how unbalanced and separated at the bottom it is. It sure helped out the other 4 plants that didn’t get the granulars from the bottom of the bucket. I‘m planning to give a bloom tea around day 26 and a final top dress a few days later. #1 has now out stretched everything else in the tent. I honestly was not expecting that. If #3 didn’t get stunted this whole week I think it would be the taller/heavier plant.
