This week the new growth of the plants transitioned from looking relatively healthy to droopy and yellowed. I wasn't sure what the issue was at first and thought it might be light stress. After more research, I determined that I had what looked very much like a zinc deficiency, which is almost always a symptom of over-watering, which is the most common mistake for new growers, i.e. "Me". I had assumed that adding a good amount of perlite to my soil and using smart pots would prevent me from running in to any drainage issues but I guess not. I was up to 1.5 liters per plant when I realized that it was too much. I also realized I was misreading my syringe which I use to mix nutrients, and that i had been giving only 1/10 of the liquid nutrients that I thought. I'm super embarrassed about the mistake but I'm going for full transparency here, so there it is. Course correction takes places after day 31.

Still not touching the plant or setup and just letting it be pretty much. Did a full tank water removal and started to add some Calcium Magnesium as I'm seeing some deficiencies on the leafs. So far this setup has been incredibly easy, haven't had to do anything, no topping, no training, etc. Could have used a scrog to keep the main branch a bit shorter but it looks like it should work out.

Growing the 3gal naturally with a small amount of lst. The 5gal was topped, and the 7gal has more intense lst done. Minor defoliation needed for these ones. All top dressed this week: 3gal 1tbs of 4-4-4 and 2tbs of 2-8-4, 5gal 2tbs of 4-4-4 and 3tbs of 2-8-4, 7gal 3tbs of 4-4-4 and 3tbs of 2-8-4. Watering when dry.

Hi all the happy people here in GrowDiaries. This is my second cultivation ever and it will be fun to try a bigger space than my closet grow. First, I'm just going to say I'm done with the construction of my new growroom. I put some pictures on the construction here in week one. The room is 2.14 meters by 1.7 meters and has a ceiling height of 2 meters. It provides a floor area of ​​3.6 square meters. I use a 54 Watt Lightwawe T5 for germination and 2 Pcs 400 Watt HPS lamps. I have a channel fan that replaces the room air about 40 times an hour to get a comfortable theme in the room, the air enters a fresh air intake from the outside. Very happy with how this lady has performed, amazing quality buds, very sticky and dense flower with a concrete smell that I love so much, which is that kind of fruity sweet flavor that this lady is able to produce, it's been a beautiful journey, I'm gonna enjoy a lot this flowers. Very recomended guys!

As week 2 comes to an end 4 of the 5 have shown great growth 1 is behind (#5) but it also has a mutation and has a few 4 leafers on it. #3 is shorter and has wider leaves.

So clones are hopefully nearly ready to form roots to allow me to put into their final pots! The main I put into the garden has started thriving, I knew she would as the soil she was in is very dense and holds water for longer of which I hate so once it got to root out it started to grow immediately stronger and bigger even after the whole trim down!

So after doing just a couple of weeks of LST on my Elixer CBD auto I realised I didn't like how it was sitting in the pot. It was too late for the CBD but I still had plenty of time for this girl. so I filled up her pot with soil which kinda negated the LST I had already done. No biggie, I enjoy the work so doing a little extra is okay. That's pretty much the only change other wise she's growing well. Continuing on with Dutch Science Nutrition and LST.

Day 106. Trim jaiiiiiilllllllll !!!! First done, think it could reach my record 240. Insane quality. 4 rows of solid buds hanging .... Next one .... Both finally finished and honestly, that's my plants to be proud of !!! Day 114. All is done, no doubts its my best grow. Happy Growing !!!

4/27/2024 Flower Week 10 Day 1- Water Change Day!!!! Still about a week out.. but her grow sister is ready.. I setup the Dry tent, and I have moved everything in the Cannatrol so I have room for 2.2lbs wet in the cannatrol and everything else will be hanging.. I have my AC unit in the tent, I have my Dehumidifier's setup and I have my fans. I have one more fan that will be delivered tomorrow and I needed one more Carbon filter and inline fan and that will be here tomorrow as well. As soon as they get in I will go ahead and check one more time on the Trichomes of her grow sister and as long as she is where I want her to be. My Dry tent temp will be 70 and my RH will be 55. Timber...... Looks like leaf erosion stopped spreading after the last 'extra phosphorus' watering I made yesterday. Now I'll wait till the end of this week to make huge defoliation I planned. 7 months after planting her from seed the day is finally here. A little earlier than I would of liked due to insects (crickets/grasshoppers eating buds) but she's thereabouts finished. Probably lost 1/3 of buds from the chewing insects but still a big yield and my drying room is full 😊 She survived two rainy season's and some serious wind from a tropical depression back in September. I have kept this grow completely organic so no pesticide or chemical fertilizers used. Apart from heavily amending the soil at the start I mostly fed her crabmeal once a month and seaweed and molasses in most waterings. A few of those waterings were diluted with my urine 😆👌 NPK right!? Why not.. then at the end I added a cultured pro biotic yogurt to the soil 2 days before I harvested. (Tip from a fellow grower @med_in_tropic - thanks bro) Not sure if it made any difference as I cannot compare with another plant but, the plant starting smelling like lemon furniture polish.. like a lemon scent with a fuel undertone. Almost menthol like 🤷‍♂️.. smells amazing. Me and my wife drank tea from the trimming and the citrusy flavour came though into the tea which was nice. Weather wise the temperature is down now to around 16c at night with RH around 50% so the buds should dry much slower than the last harvest so I should get a better flavour profile. Smoke report to follow after she has been in a jar for a week or so.. I did try a bud sample a few weeks back and the taste then was already pleasant so for sure this will be fire... 🔥 Thanks for all the kind comments, this was my first ever grow start to finish.
