7.5.25: I retied down the branches on RQS Northern Lights auto. I had to clean the tent, so the opportunity had to be taken, I hope not to have to move them again. I ended up snapping a small branch off another plant 😖 She is looking so big out of the tent, and even bigger than I thought! Now, having readjustmed, the fabric ties, and she is looking even larger still. This really is an absolute giant of a plant! 😱 I really am struggling to get them all in, I think the 8 gallon pots were a definite factor in that. They certainly are great for getting big plants, but be prepared if you have a small space. She's still stretching and not really focusing on her bud development in these mid flowering weeks. I think we will be in for a long haul with this lady. I hope she doesn't get too much bigger. I watered some bloom nutes after I top dressed, with Mega Crop Part A by Greenleaf Nutrients. I watered 3.2 litres PPM:745 PH:6.0. This time, I'm going to keep the top dressing moist. So as not to kill all the beneficial microbes. Other than that, I will wait until the pots are light again. Overall, she is doing great, I wish she had stretched a little more evenly to catch up in height. I just can't even out the canopy anymore. I'll leave it and hope she'll sort herself out 😅 I'm very excited to see what happens next! This is going to be crazy whatever happens! 😍😋 8.4.25: Northern lights had dried out significantly, so I watered with 2 litres of dechlorinated water PH'd to 6.4. Containing per litre: ♡ 1/4 tsp of Greenleaf nutrients Sea K(elp). PPM: 800 PH: 6.4 I don't want the top dress to dry out too much, and the plants are starting to drink much more. 9.5.25: It's a necessity to keep the soil moist. That means I need to water more often now. Today I watered with 1.5 litres of dechlorinated water PH'd to 6.4 which contained: ♡ 1/5 tsp of Sea K(elp). By Greenleaf nutrients ♡ 1/4 tsp Ecothrive Biosys. PPM: 564 PH: 6.4 12.5.25: Northern Lights has been srayed with the foliar spray and all symptoms have resolved. Due to having a few leaves burnt with that, I've decided to use the Ecothrive Trace in the water instead. It left some orange spots of damaged leaves. November 2nd marked another week of flower with "Pepper". She is a beautiful plant of jewel tones of greens, glistening under the frosty coating. We're getting close to the end. November 3, 2021, Wednesday. Nothing new to report. November 4, 2021, Thursday. Watered thoroughly. Her calyxes are swelling before my eyes, it's such a beautiful site. November 5, 2021, Friday. She's such a lovely site with buds just swelling by the minute. I believe she'll be ready to harvest sooner than I think. November 6, 2021, Saturday. Nothing new to report. November 7, 2021, Sunday. Day of rest.

Finally reached the point of flushing her, she has taken a long time to reach this stage at the end of week 12 . She hasn't received the full 18 hrs on throughout her life cyclye due to space and spending time with photoperiods so I guess this is the reason for her being slow to mature. This strain really is a stinker and the spider farmer carbon filter has not done the job of neutralizing the smell. I have had to replace this with a rhino filter which has solved the issue .

Day 17 17/07/24 Wednesday De-chlorinated tap water pH 6 with calmag 5ml -5L. Very humid week, noticed a green turning colour on top of soils where the humidity has been far to high. I have installed door netting and recently left open all day and night now so they can condition over night in colder temps. All are doing well, one overdose slightly behind and looking ABIT swifted. But she'll come around 💪💚 Day 19 19/07/24 Friday Lite Feed today, 250ml each pot small run off. Seeing excellent start to these babies. 📋 Comments Lemon cherry gelato by MNSL Is a good plant to grow. She has produced some nice flowers and is a very forgiving plant. 📋 Data Seed to havest=113 days. Veg time=35 days. Flower time=78 days. Wet weight=917g Dry weight=104g 📋 Smoke report After 11 days of drying i trimmed half the plant (trim jail) and finished trimming the day after, it. Not the easiest to trim and not as dense buds as the other plant in the grow but damn this lemon cherry gelato is absolutely dripping with trichomes and has a really fruity smell. There is a decent amount of trim to run some bubble hash. This is an excellent smoke, quiet sweet with citrus/lemon and slight cherry or fruity taste to it. Quiet strong maybe 25%THC. 📋Grow stats for GDG 22 #1 Lemon cherry gelato=104g #2 Zoap=79g Total=183g Lights on. 20hrs×7days=140hrs 18hrs×33days=594hrs 12hrs×78days=936hrs Total hours=1670hrs Light power=211.09Kw Rad power=415.73Kw Extractor=43.5Kw 4 gang=56.62Kw Top fan=27.82 Total electricity=754.76KW Electricity cost @£0.25/Kw=£188.69 Average light power a day=1.78Kw Average watt per hour=106w g/watt=(183÷106)=1.72g/w £/g=£1.03/g 📋Final word. I combined the trim from both plants to make a hash run and managed 14g of hash. That takes my total to 197g for the grow. Very happy. Back soon. Another good week in the books down in the tent. Carl 1 and UKBS 1 are both developing some nice buds, Carl 1 with the bigger buds of the two. Carl 1 had to have a few more buds tied up today, as they overweighted what the stems could handle and started sagging like crazy, creating a lot of empty space in the canopy. Timelapse for the week is out, of course. Updates as they come; per usual. 6/11/2021 - Got a video of how the stem's degenerated, it's mainly on that one side. Somehow an entire branch snapped off of UKBS 2, upon further inspection I noticed it was barely attached to the stem at all and did not attempt to re-attach it. Additionally, some of the clones are doing alright and others are shriveling and dying. Not sure what the inconsistency is caused by. It may be the medium; being soil, stays wet for too long. I can't really think of any other reason. I'm misting them, the humidity stays high now that I have a dome for them, they've been dipped in stim-root and supplied mycorrhizae. Will be submitting a grow question as I'm completely new to the whole cloning concept. Also today: more bud shots using the fancy EOS T5 Rebel. Stay tuned! At the beginning of this week, I have been fighting the gnats, which are less and less now. Just some watering and gradually lowering the light and going to full power. The Orange Hill Special has been filling out great and I must say, she is a pretty plant. With some manual bending and super cropping, I'm bending the longer stalks sideways and we are off. What I actually do is more of an intuitive hybrid between mainlining (where I bend the whole plant 90 degrees at the third week), LST (where I bend branches outward slightly, without tying), HST / Super crop (where I bend the stems 90 degrees with the clips or manually), after which I keep bending outward to SOG and, put the net over to end in SCROG. This same method gave me the canopy in my prize-winning Gelato 33 grow. Check it out if you haven't seen it, it was my first experimental accident that led to beta test of Super Soil mixture 0.7, now we are at Alpha version 1.00 and testing great so far if I say so myself. I haven't seen such lush greens in my own grows, only outdoor. They seem uber-healthy and resilient, with very sturdy stems and leaves. Way more resilient than previous strains I tested in the beta soil. The light is performing, the natural color of it makes everything pop. Mars Hydro has a winner with the SP-3000. Halfway through this week, I took the clips out, AND...... we switched them to go into flowering. After a day the stretch is already visible. I had to bend them again after a couple of days. Now we have almost a tent filling foundation for a maximum result canopy of buds. I was wanting to amend the soil with flowering additions (see recipe in yellow image), but I'm holding it off for two reasons. A/ The leaves are still so green and lush, I think there is an abundance of nutes. B/ @Haoss mentions his suspicions on his OHS grow (@#CannapediaProGrowersCup Orange Hill that very sadly went hermie on him) that nutrition in this phase could have had an influence, after asking what happened to him. I would have loved to see that grow to full harvest. But it makes me a bit cautious. if Haoss (whom I consider to be one of the star growers here) couldn't prevent this, what chance have I? I'm waiting until the girls start asking for nutrients. They'll show me what they need in their own time. For now this soil is the shizzle (also quite literally) and Im happy with how everything is going. I remember much more hassle and steering in the last grow. This grow, even the Gorilla runt seems happy. I now water them 3 liters of water / Perma tea mixture every 4 days, every 3rd watering I don't do the tea. This makes for fewer gnats and this soil seems to hold water nicely, also due to the hydro corn. What I like is there is always some unforeseen circumstance, a tilt of the tables, some battle to be fought which delivers in big harvests or, in worst case, no harvest at all. It makes it more exciting, when your heart is at stake, we pour a lot of love and attention in the ladies. So with hopes, but not too high, we go into flowering.
