Well she is doing excellent!! The smell is like earth, kush. But the smell of the stems are sweet like citrus, orange type smell. So sweet. The main branches are really strong so that means I trained her well. The thricomes are showing beautiful. She really enjoys her place and she is showing that. I can see that the Green Sensation is doing great. She still is stretching out but not so hard. I think she is almost stretched out. Man it is so amazing to see the whole process.😀

25 days in to flowering. The garden is still looking very good and healthy.

Harvest update in 2 weeks or so :) I wanted to let them go a bit longer but the mildew was going to take over so I chopped the plants and rinsed them in water + H2O2. Lots of lessons learned ... Lots of bud hanging on the vine. Good luck to everyone

Grand Daddy Purple auto has germinated and sprouted. She does have some spots on first leaves. I might of got her wet on accident and left her under the light. I will watch if it continues. She had a light feed yesterday to help with keeping coco ph stable, and ready to thrive in. Beside the spots, everything is looking good. Start of week 4 Watered 8/25

Week 6 and my babies are still in veg 😥 but I'm sure next week they will finally flip! 😁 Now, what can I say about the girl that's on the back? - She has some really long leaves and those stems are thin if I compare them to other plants I've grown. - Some of her leaves look too shiny, dunno why! - The internodes are really short, which is good and she's VERY bushy. Perhaps she went thru some kind of deficiency and that's why she looks like that? Or maybe it's something else? No idea! The other hand, the other baby: - She's developing really well. Ahead of her sister and I'm sure she'll be the first one to flip! I mean, it looks like she's already developing some pre-flowers! :D - She's a little taller compared to her sister - The internodes are short and the leaves are huge! They are also slightly darker compared to her sister. I reinforced the LST on both of my girls and I both tucked the leaves (a lot) and defoliated the plants just a little. What a beautiful strain Orange Hill Special is, nice and bushy, great internodal spacing, sturdy and healthy. Happier and happier with how this grow is going. The less beautiful parts on top are my doing, my blind as a bat FIM destroyed half the top of the plant. More patience next time... The super soil is still performing great and I´m pushing up the dimmer to get the ladies used to more light, very carefully because leaves are folding every time. Some of you might be happy to find my European recipe/shopping list for super soil. I tried to make it with widely offered products throughout Europe. Feel free to use it and elaborate on it. If one product is not available in your country, please check the brands at the bottom, which might be available in your country, and substitute. The only thing one could add to the recipe (which I did but forgot in the shopping list) is some Epsom salt. Fed them again with my permaculture tea, all seem to flourish and smells are starting to come from the plant, with that same distinct dankiness I had in earlier grows with this tea. See the germination page and other diaries for more info on my Perma tea. Now they were big enough, some might even say too big, to start the real training. I always love to give them a little bend the week before, to get used to the idea. With some sterilized bamboo sticks I pushed the plants down to expose their sexy undersides. Defoliation week. Cleaned up under the canopy, and clipped the subpar Bud sites under the canopy. Foliar spray in use until end of week 4. Started to drop the temp to simulate changing of the seasons. 70*f during lights on, about 63*f lights out. Start of the week had an issue with the tent. After watering, the tent humidity went up to 90%. I have my Humidifier set to keep VPD between .8 and 1.2 and the system was trying to balance out between temp and humidity. Got cold one night. 3 days into this week and I haven't watered since last week. Soil still has plenty of water in it.
