Average stem height of the big ones are 36 inches, but the mishap past week with the lights might have stressed em a bit and caused some stretching. There was also a humidity issue for a few hours, which could be the culprit for the stretching. Two stems are pushing 40 inches. However, there are no signs of light or heat stress, despite the stems getting within inches of the leds. We shall see... I’m also battling a cold Canadian winter where it hit -42 Celsius today. Plants are in a cold basement in an old house. Had to bring out an extra space heater. Can’t get the temp in my tent above 20. Tent is too packed to introduce a stand up heater. Maybe I’ll convince the plants that fall is coming and they need to bud like crazy.

Really love a set of scales to keep track of weight too. pH and EC are both critical for thriving plant health, but temperature also plays a pivotal role in achieving optimal growth. It also happens to be the fundamental parameter that's most commonly overlooked. When you think about temperature in the context of a growing environment, you could be referring to the temperature of the air around the plants or you could also be referring to the temperature of nutrient solution or irrigation water, which will affect the root zone temperature. While air temperature is important, for the purposes of this piece, I'll be focusing on root zone temperature and its effect on nutrient uptake and overall plant health. That's because a plant's root system is the location of two essential chemical processes: water and nutrient absorption. In each of these processes, having the correct root zone temperature is paramount for these to occur efficiently. In a nutshell, root zone temperature will affect the rate at which your plants are able to absorb nutrients. If you let your root zone temperature remain unmonitored and uncontrolled, this could lead to disastrous effects on your overall crop yield. Nutrient absorption is largely driven by chemical processes, which take place in your plants' roots; the efficacy of these processes is determined by the temperatures to which those roots are exposed. Once your root zone temperature moves out of its optimal range, the plant will not be able to deliver optimal levels of nutrients and water. Ideally, you should aim to have your nutrient solution or irrigation water temperature at around 18 – 22 °C (65 - 72 °F) to ensure optimal nutrient and water uptake. In addition to having an effect on nutrient absorption, your root zone temperature also affects oxygen availability and solubility. Empecé la germinación el 23/01/23 en un vaso de agua durante 12 horas, después al taper con servilleta húmeda 24 horas más. Radícula de 2cm y las planto en maceta de 1L Actualización estado de germinación 03/02/23: Meto fotos ya con las macetas rellenas al 10º día y fotos del 7º día comparando las macetas y los tallos. En cuanto el 2º par de hojas sea mas que evidente empezamos las semanas de crecimiento. Dentro de 2 o 3 semanas quizás, trasplantamos a maceta definitiva de 7Litros. Lo veremos. Actualización 06/02/23: Meto unas fotos de las plantas mas grandes, 3 días después para que se vea la diferencia de crecimiento. Además un video mostrando el cultivo entero, la luminaria y la extracción. Llevamos 13 días desde la germinación. Actualización 08/02/23: A partir de aquí voy a empezara a contar ya las semanas de crecimiento. Hemos tenido 15 días desde la germinación. They’re looking extremely healthy..gave em their first nute feed with the last watering seem to be doing fairly well..fimmed the GG and LST. Did not touch the unkown as it looks smaller to be the same age. Running GHE base line with few extra supplements. ****UPDATE**** Both are LST’d..might rethink the way I tie them. Going for a “coil” type look, we’ll see though. They’re looking great! Hoping for females!

Day 29 29/07/24 Monday Nice feeding today with De-chlorinated tap water pH 6. Gave her 300 ml and she had a small run off. Getting chunky in the stem now 💪💚 Day 31 31/07/24 Wednesday De-chlorinated water pH 6 today with Plagron pk13-14 5ml to 5L Plagron power buds 5ml to 5L Used 300ml of the 5L solution. I will be using these on water days from now on as they are advised to be used every irrigation. We'll see how they perform 💪💚 Day 32 01/08/24 Thursday Another feed today using de-chlorinated tap water pH 6, there now taking 300ml every evening. Day 35 04/08/24 Sunday END OF WEEK 😁 De-chlorinated tap water pH 6 today with Plagron products. 300ml each. Had a issue with leaf invaders this week, I have treated and am checking every 48 hrs so far seems ok and not progressive. All plants look great, very healthy, one of the Overdose is way behind and due to space maybe culled at flower I'll see how she gets on.

The tent was cleaned and fresh osmosis water was filled into the tank. Flowering day 17 Both were sprayed with canna cure and checked for health. Flowering day 18 Today both were once again poured with 1 liter because they are very thirsty 😃. and like every day they were checked for their health. Flowering day 19 Today there was nothing to be done except to fill the humidifier :-). Flowering day 20 Today both were lifted out of their pots and the roots on the root ball checked, everything was great ☺️👍. For this purpose, the plants were sprayed with Canna Cure. Hey guys welkome back in week 12 of the Sensi Seeds Silver Haze, we are almost there just a few more weeks to go befor she is done! For this week i upped her water volum cause they drink 2 times faster, i also added 1 extra ml of ultimate PK for the buds to explode, the buds are allreday start to feel prety compact and they give a of smells sweet minty, pine and citrus! Buds also covered in sticky resin and i was thinken to give them a tiny bit of controlled stress to let them produce more THC, any of you guys have experiance? Let me know The NL x Haze clones are groenig nice, the one on the right wil be cutter down in to clones and i Will prepare hem for the outdoor season and the left one will be put under 12/12 as soon the Silver Haze are done. Veg Week 5 Day 35 to 41 - 3/25 to 3/31 This week is primarily test training recovery. Seeing each recent topping was at the 3 node point I topped again. Follow up of the cola breaks was nice for all but 1, The worst break (the one with tape over it) actually recovered very well, I see no future issues from that branch other than monitor for weight tears. The next worse break on the other plant wasnt so fortunate. While it started out okay, it also kept ripping under its own weight as it grew topping wasnt only beneficial, it was the only thing that allowed this branch to survive past the day (lesson here is to make sure all breaks are back supported early while they recover at least) I think this branch may need to be supported for the entire grow, and the amount of recovery time is possibly past the point of which I would want to see in a normal grow since it may not produce nearly as well as the other colas. The lighter break on each plant look to have taken advantage of the damage and produces giant knuckles of cured hardwood at the breaks. This is exactly the kind of recovery I want to see since all future water ways will pass these points and the branch will still be strong enough to support future weight of giant flowers. Feed this week was again an auto pot reservoir feed at 300ppm total before add-ins. I used 300ppm Veg concentrate mix (recipe week 2) and NO Bloom concentrate mix (just showing the recipe in week 5- I am adding it in week 6). However, I also added 1ml/gal of CaliMagic (General Hydroponics 1-0-0) and ph balance this week was for 6.0 Next week I plan to top cut the branches again and change out the feeds with 350ppm at 6.0ph
