The plants have grown very fast this week, easily doubling in size. I moved them closer to the light to 90 cm from 110cm. Watering as needed and I am keeping the soil surface moist with light watering twice a day. I have fed the plants twice this week. First with a half dosage humic + fulvic acids, microbial inoculant and Seagro. The second feeding was half dose Seagrow and Biobizz BioGrow with some CalMag and Silicon. I am preparing a compost tea with some added kelp meal, insect frass and worm castings for the next feeding before I start LST.

Wow. The buds are filling in. The trichomes are starting to pile onto the buds. There aren't many trichomes on the leaves yet, but the buds are thick. The high heat and low humidity has been a struggle. Lots of fan leaves losing the fight with heat, but the buds are looking great. This one is gonna be well over a pound. Well over

Early week 6 update (i'll add more pictures and comments as needed): Unfortunately I hit some challenges! Light got way too close and stunted growth for a day. I noticed it on tips closest to the light only. Raised lamp to 22 inches. Indica bagseed (plant in the center front) got too stacked: stuff like leaves on top of each other with lots of moisture, no light/airflow penetration, etc. I did some basic LST, leaf tucking, net tucking, to open her up and go sideways more a bit at first. It helped a bit. Unfortunately aug 27, had to get more aggressive on this beast and remove 3 shade leaves on the right side. not happy about defoliating, but had to do it. Will see how she takes it and then look at left side on a later day. Growing the first time is educational and actually therapeutic in today's world for me. I've already learned so many lessons for the net time: don't need such a yuge pot, lamp brightness/distance, air circulation!!! She has been stretching for 3 days and white pistols are every where :) if there’s sun out she goes out the garden and absolutely loves it, no light like sunlight :)

And off we went, the adventure with Zamnesia's F1 Hybrids started off great, with a stunning 100% germination 8/8 born without any hesitation after a very short time in water and subsequently in soil. She is exactly at the 10th, she is the Wurlz, she grows well regularly and very similar to the little twin. For the rest we have to say everything is going very well, the parameters are in order, the girls were born in a biodegradable jar which biodegraded a little earlier than expected and I proceeded with the potting, no repotting, be careful the seedling never came out of the jar biodegradable the roots pass it at a certain point of decomposition. So we are now in a comfortable 11 liter house that is perfect for autoflowering in my opinion. Unfortunately, the Zamnesia pots are about to arrive but I didn't have them in time, I preferred to repot them for the sake of the plants, we need to photograph them of course but first and foremost I'm a grower and I care about the health of my little girls. Something tells me we will be growing a lot of Zammi plants so we will use them in the Official Grower version next time. TUESDAY 7/23: The FIM'ing seems to have only doubled her main, but that's okay. She's going from Hawaii conditions to Arizona conditions every day...8-10 hour of 72f/70+%RH to 12-14 hours of 96f/35%RH and taking it like a champ. I foliar fed her after taking her outside today and started training her a little bit. Gonna try to get those tiny lower branches to think they have a shot at "primary cola" status. I had no wire with me, so I just used a pliable length of dead-ish vine that was lying on the ground. I'll use some wire and binder clips when I can find it.. Evening...same day: She broke the vine I was using to hold her down, so I dug around and found some clips and wire. WEDNESDAY: She was just about 4 inches beneath 120w of LED last night with tons of blue spectra, 69f temperature and 80% RH. Those lower branches gained another half inch each and the top colas have turned to face the sun. I foliar fed her and gave her a little douche of Bactrex this morning when I took her outside. Had a cool front come through today, so the high will just be 87f and it's dropping to the mid to low 60's tonight..hooray! They're forecasting another day or two like this before the return to "oven-like" conditions.👍 I carried my pole saw down to the site at daybreak and removed a few smaller branches above them and to the West. I'll see if it is allowing some evening sun to reach her when I go down there to fetch her home to the LED's for the evening. THURSDAY: I was somewhat successful with getting a little bit more direct sunlight to her while outside during the day..about another 20-25 extra minutes. She got a sip of compost tea today with a little kelp me kelp you and big bloom. I tweaked her indoor domain a bit..she's now got 2 x 12w Miracle LED veg bulbs (cool white with 475nm peak), 1 x 75w cool white/460nm 225LED panel, 1 x 40w Sansi daylight grow bulb, 1 x 50w 460nm/cool white flood, and 1 x 18w 18" pinkish grow light bar. None of the lights are more than 5 inches from her, so she's incredibly well lit. I'm estimating that it's about 5,000 micromoles an hour, but I'm keeping the temp at her canopy under 80f with 90+% RH. It's not direct sunlight, but I think she's happy. I'm still undecided as to whether I'll keep her on a 24/0 schedule or if I'll cut it back to 20/4 when she starts flowering. Since I can provide her with a cool and humid environment for a third of the day, I'm leaning towards running 24/0 the whole grow. FRIDAY: I accidentally burnt her up a little bit today..one of the overhead LED's slipped and was about an inch from her top leaves...oops..I put her outside and misted her with some boom boom spray and kelp me kelp you.. SATURDAY: She's got a few crispy leaves, but she perked up and is growing again...whew...😓 SUNDAY: I tweaked her indoor environment today. She's now got a 120w quantum board (3500k) overhead, a 24w panel with 225 x 660nm red LEDs, the 40w Sansi light, one 9w 2' bar grow light, and one 12w Miracle LED blue.

Day 14 of flower and all 4 plants have stretched over a foot in the last week. Should start putting all of their energy into flowering now. Looking really good so far. Really, really good.

It's doing it's normal tall Jack Herer growing. Definitely have to start training soon, she'll be going outside but I want to keep her shorter almost bush like. We'll see how that goes with a tall girl?!

So far this plant is looking good - it sprouted up nicely and now it’s starting to level off and put some growth into the first leaves! Just some info on the grow - I am growing in organic living soil. For the most part I use plain filtered water for my soil. There are somewhere between 300 -500 worms in the bed helping to keep things nice and happy! I also will plant a cover crop after I get my mainline built - I’ll let that cover crop get about six to eight inches tall and then I’ll smother that with straw which will give the worms and microbes in the soil a lot of yummy material to work with! The plants are lit up with a sweet COBB LED built by Timber Grow Lights - they’re the 3VL model which is 600 watts and dimmable from 10-100%. I currently have it set to about 20% and will ramp up later as I get towards flower. I’ll be keeping this updated - excited to log and share the process this time around!
