Hello, my wonderful green-thumbed friends! Welcome to the Week 5 veg report for our fabulous P.C.R.s. This week has been all about new beginnings and meticulous care, as we continue to nurture these beauties towards their full potential. Let’s dive in! New Home, Sweet Home This week, our P.C.R.s made the big move to their new 3x3 tent, and boy, do they love it! Under the bright and consistent light of the ViparSpectra P2000, these plants are set to thrive. The P2000 is a game-changer, offering a full spectrum that mimics natural sunlight, ensuring our plants get the best light for every stage of their growth. It’s like bringing a slice of the sun indoors! Leaf Love and Clones We also took some leaves and cuts this week to encourage bushier growth and to propagate new plants. Each cut was carefully treated with Clonex Gel, a rooting hormone that gives our clones the best start. Think of it as a nutrient-packed smoothie for our cuttings, providing all they need to develop strong, healthy roots. To keep our new clones happy and hydrated, we used Clonex Mist, which is like a gentle rain shower, supplying essential nutrients and promoting robust root development. It’s all about giving them the TLC they need to become the next generation of thriving plants. TLC and Maintenance With the move, I made sure to maintain the optimal environment inside the tent. Our TDS is holding steady at 410, with a pH of 5.8 and a temperature of 21°C for watering. These parameters are crucial for nutrient uptake and overall plant health, ensuring our P.C.R.s have everything they need to flourish. Day 85 Day 35 Flower 26/07/24 Friday Big feed again today, using de-chlorinated tap water pH 6. 😁 I noticed slight nute burn on leaf tips so I have dialled back all base nutrients by 1ml. Day 86 Day 36 Flower 27/07/24 Saturday De-chlorinated tap water pH 6 only today full 5L a little run off. Did it outside in the sunshine again today 🌞📸💚 Updates 📸 Day 87 Day 37 Flower 28/07/24 Sunday Feed again today, De-chlorinated tap water pH 6. She took the full 5L with about 10% run off. She really is stacking now 💪 Day 88 Day 38 Flower 29/07/24 Monday Just de-chlorinated tap water pH 6 today. Noticing pistils starting to mature. Video update Day 89 Day 39 Flower 30/07/24 Tuesday Nice feed again today, de-chlorinated tap water pH 6. Really throwing out trichomes now, density is getting better as well. Day 90 Day 40 Flower 31/07/24 Wednesday De-chlorinated tap water pH 6 only today. Full 5L again she's taking this daily now ,😅💚 Day 91 Day 41 flower 01/08/24 Thursday End of week Feed today using de-chlorinated tap water pH 6 added nutes brought it up to 6.2. She just keeps stacking, think I got a fast flower... Or the heat is a little high and just prolonging her process. May start flushing next week we will see.

So, with these interesting times and what is becoming a fast evolving global catastrophe. I, myself, along with the rest of you ( I hope ) can take some solace in looking after our gardens, to have some peace away from the news, to give our ladies the best care we are able to provide 🌱 If you ever needed any vindication or validation as to why growing your own is best. More than half the world currently in lockdown, and with MJ in short supply, our actions speak for themselves! Anyway, back to this diary. I done a lot of work on the room, invested a lot and tried to make everything as automated as possible. Everything runs on smart plugs, the hydroponic system is DIY and is RDWC which is cooled with a Hailea 150a. 6 plants is what I am going for this time, with a shorter veg length compared to the last grow. I prefer to wait until they show their sex, but if they don’t by week 5, I plan on flipping anyway all being well. I am using 730nm LED’s that come on 15 mins before lights on, turn off during lights on, and then they come back on when lights go out, and stay on for 15 mins. This should enable me to run 13/11 during flower with little risk. I am also going to add a UVB fixture to my custom rig which will only be used during the final 2 weeks of flower. I have 3 Alibaba lights attached to a custom rig, they really are awesome lights. I tested the room out with an Apogee SQ-520 par meter (PAR map in pics). I have dimmed them down, so PAR is around 500 across the whole canopy, this will be increased to 1000 once they’re flipped. I vent from my house, to the room and then outside, this increases the CO2 in the room, which I think helped the yields on the last grow, generally CO2 hovers between 470 and 700 PPM. My ladies look a little sick, but tbh, I struggle starting out in Rockwool, and things usually correct themselves within a couple weeks. With the quarantine I have struggled to pick up a humidifier that is capable of maintaining that room, so it has been all over the place since the start. I have opted to go with Royal Gorilla this cycle, let’s see if it’s as potent as RQS says that it is! Good luck all and take care...

Week 6 already, we will add some extra PK until week 7 more or less as this strain has a little longer flowering, the buds are starting to look great, they are getting bigger and longer week by week!

Day 72 - Starting week 11 and all I great, really frosty and getting nice and plump. Just counting down till I can chop and the way things are going, I’ll be doing it next weekend. Only seen a couple clear trichs in there and mostly milky! Hoping that by next weekend she’ll be full of amber and if not, I’ll let her go a bit longer. Day 73 - Gave her her last “feeding” today, mixed 5ML of MagiCal and 80ML of Sugardaddy to 2 gallons of water. She’ll probably only get one more watering of plain water this week and let her dry up until chop day. Day 74 - Nothing new today, just some updated pictures. She is definitely starting to fade pretty quickly, just need her to make it about 5 more days. Day 75 - Not seeing any clear trichs anywhere, all milky and starting to get more and more amber’s mixed in there. So looking like everything is on track for a weekend chop. She’ll get one more round of plain water tomorrow and let her dry up from there. Day 76 - Gave the girl her last drink of plain pH’d water tonight and gonna let her dry out from now until chop day and looking like I’ll cut her down Saturday sometime. Day 77 - End of week 11 and her last full week alive. Trichs are starting to amber up quite a bit and she’ll be getting the axe on Saturday. Gotta get a new jewelers loupe so I can get some pictures.

I really didn't expect these buds to explode like they did! This Sugar Black Roses looks soooo good and no deficiencies as far as i can tell! The Dyna-Gro and Jacks Classic Citrus mix is great! Got this nute schedule/mix from reading RM3 aka Riddleme's grows and guides/books on forums and his own forum which has his book posted.

First week of Veg is done after the propagator tent. Clones looking good so far - getting healthy again. Startet LST.

Time flies, we have arrived in a flash at day 16, it seems like the other day that the first young ladies were appearing on September 1st. "Do you remember.....nanannana Septermber" She is the Karen Kush, a brand new strain with almost no previous cultivation, it has a crazy name and from the first weeks of growth it actually seems a bit crazy. Low internodal distance, regular growth. I made a small mistake, I personally went a bit easy with the growth fertilizer and there is a slight beginning of nitrogen deficiency, but we solve it immediately by giving the normal doses, don't worry. Usually I am in line with the table now I was slightly under with the grow and I did wrong. Let it be clear that if you see a slight fading, next week you will not see it anymore. --- feeding program - As I mentioned I was shy with fertilization and the seedlings are slightly, very slightly faded, let's learn to notice these small signs and with the normal doses after two or three waterings we should be fine. Week 5 flower going well. Nothing much to report. Increased the drip as she is taking in more water. Turned up the fans to 100% for maximum flow, and due to that, the tent got a bit warmer and a bit dryer, so the exhaust fan and humidifier are working a bit harder. 75-77 deg F, 50-60% RH. Not sure if the lights are to intense or if it’s purple coming through, but at the highest tops there seems to be a bit of discolouration on the newest growth, just at the tips of the new buds. But I’m looking really close and it may be purple, not brown. I’ll keep an eye on it and turn the lights down if symptoms worsen. This plant is growing strong and uniform. Average frost so far. Hopefully she keeps growing well until the end. Thanks for the views…keep calm and grow on!

10/10/2022 - 64 days since my little girl sprouted from seeds🌱 Fifth week of flowering for my Bruce Lemon Diesel 🍋⛽🌻 Nutrients: Jungle Indabox - this week I keep serving and adding Jungle Indabox Environ X - bud stimulator 🌼🌸🌼 Advanced Nutrients - Big Bud - I canceled the bud stimulator mix and stayed with Jungle Indabox because the girls got a little burnt, the classic brown color appeared on the tips of the leaves 🍃🍂 I stuck with Bud Candy, all my girls need plenty of carbs 🍭🍭 Atami - ATA Calmag - when growing under LED lights it is recommended to use Calmag and Atami is an excellent brand Training: With Orange Sherbet, I didn't do as much defoliation as with BCN, it wasn't necessary, I mainly cut off the large leaves that shade the light 🍃🍃 LST: some of the strings I used to attach the twigs to the edge of the flower pot loosened, so I had to re-tie them 🌴🌴 Light: Believe - the best light of sponsor Mars Hydro TS 1000 💡💡 In general: The plant is strong, manages nutrients well, absorbs as needed. The buds form along the entire length of the branches, they are dense and it is already clear that there will be many of them.
