At the beginning of week 2 the plants have grown fine, but also developed some yellow leaf-tips, which I assume is from the amount of light they receive. Therefore I decide to hang the both LED-fixtures higher. The LUMATEK ZEUS PRO 600W is now at 75 cm distance and the two SANlight Q6W-Gen.2 are at 90 cm distance from the top of the clones of CANNALOPE HAZE from DNA-GENETICS. The humidity inside the HOMEBOX-tent is kept permanently at 60% during veg. The grow-controller GROWBASE PRO from GROWCONTROL does a GREAT job in keeping a constant environment inside my growtent. As a precaution I put up some yellow sticky traps against fungus-gnats and also hang sachets with predatory mites from KOPPERT (=Thripex PLUS) on every plant. This will prevent spider-mites and thrips to invest my tent, since the predatory mites will eat them right away. I LOVE BIOLOGICAL TREATMENTS and decide on it every time instead of using chemicals, because I grow my own medicine here and dont want ANY CHEMICALS on my cannabis! 👍😎 At the end of week two I slightly increase the light intensity again, by adjusting the dimmers of my LEDs. The Lumatek is now set to 50% dimm-level and the SANlights are running at 60%. Until now there is not much difference to see between the two sides, all plants are healthy and doing well.

Ich hoffe das sie langsam aufhört zu wachsen denn ich habe nun echt Probleme mit der Höhe in dem Zelt. Bis heute verlief dieser Grow ohne Schwierigkeiten. Die Blüte setzte sehr schnell ein und es haben sich sehr viele Buds gebildet, ebenso ist die Anzahl der Seitentriebe nicht zu verachten. Das ist eine sehr gute Sorte! Ich werde heute die Erde durchspülen um Salze aus den Topf zu bekommen und anschließend wieder Düngen.

Lowered the hours as it's pretty hot and moved the time schedule by a few hours. Lights on at 5PM lights out at 7am keeping them in veg but allowing for heat management. Slow growth all round really think my lights could be lower, as the heats more manageable I may leave my 450W blue CFL plugged in. But smell and taste don't reach that traditionally extracted but this is another story. Morroccan way is good compromise between a stashbox or more evolute methods. This is probably the final week of the full tent shots, these were taken a few days ago and at this point there is only 8 plants that have not yet been harvested. I learned a lot this run, tried some new shit, grew out my own crosses, dialed things in by getting rid of the light leaks and adding the heater so it was a success. The new lights out performed my expectation and the leaf strip might become a staple in my garden. The leaf strip made me nervous I wasn't sure how it would turn out but all of my buds are noticeably larger, the lowers are filled out and as dense as the tops and it saved space, water and nutrients. The lights could have contriuted to the larger buds but the other things made it well worth it. I have been vegging out the next run for a while trying to keep them from growing too much in 1/2 gal bags so there should be some interesting plants there stay tuned. * My 2 MC1 X;s have been harvested and are in the dry tent now, one came out pretty ugly but smells unbelievablely strong of citrus. The black leafed one is a looker but doesn't have the yield factor. I thought I took cuts of these but turns out I did not so these 2 will be one and done, maybe down the road I will dip back into them but going forward I will be hitting any cuts that stand out to me with my reversed MC2 pollen and maybe give some away. But that won't be for a while.
