This plant was super resilient and my first harvest. I stunted it in every way possible. Got thrips and took back every fan leave stopping photosynthesis but pushed thru to the end and got some buds to smoke. Ultimately I learned a hard lesson and molded my buds bc I didn’t dry them long enuff. Lesson learned. I actually had a couple clones, one took off and revegged. It’s growing now keep an eye on the other diary.

After defoliating both Barbarian (=AK-47 x Barbara Bud) plants after week 11 they now develop more and amore flower clusters, since the light can penetrate deeper int the canopy now. The plants are producing trichomes like crazy, even the bigger sugar leaves are covered in them! VERY FROSTY PLANTS! The flower clusters clearly form colas now along all side branches and both plants fill up nicely. The smell is now strong and sweet with a clear peach aroma to it, it makes me smile every time I look into the tent. The plants love the Advanced Nutrients feeding schedule and are getting the recommended dose every watering.

I spent the week mainly transplanting. I transplanted the Sour Diesels (ILGM) from a Jiffy Pot into a 1 gallon fabric pot.😁 I really didn't have any issues this week everything is going well 👌. The plant(s) recovered 😷 from the transplant like nothing even happened. I would guess in the next week or so I will be transplanting into a 2 gallon pot, depending on how fast she grows. I like to go up 👆 in pot size gradually. I never really believed it made a difference. I would go straight from the Jiffy Pot to my end pot (3 gal, 5gal, whatever). Then I found some 1 gallon and 2 gallon fabric pot at a really good price 😎 so I bought them. I started out just trying a few plants and kept the plants that went straight into the large pots right next to them. To my surprise 😮 I noticed a petty significant difference in growth. Now I figure for a little extra effort 💪 whether it works or not it's worth a shot.

If you’ve followed along you’ll know how well this plant grew. It handled a lot of stress from supercropping, LST, and defoliation. The plant wanted to produce and wasn’t letting me get in the way of that. 7 days dry in my new dry and curing room. First 4 days 70*f and 55% humidity increased to 60 by the final day. I ended up with just over 6 ounces dry weight, well trimmed, and properly weighed. My seedsman Gelat.OG grown at the same time was an 8oz plant and the only one that beat the lemon pie on dry weight. The smell and colors of the lemon pie had me going crazy from early flower til the end. It was an absolute pleasure to grow. This is the second Lemon pie I’ve finished, a friend was running out of room so I finished his plant. He also got close to 6ozs but the smoke was much different and the colors were as well. You will run into very different phenos with fastbuds strains and it makes it difficult to repeat grows, just don’t be upset if my smoke report above isn’t consistent on every plant if you decide to grow it. Both were very enjoyable though… FastBuds has a place in my heart forever and I’d recommend them to anyone looking to grow cannabis at any skill level. They’re just good people over there. Personally I will be taking a new journey with Mephisto next to try and expand my knowledge of other growers, after hearing so many great things it’s time I give them a try. Big week! With alot to say here!! The first two apace mango that I harvested two weeks ago, finished up drying at 10 days. I trimmed them up today nice and pretty! These were the smallest two plants of this strain in this run, and the yield reflects that. I find that with autoflowers, the bigger the plant, the longer it takes to mature. With the amount of LST I use, my plants tend to take longer than if I were to let them go without lst.. but, its well worth the reward. 1st two harvested yielded 125 grams od high quality, marketable quality flower. After dry period. And 7 grams of high quality, first run, dry sift kief. Next order of business. Harvest 3rd plant on Thursday of this week. (Today is Sunday). I currently have it drying in a tent. (Along with a Northern lights that isnt in a diary). She will dry this entire week, and i may have havest numbera on her when i updated this diary again! Looking 🔥🔥 LAST ORDER OF BUSINESS I hve attached photos of the final 2 space mango from this run. They are by far the largest plants and will be the highest yielding from this run. I expect around 4 ounces from each plant. Give or take. Plants are fading nicely, and i am currently still feeding only water. I have attached photos first of the remaining two space mango plants that are still building. 2nd. I attached photos of the processed flower from the first two harvested on this run.

Growing good since the transfer

This was an easy grow, and had some amazing results. This is some of my best homegrown to date ❤️ the ladies were easy to manage, no PM, pests or disease. The root balls were enormous, wasn’t much soil to recover. They got heavy in the end from the weight but managed to stay upright for the most part. They were big stretchers , prepare for that, scrog was a good way to go but some of the eager beavers got away from me, which ended in some massive colas. Overall easy to grow, no surprises and you won’t regret the results! 10/10 ❤️👊🤤

11/17 Week 8 Man I will be glad when this grow is over, if making mistakes promotes learning well... Im a fricking PHD ... Ok progress on Maggie the yellow is limited to the very top as buds are building in particular those a couple inches from the top. Thinking another root drench is in order, cant hurt and letting her dry a bit as a prep. Looks like tomorrow Layla doing ok she exhibits far fewer problems but the same issue are present she is just a hell of plant along with the Runtz which she shares the tent. Thinking about the feeding tomorrow will decide what to do then. They have plenty of time to finish up, had some issues on germination on the grow following so looks like it may be delayed a week from the scheduled 2 weeks. Maggie may need it. 11/19 Have stumbled onto to something it seems. The further I move the lights out, they are now at twice the "ideal" placement of 14" at 28" and the yellowing is disappearing to a great extent. Problem with this of course is not enough light at bud sites not on the canopy which lets face it is most of your bud. It is absolutely something that makes the plants insanely susceptible to light burn. New one for me but maybe some of yall know so making a question of it. Pics at lights out only and I missed today so new pics later if I get back in time. Update : Defoliated and tightened training on all three to spread things out from the center and open up the light and air paths. Raising the lights is working just wish I knew why as lights are higher than crap with little room for more than a few more inches. Would drop the watts to 450 but need the heat to keep the grow room level as our temps here swing 40 degrees all the time. Something I learned with the help of a carbon filter. If things normalize will begin dropping lights to see what happens. 11/20 Setting the lights at 24" as I am not risking yield any further than that on Layla and the Runtz, Have the canopy as level as it can be with Brandy getting the least light being on a coco coir block (heh) for height, which she is responding well to since I opened up the plant and no longer worried over mold issues in that main bud. Have Layla on a milk crate to bring her into decent light as well as the Runtz. She is just a lovely thing building those white crystalline buds. Maggie has turned into a beast at least I know her root ball is huge from the growth above. Seriously defoliated her removing several small lower branches and leaves blocking light and air paths. Next feed will be continuing what seems to be working, Epsom salt and bloom nuets (no calmag with epsom salt) with a foliar feed after lights out which may well be with calmag. Foliar feeding today at lights out, one quart sprayer with 1ml CaliMagic and 0.5ml wetting agent un-PH warmed to 75 F before spraying (our tap water comes out at @50F so...), just trying to hit hard and effective * New Pics after foliar Update Folks its taken 8 weeks and a final piece of the puzzle provided by Grey_wolf resulted in a near full strength cal-mag foliar feeding and the last def bites the dust. See what happens from here but its the first time I have felt good about this grow since the bad time germing at week one. *big sigh of relief* Have a whole list of things I will never do again in soil more about that at harvest. Right now I need to work on why calcium is blocked at the roots but thats another day right now I just wanna look at em. 😁 11/22 Another foliar feed same as before just diluted 30% and all three got it today JIC Cannot find a pale leaf or top and hairs are standing up on the top buds for once and buds building nice on the lower ares the defs were cleared up first. Going to stop the foliars for a few days see what happens but will resume at first sign of need. Maggie has potential even after all this and we going to help her be all she can :D 11/22 Feeding day - Bio-Bloom 7ml - calmag 4ml - Recharge .5tsp / gal at 6.5PH to all three. No foliar today 11/23 The thickness of the hair growth on Layla is amazing! Will try and get pics at lights out of it if my crappy camera will catch it. Never seen anything like it, once again THIS this is what we intended by growing Stardawg :) Update: Pics and vid hope it comes through well enough as for the green in that tent and the dense hairs on Layla

This week they’ve been filling up. I’m noticing a little more crystallization but not that much. Not sure what’s going on there but they look beautiful.

Transplanted from 15 gallons to 25 gallons at the start of the week. Changed amendment ratio to 50/50 of 444 & 284 as this is the last week of veg. Adjusted lst to have the canopy level and I will take clones before the flip to flower.

Another one is flowering cannot believe it, Another Auto. Sadly going to be absent for a couple of weeks, going out of town but as soon as I return I am posting the progress, hopefully defoliating at this stage works out.

10/15 Same stuff, just keeping it stable is all I'm trying to do. Update 10/18 - Heat was ridiculous this week, had to turn one or more light features off, for example, turned off the HPS -AND- the LED circuit on the Phlizon on the hottest day because inside the tent it was like 91 degrees F. Yeah it may not be the perfect environment, but look at the growth from the 15th til today. Major flowering happening, unless I am tripping. I see a lot more healthy growth now, which in my opinion means the transplant idea was SO WORTH IT. I see a lot of crystals forming now and the tops the leaves are turning more white that I could hav imagined -- with two more weeks at least to go, I think I may have some bomb flowers if I dont fuck anything up. Northern light to the left in video has more to go and is not as far along as the Vanilla Frosting. 10/20 Added some new nutes for the last two weeks of flower, bubbling like a madman wanting this grow to finish. White Widow (three plants outdoors) will probably finish in the tent, its just really in stasis but it is getting some frosting of its own. BTW when I smelled the flowers yesterday I was blown away by how awesome they smell, like seriously boutique top shelf aromas going on, this is my first grow indoors and really the first time I have been able to give the attention and care these babies need. I have learned SO much. Especially about stuff I was clueless about before. Like which lights are good. What tent size to get. Ph, nutes, watering, relative humidity, cloning... all new stuff. I have become a better gardener as a result and my 200 sq ft community garden plot is doing way better and I expect next year to be bonkers because I really get the whole ecosystem thing now and how mycorrhizae helps everything.
