Mar 5 Starting some LST. Watering today for the second time with a little less than a gallon of water PH'd to 6.5.

Harvest day!!! Got her chopped and hung last night right on time at day 70. Her buds turned out nice and dense, smell amazing and heavy af. This was a wonderful grow! Managed to pull a good few seeds from the branch i pollenated with zkittles pollen (red tie in vid). There are more still in the bud too! I am looking forward to popping them down the line. I will update the harvest week with the hard numbers when she is dry. Happy growing all!!!

Beginning of week 4 in flowering and everything is coming along quite nicely. plants are loving there Remo nutes! just switched this tent over to a self watering drip system cause it was getting to be a real pain watering these girls by hand. Their siting in 7 gallon fabric pots and boy do they drink a mad amount of water/nutes! the pots are just packed with roots! really loving the Remo lineup of nutes so far! go Remo! Go Sports! Buds are starting to form nicely! Started to open up the bud sites a bit by tucking what i could but had to snip a few leaves up top to open a few lower sites up trying to get through.

It's amazing to think that this tiny sprout will one day be a beautiful, vibrant weed plant. I've nicknamed it Soap Tiny, and it's such a joy to watch it grow! Right now, it's just a few delicate leaves poking out of the soil, but I can't wait to see it reach its full potential. I have a feeling this little plant is going to bring me so much happiness.

cloudy days with 14 c min and 19 c max. Its flowering has been slow compared to other newspapers. The smell is already strong and continues to feed organically. She is flowering in 2 parts. Hello. Got the plants into the main grow room. There is 2 videos . In the first I just sit in the room quitly and turn the camera. you get a sense :) of what it's like in there. In the second I try to describe what's in the room, equipment and maybe a new technique. With the tomato cages I use, and needing the plant to slow down, I twist the stock into a large figure 8. Eventually I take off what is on the lower part of the 8, and just work the top of the 8. About 2 weeks in veg in this room. Then I take clones of everything before I switch to flower. >Carbon dioxide enhancement: I had to make that choice 20 years ago. I could, rent a tank and have my name on a list, at the gas store. Or make my own. They didn't have the small propane tanks like they do today for the blue flame you get when you burn it. I decided on a kerosene lamp burning down as low as it could be without going out. It makes a half blue and half yellow flame. I vent constantly so the small amount of carbon monoxide is not a problem. For the first week you can smell it a bit, but the smell disappears after that. I light the lamp in the morning and put it out at lights out (unless it's bed time). It needs to be put in a place in the room that cant get knocked over (pets, children, ?). I try to use extra attention whenever I use it. It can burn down the place. Be careful Please. >About 17 years ago I thought I'd lower my table by knocking a hole in the cement and dropping my 10 gallon reservoir more. I was able to lower it by 16 inches. Still have to watch the height of some plants though, it worked out well. Watch the video. > Air cleaner: The reason I got a big 8 inch exhaust fan was, I had a bout of powder mildew and needed better a exhaust system. When I plugged it in there was too much air moving. I phoned and asked and the salesman said that a dimmer switch wasn't a good idea. I put one on anyway. Works great. I have the fan barely on in the winter and about half way on in the middle of the summer. I haven't had any powdery mildew since. About 12 years ago I bought a good air cleaner. An ORECK, It has electrified plates that zap any organic particle or spore that come between the plates. Use to grow a Northern Lights that got 6 to 8 ounces per harvest, it grew big buds. Buds as big as my forearm. I had problems with gray mold attaching the buds. But none since I bought the air cleaner. Ya learn as you go.

The AK2.0 is rockin. She is flowering the strongest. She is near the light, because she is so tall., but it doesn't seem to affect her at all. Very good strain to grow no issues at all, just having some fun watching her bulk up quickly.

Ok, lets think about this logically - why are the leaves turning brown? it looks like a Calcium/Phosphorus issue, A LOT OF PEOPLE HAVE THIS , is it a deficiency??? Unlikely in Hydro as the solution is more effective as there are no contaminants, so this leads me to believe its a lockout, what can cause this ? 2 things = A) Too Much Nutrient Potassium or B) ph is too low - SO to rectify this, i have added more water to the reservoir and raised the ph to 6.3 As i am using more water in the reservoir its entirely possible that when the water goes down,even though the EC stays the same the proportional concentrations of each nutrient can change - for example EC pen says 2.0 when i first fill with 20 litres, the plant drinks 4 litres of water and consumes lots of bloom A+B so when i put my pen in two days later the 16 litres of solution still reads 2.0 but there is a higher proportion of PK. Of course it could always be option C) these plants eat phosphorus for breakfast and need more ..😜 I have checked roots they all ok Wednesday- changed solution , made it slightly weaker EC 1.7 ph 6.2-3 Thursday I had a little chat on Instagram with mammoth , i think they might need less than usual Saturday - noticed some yellowing on the little plant , it’s a confusing as th3 other plants are all using the same nutrients and they are loving life , it might be the buckets , I am much preferring the size of the 35 litre ones , and the root structure is perfect , because the 45 litre boxes are more rectangular than square the roots are sort of sideways . Still waiting for some purple on the tall one 🤔 ITS VERY IMPORTANT IN DWC - Do not automatically think you need to add nutrients , in DWC it’s so much more efficient that less is more , 99% of the time it’s overdone it , normally the tips go brown first , but it’s some circumstance s The concentration can increase without you knowing , FIRST change solution with a little bit less , I usually go to 1.6-1.7 EC TOTAL and 6.3 ph that is a universal solution that provides enough without overdoing it . Week 7 of 9 for Do-si-dos, this strain is running 1 week longer than the others. Overall she's the least nutrient hungry of the group and shows the least amount of deficiency. Still, I fed her and extra liter last week. August 1 - added close up pictures.
