24/08/25: Today was the day! After checking the trichomes, I’d say the ratio was around 1:4 amber to cloudy, with no clear trichomes left in sight. Pretty much the perfect harvest window and I am super happy that I kept them a little longer since I didn't detect any pests/mold whatsoever while trimming! 😁🤞🏼 I went for a wet trim this time so I can dry them in DryFerM bags, which I’ve heard a lot of good things about and am excited to try out. The trimming session intense since I had to cut a lot of leaves and the smell was really strong! Both plants surprised me with a strong diesel/fruity aroma that I hadn’t noticed as much before. The Sativa-leaning pheno is fruity with fresh lemon terps, while the other leans into those spicy, earthy notes with even more gas, which I love! The smaller plant also developed some beautiful purple buds, which I never had before. All in all, I’m very pleased with how this first run with autos turned out, especially since the two phenotypes ended up so distinct in both looks and aromas.

11/23 - Update 1 day early. Will make measurements and update accordingly tomorrow, as usual. I did a top off at 75% strength nutes. She is drinking 1.5 gallons per week (approximately). Trying to hold her ~850ppm @ 5.9pH. Her canopy is nice and open and bud-sites are stacking nicely. I'm hoping for some additional stretch over the next 7-10 days to give me an increased yield. Looking forward to seeing what pheno I ended up with. 11/24 - Updated stats. 850ppm, 9" above screen (so 15" total). Measured pH of 5.3, added 1ml GH pH UP to adjust; will check again later. Light adjusted for optimal canopy between both plants. I might end up re-orienting the lights in the other direction. The distance from the flowers varies between 12"-16" because some of them are stretching up more than others. I still think it only has a slight aroma, but she still has a ways to go. If she goes the full 13 weeks (~90 days), then harvest would be on 29 Dec (Happy Birthday!). Later on 11/24 - Uploaded videos of buds and roots. 11/28 - Went ahead and supercropped/HST the tallest stalk. Well, those in the catalog died or did not germinate well, apart from that, the 6 seeds without breed that we have saved from good buds that came into my hands germinated well. here I share a little of what could be recorded, as you can see there is a bigger one that was the attempt to germinate the cars with an approximate age advantage of 25 days, with that criterion I will comment on this one in particular and the others in your set. The largest in age also has the largest pot of all of 11 liters approx 3 gallons The 2nd largest is for having the 2nd largest pot of 7 or 8 liters approx 2 gallons The remaining 5 are in pots of 3.5 liters or 1 gallon We also started fighting with the high temperatures due to the weather, which will go down as the months go by in our favor, we turn on lights at night and turn off the lights during the day to compensate, which we will manage just as well as the plants adapt, as will be seen until 3 o'clock 4 week of flowering, which is the one we are currently going through when this diary is being updated

So Friday will be day 70. I messed up a lot, did lst and used big pots so I'm thinking these might go 3-5 more weeks. They smelled so amazing a few times today though. First the purple punch, then the sour diesel, then the girl scout cookies, each gave off aromas one after the other a few times today. The purple punch smalls so sweet and delicious.

Week 8 of flower Well this plant is really filling out. I definitely roasted the edges of the her fan leaves but she is still chugging along nicely. She should start to ripen up in the next couple of weeks. 😎😎

Hey guys :-) A lot has happened this week :-). She has developed very well. Today it was topped on the main shoot for the first time. How often I will use topping on her, I make it dependent on how everyone else develops. I want to bloom soon so it won't happen very often :-). It was poured twice this week with 1 l each time (for nutrients, see table above). Fast plant spray from GBL was applied 2 times this week. New was added this week Fast Bud from GBL is preparing her for the coming flowering. Bio Grow Stay away for a while because the substrate is 30-50 % consists of fresh earth and the ladies are nice and dark green :-). Today there was another spray with neem oil against the remaining tripse which I will repeat one last time next week. As always, everything was cleaned and checked. 05/18 I have a question Should defoliation continue? The light hits the buds and is unnecessary, but some growers advise getting rid of the foliage so that power from the roots goes to the buds. I plan to leave it as it is and only occasionally remove 5-10 leaves that are shadow. I'm in love with the structure on this sugar cane. She takes training easily and has developed a beautiful canopy of tops without much effort. It's almost like she just knows what I want her to do. Day 35 is here. We are a week into flower and most the plants are just starting to hit that flowering stretch. I have been bending them down a little every couple days, but I need to focus on cleaning up some of the bottom branches so we can keep good air flow through the plants. Will work on that through this next week. I haven't done a water change, just been topping off the reservoir with fresh nutrients as they drink it up. Feeding half and half maxigro and maxibloom. Will cut out the maxigro in a couple weeks when I notice their stretch slowing down. I had a plant overflow this week because the drain line is getting full of roots. I noticed a couple roots have made their way into the reservoir already. I set a pump timer to 1 minute on and 20 minutes off so they can drain properly. I would like to make it through the grow without having to mess with the drains, but we will see what happens. I will make some modifications if needed. Other than that everything is running smooth and I hope we have some little pistils to show by next week. Thanks for stopping by ✌️

We are close to the harvest! -The Greenhouse Wonder pie (this is a seed obtained by self-pollination) is covered with resin, from the beginning of flowering, very early compared to the others, and will be the first to be harvested. -The 2 Runtz are spectacular, the largest will have the main production of the entire Box. -There are 4 Alaskan Tunderfuck left, so far I can say that the genetics do not seem particularly stable to me, 3 different phenotypes, 1foxtailing on the whole plant, 2 specimens are still in full bloom with short and very wide buds, and the fourth seems to have a beautiful bud and dense and ready to be harvested. Alaskan Tunderfuck very sensitive to acid PH, unlike Runtz which also seems to grow in lava !

Doing well planning a light defoliation this week.

Santa has been working hard so he can give out lots of smelly xmas presents. He has also been working on taking better pics of the buds. Ps. My tent is in my closet in my office (I have been WFH for 2 years). Nothing better on a stressful day than opening up the tent and staring into the green, my type of therapy. Has helped me get through my last semester of gradschool while also working full time.
