05/31/2024 : flowering week 8, almost done but BB isn't full yellow yet and there are still too much clear TC on flowers. I may harvest main colas at the end of this week and let the rest for another week... or cut everything and make some bubble hash with lower parts. Anyway, it smells very good now! 😁 06/03/2024 : as top buds were foxtailing, I cut everything that turned purple and got almost 240g wet material (now in dryer for about a week). I reset LED to 30cm from new flat canopy, with DLI 36~45. There are still a lot of buds to come!😍

Hi all, Grow area updates: Nothing major far as area is concerned added Some yoyo’s to the net so it can be raised and lowered easily now. I also noticed I had been following ghp feeding schedule for a recirculating system when mine is drain to waste. Didn’t have in adverse effects on the plants at all actually think they loved it tbh. But I’ll notice the ppm difference on these future updates. I was using way more nutrients then what was needed. Now I get to save money lol. Blue dream auto: Def has the faint smell of flowering cannabis now. The branching power from the mixing blue dream and already branchy plant with the ruderalis is def perfect for a scrog set up when you trying to maximize the your yield off one plant. I had to visit the tent 3 times this week to re tuck her down. Did the last tuck Thursday so what you are seeing from the pics today is three days of growth. Crazy!!!! She sitting at about 900 ppm And that’s with cutting the the grow solution some. Master kush photo: She popped through the net mid this week and hit her first tuck under today. With how well she reacted to the femm job. I went ahead and topped on the new growth on each branch. Her branch structure is way more sturdy then autos for sure. Leaves are bigger as well. One is the size of my palm lol I have big hands so that’s awesome. She sitting at about 800 ppm and getting less bloom solution. I’d also like to add I appreciate everyone’s advice far as set up and temp control. It was above 100°F the last couple days. Last week only watering one time and let the plant dry our for 3-4 days. There is not much to trim as the buds are rock solid and big.

Have had some challenges this week. In my lack of experience, I have struggle to discern whether my plant is deficient in nutrients, suffering lockout or approaching harvest. Symptoms were yellowing leaves... The cause of which can be, of course, many different things. I decided to flush last week, thinking that a nutrient lockout was most likely. Leaves less yellow this week so think it may have done the trick. I have spent some time researching and considering flushing as a technique to improve final bud quality. I have decided that there simply isn't enough evidence to deny my girl of nutrients at a critical phase of her growth. I am therefore continuing a reduced feeding schedule of - 1mls topmax - 2mls BioBloom - 1 scoop biosys ecothrive - 2.5mls Cannazym. And, unless indicated otherwise, will continue with this schedule up until harvest. Today I have tested PPM of the run off and measure it to be approx 1050ppm. I will measure again in 24 hours to monitor change after a feed. Purchased a 60x microscope and am able to see that 90% of trichomes are still clear. I am therefore anticipating at least another couple of weeks before harvest. Buds look fluffier than I'd like, but resin and trichome production haven't disappointed. I'm hoping that over the next few weeks the buds will continue to fatten. 19/11/2021 - Day 79. Have a few days off so have managed to catch some photos in day light. Have also uploaded a video. Feel that she isn't particularly happy... But on the other hand, she is showing the resistance and ability to adapt to less than ideal growing conditions; as promised by the strain genetics. Plenty of trichs, plenty of resin, plenty of buds. Just need them to fatten and fill out for maximum yield and quality. 23/11/21 - Day 83 - Still some deficiencies but she doesn't seem to be using much water so reluctant to feed at risk of overwatering. Noticing lots of new pistil formation. Looking frosty, but all trichomes still clear. Temperatures dropping to around 2°c overnight here. Managing to maintain temperatures around 10°c in the shed. Appreciate that this is too cold for growth but she seems to be coping with it well. I think that a gradual reduction in temperature has been tolerated better than fluctuant or sudden drops would be. Fingers crossed that her hardy nature keeps her strong. Fed today: 1mls BioBloom 2mls Topmax Half scoop Biosys Ecothrive Filtered water - pH 6.5, TDS 320 Run off 953 TDS 29/11/21 - Day 90 - no sign of any amber yet. Still mostly clear with a splattering of cloudy. Really worrying about the night time temps now and holding out hope that it doesn't die off before the trichomes mature.

August 18, day 108 (day 41f), the buds are going through their final ripening before harvest. They are putting on a bit of weight still, but the trichomes are close to where I would like them to be (entirely cloudy) and there is some foxtailing starting on some of the buds. I don't mind the foxtailing as it means more harvest weight, but the plant is definitely getting closer to the end of its life. The Mandarine scent and beautiful red tones make this strain a winner. The buds are chunky in a good, balanced, "I'm not going to find rot in the middle" kind of way. August 21, day 111 (44f), flush soon, cut soon. Hey friends, end of week 13 from seed. A big incident happened this week, I had 3 clones growing in the same tent. I had placed them on some cardboard boxes so they could be closer to the light. Woke up one morning and saw all 3 plants on the floor, pots fell on plant #1 and destroyed 2 stems on the bottom, they had some small buds formed already. I chopped the 2 stems and hanged them up for drying, I left all the leaves on, did no trimming. After 3 days, buds were dry, smelled like plant and bud combined, not too pleasant. I couldn't resist to try it out, so I crushed some on my vape. It kicked in as a sativa, eyes got weak, head high, it slowly starts to give you a appetite and after 40 mins, you want to sleep, overall it felt like a sativa - Hybrid. The taste at the beginning was not very pleasant I guess because these buds were not ready for harvest yet and I did not flush them. Will need to do more research on harvesting / drying and curing. 1- how dry to should the buds be before curing? 2- is it better to trim leaves before or after drying for a better taste? Noticed some amber on trichomes Will begin to flush in week 14 Smell is stronger Leaves are slowly fading to a different color Will keep you guys posted!

Purified water and 1/16 of a scoop of great white mix well. 3 seedsman zkittles auto seeds in a piece of reverse rolled up 210 grit sand paper. Shook the beejezus out of it till my arm got tired to scour the shell a bit. Tossed it in the jar of tea. 24 hrs later she popped. I replanted in rapid rooter plugs on oct 6, and with in 1 day 1 plug popped, The next day the other and on the 11th I noticed the 3rds cotyledons we’re stuck in the plug. I helped her a little and by the 12 all 3 were ready to be planted in their final home, A 3 gal fabric pot filled with my mix of 1 bag ff ocean forest : 1 bag of ff light warrior. Each lady was 2” high with the first set of true leaves and nice little roots peaking through. I’m having an issue with my purified water taking 24 hrs sitting before I get a stable ph so when I measured the res water in my dome, what I thought was 5.5 now showed 8.0 😐. I fixed that and watered all 3 with the correct ph water.

Final product is been absolutely amazing on these clones - the jungle came out about average but the clones definitely exceeded expectations there absolute fire in comparison but still just as good hopefully I can just improve a few issues we had on this run and dial right in 100% will be so much better, next few run is going to be special I’ve got a few things lined up. From tester packs to breeders packs I can hunt from. So lots to choose from but what to keep to run will be interesting

I make a lot of mistakes but she was strong and kept it up till the end I make mistakes from the beginning because was growing 2 plants in 1 pot I will know the next time I can't wait to smoke it 😎 btw it was my first time growing DWC and I love it this strain teach like no matter happens in life I need to keep growing without giving up fill me up with motivations am so hook up in growing I hope I will never stop growing I love it 😎😍😘

Hello and welcome to week 8, the second week of 12/12 for Her Royal Highness Queen Citronella. As you can see she is chafing at the lack of space. She wants to keep growing. I am looking for a 3x3 to solve this. Day 50: Fertigated 6l. Day 53: Height 33cm Width 70cm Depth 70cm - clear signs of flowering today. Fertigated 4l. Day 54: It's getting difficult to get her in and out safely as she is now bigger than the tent door. Day 55: Stretching fast now. 38cm x 60cm x 60cm the latter two being severely limited by the tent size. Day 56: End of week 2 since flipping. Preflower period ending and flowering proper begins. Approximately ten weeks to go. Citronella is really impressive and smells very citrus. All of her foliage smells if you touch it. I do not know if this little tent can contain her. I have some major concerns about this grow due to some real life complications.

I've enjoyed a lot growing this plant, I had to deal at tje end of thr cycle with fungus gntas but she resisted without problems, each day the flowers stink more and more, amazing genetic, I would definitely like to keep on working with this genetic, it's a pleasure to smoke, I recomend you to grow her organically like I did snd you'll see!

This week seems kinda no improvement. I have this feeling but i cant expplain why.

Raised lights an inch and switched to FF Grow Big 10/ml/gal. Working on getting humidity up and temp down, such a conundrum. Added humidifier outside the tent next to the vent in. Plants look really good. The Pineapple Chunk is the biggest still but a little less dark green than the Presidential and Fruity Pebbles. Fruity Pebbles was the smallest but at the end of the week it seems to be almost as big as the Presidential.

A cutting requires roots to uptake water, we must create an environment so humid the plant can absorb moisture through its one set of leaves, 70+RH% but also a good supply of fresh air and full temperature control. Once I see light lime green it will signify new growth of the plant, I will know it has started to re-root.
