Fat Banana doubles in size this week and starts to develop some true leaves. Taken out of the humidity dome & moved a lot closer to the CFL now, roughly 4-5 inches. Roots looking healthy and developing nicely, will be transplanting in the coming week to a slightly larger pot when I'll also introduce some 1/4 strength veg nutes.

Goin to let her grow, for another couple of weeks. Will keep an eye on the trichomes and cut 1 plant if she is ready. Will let the thin one grow larger... less CBD %, but more harvest! The one is gettin fat 🤩❤️😛

Esa familia, otra cosecha más, no tan contento esta vez la variedad en si está buena pero su cultivo es algo complicado y no está estabilizada la genética, los días de floración son más de 55 días como dice el banco,más de 3 meses de floración con estos ejemplares... Pero mereció la pena esperar el colocón es bastante fuerte, para mi que , sativa dominante a mi parecer, 24% de thc , cruzada entre cookies x OG Kush , muy productora en general. Así esto es todo , pronto más trabajos, buenos humos familia.

I had a good week with this plant. This strain really stretched out during the last few weeks of veg, I had to move my grapes and cream plant into my closet 😂.

This grow was full of great smells, tastes, and beautiful looking buds with a harvest time of only 10 weeks. Yeah, I would have liked the buds to have came out more dense in some locations, however with such a short life cycle and exotic visuals this strain offers its a good compromise. I was surprised this strain did so well while in hydroponics given its sensitivity to nutrients, but I think the fast earlier growth DWC offers allowed it to sustain. I'm looking forward to doing this strain again with a better nitrogen scheduling and using Great White Mycorrhizae from the start to see how dense we can get these buds. These are the type of buds you can't find in a dispensary anywhere and if your lucky enough to you will be paying top dollar to walk out with them. The start of the week is going well.Did some defoliation. Added a scrog net. I removed the scrog the next day, might use it if the buds need support. There’s no way to add the rabbit poo to the nutrients accurately all I did was top dress the soil with a few scoops and worked it in the soil lightly. Water with distilled water.

Our Green Cure CBD has started to flower, the main lining here worked really well, the plant is getting nice and big and the branches and flowers are going up really really well. The plant is a specimen with a medium-wide internodal distance, I managed to work it quite well. I managed to send it a bit over as you can see from the yellow tips but the quality of the flower will not be affected. We need some cbd in our lives. We are still using soil, feeding and all the recommended additives from Plagron 100% organic. We have moved on to the flowering start schedule that keeps the same Power Roots additives - Sugar Royal, Pure Zym and adds the flowering stimulant dear in my house for obvious reasons of Biscotti. Of course the basic fertilizer is now Alga Bloom. The Green Sensation when the flowers are already a bit swollen, do not start immediately. Day: ~25C T. Night: ~21.5C Humidity: ~57% T.leaf: 24.5C Week progress. Two slow plants are still lagging behind, the video shows what a variety of phenotypes, it is very difficult to grow. I plan to harvest in a week, afraid that if I'll do not cut then buds will start to turn yellow. I probably won't keep the two lagging plants longer because the box is needed for drying. The smell is similar to sweet strawberries.

Day 37 - Did a little defoliating, I’m really hoping it doesn’t stunt her too much. Guess time will tell! Day 38 - Everything seems to be ok after defoliating a bit yesterday, just feeding and waiting on her to really start flowering! Day 39 - No major changes with her, still growing like a weed. Day 40 - Still looking good. Day 41 - Just waiting on her to start flowering. Pistils are popping but no budding yet. Day 42 - Growing like a weed for sure! Really starting to stretch. Think she might be starting to flower finally. Hopefully, cause she’s gonna outgrow the tent if she keeps stretching!

Today 7/30/19, day 57 and the start of week 9. I'm still continuing to alternate between days with my pesticide treatment (especially after finding that bug living on one of hulkberries fan leaf) and thrive alive green daily foliage spray as a prophylactic solution against any possible pests or mold going into these last few dog days of veg. I will flush them with distilled ph'd water for two days this weekend in preparation for flower. Then I'll start them on some "flower fuel" bloom booster on top of my secret for success flower recipe at 1/4 of the recommended strength. Outside of that still no adverse issue to report for the end of the 8th week. After my last trim, they both have responded very nicely, I was kind of worried about fat banana stalled growth. But one thing I noticed when I topped her at the 6th node, yes the main stem stopped growing but it developed many bud sites up and down every stem. Whereas hulkberry was topped at the 8th node, she has mainly focused on developing long stems and only 2 or 3 bud sites along her stems. Even though hulkberry in structure, is much bigger than fat banana and has a way bigger root system. Fat banana is bushier and has developed way more bud sites than hulkberry. I can't tell which strain will yield the most at this point only time will tell! Also, a big shout out to "J"@RQS, thank you for the excellent customer service. Another reason why Royal Queen Seeds is top 3 in breeding!!

Ok, lets think about this logically - why are the leaves turning brown? it looks like a Calcium/Phosphorus issue, A LOT OF PEOPLE HAVE THIS , is it a deficiency??? Unlikely in Hydro as the solution is more effective as there are no contaminants, so this leads me to believe its a lockout, what can cause this ? 2 things = A) Too Much Nutrient Potassium or B) ph is too low - SO to rectify this, i have added more water to the reservoir and raised the ph to 6.3 As i am using more water in the reservoir its entirely possible that when the water goes down,even though the EC stays the same the proportional concentrations of each nutrient can change - for example EC pen says 2.0 when i first fill with 20 litres, the plant drinks 4 litres of water and consumes lots of bloom A+B so when i put my pen in two days later the 16 litres of solution still reads 2.0 but there is a higher proportion of PK. Of course it could always be option C) these plants eat phosphorus for breakfast and need more ..😜 I have checked roots they all ok Wednesday- changed solution , made it slightly weaker EC 1.7 ph 6.2-3 Thursday I had a little chat on Instagram with mammoth , i think they might need less than usual Saturday - noticed some yellowing on the little plant , it’s a confusing as th3 other plants are all using the same nutrients and they are loving life , it might be the buckets , I am much preferring the size of the 35 litre ones , and the root structure is perfect , because the 45 litre boxes are more rectangular than square the roots are sort of sideways . Still waiting for some purple on the tall one 🤔 ITS VERY IMPORTANT IN DWC - Do not automatically think you need to add nutrients , in DWC it’s so much more efficient that less is more , 99% of the time it’s overdone it , normally the tips go brown first , but it’s some circumstance s The concentration can increase without you knowing , FIRST change solution with a little bit less , I usually go to 1.6-1.7 EC TOTAL and 6.3 ph that is a universal solution that provides enough without overdoing it .
