Day 71 - Starting week 11 and this is her final week. She will be getting chopped on Friday. She’s still has quite a bit of white pistils but just about 100% of the trichs are milky with about 30% amber so that’s telling me she’s ready. I’ve never tried the 72 hours of darkness before harvesting but because I need some room in the tent, I went ahead and took her out and placed her into a dark cabinet until Friday. She’ll have decent airflow in there so she should be ok until Friday. Day 72 - Nothing new to update as of now. She’s just hitting her first 24 hours of complete darkness. I’ll give her a quick peak tomorrow and see how she looks and then will give her 24 more hours and chop her on Friday. Day 73 - Just a few updated pictures before chopping tomorrow. It’s been almost 48 hours of darkness and I’m not seeing much of a difference in her but she is definitely smelling REALLY strong.

Looking great I think pheno one will end up finishing a week early, maybe soon I will start the flush for pheno 1, as far as pheno 1 and 2 I will keep them going until I see more development

Day 38-45 (Day 39) Almost overnight, nearly a third of the white pistils turned red. Not sure if this is something do with environment but it wouldn’t surprise me if it had something to do with the feeding I gave it yesterday. Who knows (Day 42) I was going to give a fat defoliation today but I’m second guessing myself. I might take a few of the leaves that are sitting on top of each other but that’s it. After that, I’m on cruise control until the end. I’m watering in a gallon every other day and 1 day off when they look a little overwatered. All plants look happy and herm free. Bud size is still lacking overall. In my experience, buds don’t really swell that much after day 45ish so this is pretty much it. Can’t say I’m too happy but I’m certain the quality will be on point. (Day 43) I’m seeing a little more fade each day now. It’s almost pinkish right now. (Day 45) I’ve been taking a few leaves per plant every couple days or so. Once I can see that almost every budsite has adequate light I will stop. Just for good measure, I’m going to give a final feeding of seaweed extract. We still have 2 weeks of fattening up to do and they could definitely use a K surplus. And since this is a water soluble nute nothing is lingering and breaking down for more than a few days. Earlier in the season I had a seedsman white widow and a local m39 plant I was going to flower if I got less than 4 female BBB’s. I was lucky enough to get 5 so I gave the insurance 2 plants to a family member. M39 is now done after 60 days of flowering. And the white widow, which was really stunted is going another 10 days at least. Both plants were flowered in a closet under 2 cheap amazon blurples totaling about 200w. They were in 1.7 gallon pots with amended soil nearly their whole lives. They were only top dressed once around day 30 of flower. M39 must be a low feeder because it really didn’t get any deficiencies after it left my hands. It was consistently the most vigorous plant in the tent during veg too. From what I understand, it has the classic fruity m39 smell and because it’s not grown with paclobutrazol it’s not freakishly dense. Awesome. I will post some more pics and report on the smoke once it’s dried.

The plants are growing at a good rate now and drinking a litre each per day. I feed them by hand and each plant gets 2litres every other day. Didn't do anything else this week other than install the trellis on the last day. This plant is on the laft in the timelapse video.

Hello. This is the end of week 8 and the beginning of week 9 of flowering. Although the seed description said 10 to 11 weeks, I going to cut these girls down at 10 weeks. I need the room to grow and flower some Mac and Crack that's already growing.. Getting close to harvest I'll start flushing, But I'll give them 1 more feeding and then nothing but water till the end. I get much better taste and the buds smoke better if I flush and get the chemicals out of the soil before harvest. Well, that's the end of the Freak Bros. book # 10... I think there are 3 or 4 more books left in that series. I'll show them in future diaries. My other diaries have the old underground comic book, Weirdo by Robert Crumb if you want to check them out to see. The buds are really getting solid now and some are getting heavy and heading for the floor. Good times... Getting some great smells now. Musk is the most common. But some, smell of Citrus with Musk under tones. The smell is overpowering my carbon filter. I can smell these plants out by the street if the wind is blowing that way. Pure Lemon Skunk smell by the street. Nice. Getting near the end of their lives now and there are more yellow leaves as the plants pull what they need from the big fan leaves before turning the leaves brown. Some plants have sticky resin and some have slippery resin. OK. Have Fun. Chuck.

After deciding to start this new growing journey, I chose to germinate a Banana Purple Punch seed from Fast Buds. This particular strain caught my attention with its unique characteristics, and I couldn't resist giving it a try. I began by using a hydrogen peroxide water solution to germinate the seed, which helps oxygenate the water and prevent harmful pathogens. After about 36 hours, the seed cracked open, revealing the first signs of life. With a taproot emerging, I carefully transplanted the sprouted seed into a 20L airpot, ensuring enough room for the roots to breathe and grow freely. This marks the beginning of an exciting new adventure, nurturing this intriguing strain to its full potential.🌱💚 _________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________ One of my cannabis seedlings unfortunately didn’t survive in the pot....😭 Now, I’m trying again with two more seeds of the same strain, but I’ve changed my approach. Once they've successfully sprouted, I transfer them into coco tablets. There, they’ll remain until they’ve developed healthy roots before being moved to their final growing environment. I’m hopeful that this method will help me handle the early phase of the cannabis plants more successfully, and I’m excited to see how things turn out.💚💚

Great week. Added some big bud nutrients and defoliated a bit. The buds are swelling nicely, the Advanced Nutrients is doing its job without a bit of burn.

not much to say here, transplanted into bigger pots and so far still growing without any complications, picked some of the leaves. thats it. Hopefully i can switch the light cycle in the next 2-3 weeks, lets see what happens next.

We made some super cropping and defoliated a bit. Resin is Starting to develope. We turnd down the light to 75% because the plant is to near at the light and switched to 20h on. Week 13 in the garden, and it's been a week of contemplation and admiration. Despite my initial plan to flip the plants, I decided to give them another week in vegetation. It's like I'm sculpting a masterpiece, carefully grooming the plants into a perfect botanical sculpture. Working with my plants feels like art – it requires skill, love, dedication, and a sense of playing God. As I look at the tent, I can't help but feel a sense of pride and joy. These green beauties are turning out amazing, and I'm filled with overwhelming happiness whenever I get the chance to speak to people about them and show them off. But the time has come to take the next step in their journey. They're being flipped this week for sure, ready to embark on the next chapter of their growth. Another good week of growth very luscious green and you can tell the roots are expanding. The GROBUCKET system has been activated lol the soil deep down is moist to the right level. I will still continue to top water to continue to inoculate the nutrients until I feel there fully taken into the soil but other than that my environment has really been consistent for the most part. It’s safe to say they are all in Veg and I will let them go another week before I do any training or stress them out a lil. On this week(12) i decide to harvest BCN cause of found some mold on bud. As weighting on wet condition got totally 300g for 2 plant. For Pine apple as check trichrome i thing it around 70-80% cloudy and not found any mold. So, i let her continue flowering and will check trichrome again next 1-2 week.

Week 18 Daylight 12h40 - ☀️7h40/20h20🌙 🌈Weather changed a lot during this 2 week, alternating sun and rain with medium temperature: low in the morning 8°C and 22/24°C the afternoon. Cold wind: Autumn is coming soon! 🍃 This is the middle of the flowering cycle for 2 plants and the beginning for the others; and it’s harder than I imagined. Interminable war against pests: caterpillars and leafminer flies (+ guest :aphids). However the environment is clean, there is some sticky traps, ventilation and preventives treatments (Neem Oil, Garlic/Laurel) but infestation are a recurring problem 😩. Majors reasons of the proliferation are the hot temperatures in greenhouse, the quasi inexistants natural predators, humidity, plants proximity. September is the reproduction period of the cabbage looper: a butterfly which lays eggs on plants giving some hungry caterpillars. Some others pests are attracted by the nitrogen added in soil (batguano) I did a serious defoliation, continue to check the plants morning and night to catch intruders, sprayed regularly with Neem oil. For the moment the flowering continues. -Brake Pad Breath: plant has definitely changed of physiognomy, branches are covered by a lots of resinous flowers with a pretty good smell. Indica dominance. Around 3 or 4 weeks till the harvest. It will be long: the plant is a victim of pests and caterpillars and lots of leaves are damaged. -Flash Back#2: elegant plant, pretty good flowering since 3 weeks. Globally healthy despite of the pests aggression. Sativa dominance with long internodes distance and a vigorous stretch. -GMO x Zombie Kush: same difficulties against predators, late flowering, just initiated the flowering process but in a good way. -Royal Moby: the tallest one; around 170cm, not really adapted to dimensions of the growing space and not discrete. Plants was really shocked during the first wave of pests and after the sunburn. They're fattening up pretty well. I didn't do anything different than last week as far as nutrient levels. They really like to eat. I'm growing with 100w less light for this grow so the outer corner plants are suffering a little but still good. 💪🏾

Blue Shark is looking fab! Still a darker green than everyone else. There are 2 videos this week, one where I explain how my plan for a tomato roof using materials I already had didn't work out, and the 2nd being about the rogue who grew in my pea bed (whom I affectionately call "Rogue One") who has been raised almost exclusively on my homemade compost. I had people who were concerned last year when I made my own compost tea from the compost in my pile. People were concerned about bacteria, nutrient profile, etc. I feel like a lot of people get really regimented in their feeding, and they sort of forget that these are plants and they can adapt. They take what they need if it's available. I moved away from using mineral salts this year because you have to be careful with so many of these fertilizers so that you don't burn the plant, you have to flush it so you don't get a harsh smoke, mineral salts causing lockout, etc. If you stick with products that are natural you don't really have to worry about nute burn. You don't have to flush for an extended period of time before harvest. You don't have salts building up in the soil that are detrimental that you have to periodically flush and then add beneficial microbes back in. There is another way.
