I know for sure PGC#2 will be ready far before the rest but we will check all of them none the less. As we reach the race for the finish line Im very pleased with what i've accomplished with these plants this grow! Banana Krumble still thickening up but displaying more orange pistols , she's gonna be a 70 - 77 day girl but I'll get big rewards! PGC#1 ripening up daily! Recap: Over all things went super well this week! We harvested the smallest plant in the room and ended up with almost 500G of wet weight roughly 6-7 ounces off that plant dry, she smells very very gassy with light hints of candy and fruit very pleasing combination to say the least. We are coming up on the finish line quickly for this project Im excited to see what the other plants will yield!

********Week 1 Flower - Sept 19 to 25, 2020******* We switched to flower this week and put in the first SCROG layer.....been busy😃 These girls have some very thick main branches and are pushing out some huge fan leaves💪 They were easily stretched out horizontally to fill in the net and the topping helped to keep the canopy at an even height. The girls are in the same tent as another strain that is known to grow big and will benefit from a SCROG. I don’t feel these girls necessarily need one though. To combat this I decided to set the Cream 47 on boxes before putting in the netting. I set them on boxes which put them 10” taller than Gorilla Girls......may still not have been enough but that is what we are running with🤞😃 Pest maintenance this week as we are getting the last days I am able to comfortably spray the girls. Lost Coast Plant Therapy to keep the gnats, aphids and thrips in check😃 Had a small mishap this week and a damn fan fell on one side of C471 while opening the tent. The net helped to not make this more disastrous but it still set her back a day or two. She has bounded back now and that side of her is coming back and getting taller. At the end of the week I finally gave in and started to pull some of the upper fan leaves😗😗 There is so much leaf in this little 3’ x 3’ tent that it is impacting airflow.......would love a 4‘ x 4’😃 They have reacted very well to the removing of the leaves and those branches are standing up taller and look more healthy the next day!! Keeping the waterings up and getting a fair bit of runoff from the feedings but that is best for Coco to avoid lockouts and pH issues. There were only three feeding days this week. We switched to bloom nutes for base and added silica for supplementals. Vitamin B and Kelp coming from B52 and sweetener for the microbes from bud candy. As well as Sensyzime to let the enzymes clean up the root zone because they have been in the pots for a few weeks now. Little more detail: Sept 19/20 - Day 1 - Plant Therapy @ 5ml in 1L water. Ph to 5.4. - Folier spray applied to whole tent half hour before lights on, used 3/4 of mixture - Feeding mixture was Sensyzime @ 1ml only - 25ppm and 5.2pH......missed it a bit. - each girl given 3L - SCROG put in Sept 20/20 - Day 2 - Sprayed the last of the IPM mixture on the tent tonight. - Noticed several small shinny spots on leaves later today.....suspect from Folier spray on leaves. Sept 21/20 - Day 3 - Nice full strength week 1 mixture applied today - Rhino Skin, Cal Mag @ 2ml, Sensi Bloom A&B , B52, Bud Ignitor, Bud Candy @ 1ml. - 625 ppm and 5.7pH - 3L given to each girl.......not enough runoff.....bump feedings up to 4L going forward. - silica added today. - freaking fan dropped on C471 today in the one corner🤬 Could have been worse👌 Sept 23/20 - Day 5 - CalMag @ 2ml, Rhino, Sensi Bloom A&B, B52, Bud Candy, Bud Ignitor @ 1ml. - 850ppm and 5.9pH - 4L given to each girl. - better run off amount That wraps up the first week of flower........Cream 47 was more of a transition week while Gorilla Girl was well in flower. The net is in and the lights flipped. The girls were ready for flower and now we just need to keep giving them what they want for the next 6 weeks and then coast from there👍 Hopeful they will find another 12” of growth in them but not sure they will stretch that much in the net....time will tell. How did you create/breed Freakshow? A. Methodical selection, line breeding, and culling is the short answer. Read our About page for more details. Q. Is it an indoor or outdoor type? A. Everything I've ever worked has been outdoors, including of course Freakshow. It has been our experience that outdoor (or sun grown, as it's recently being referred to) cultivars seem to perform extremely well under artificial conditions. This is true of seed starts or clones made from seed starts. The opposite is not always true; indoor clones often give an outdoor grower headaches because they don't always make the transition smoothly. This is due to light spectrum, temperature, and/or photoperiod changes. Yes, Freakshow will do exceedingly well indoors, and will thrive and mature just fine in a wide variety of natural environments as well, so it's definitely both and I think might even prove to be more resilient to those sorts of transitions. Q. What are the potency and terpenoid levels? A. Average 18-20% THCa, THC; negligible CBD, CBN with terps variable, averaging 2.5-3.5, primarily limonene and pinene, but this is variable, there was a lot of diversity in terp combinations and compositions in all the prior generations, it's just something that was left "as is" for now. The different parallel lines that we are developing can be directed in a few different pathways flavorwise. Q. Why are the seeds white? A. Why is the sky blue? No, the mature seeds are shrouded by a rice paper thin membrane which has coloring and mottling on it, but it's so fragile that it disintegrates in the process of shucking. Stripped of the outer layer the seeds are very pale, nearly white. It came as no surprise that this plant would have abnormal seeds. Q. Is it a GMO? A. Wow...? Well, it's seriously "modified" and the modifications are definitely genetic, and it is an organism. (Genuinely Modified Organically!) Uh, no. No radiation, no recombinant DNA, no gene splicing or editing, no TALEN or CRISPR! These biotechnologies don't belong in the food and medicine plant industries. Sadly, in the near future it will become commonplace and widespread in cannabis and other medicinal plants as it is already is with food crops and ornamentals. I'll avoid discussion on this topic for now, but we hope some people enjoy consuming Frankenbud! Q. What's the floral period length? A. 8-9 wks, finishes early Oct. at most latitudes and elevations. Q. Is it a big producer? A. Freakshow will produce nice, fat, dense colas (see gallery) with remarkable trichome coverage, and you can expect yields according to your veg. time, root space, and general knowledge and expertise as a gardener. The same set of variables apply to expected outcomes regarding cannabinoid levels and terpene profiles. Q.What is the lineage? A. (Bigbud x Skunk#1) x (Big Sur Holy Weed x Banana Kush). NLD("Sativa") dominant, but the afghanica influence is apparent. I'm pretty sure that Freakshow contains some Trainwreck and some Maui Wowie based on some research I did on the origins of the Pineapple Express. Interestingly Big Sur Holyweed, OG Kush, Banana, Trainwreck, and Maui Wowie are all of unclear origins. We have to remember that these are all just names and that they don't really mean much. The exact heritage of any cultivar today is impossible to determine accurately. Also, considering the amount of continuous shameless hybridization that has occurred in the last 40 yrs., any modern kind could easily contain over 40 kinds. In the case of Freakshow, it's much more limited because the ancestry is largely older "Sativas" that didn't go through as much outcrossing. In the 70s in Santa Cruz, Haze was a favorite among surfers for the pure energy and I still have (greatly improved) stock of it around, simply because even when I made hybrids with it I always kept the original in pure form for obvious reasons. Q. What is the psychoactive effect like? A. Like the flavors, many people have commented that the "buzz" is somewhat different than other mainstream types out there. It's not entirely out of the scope of imagination that given that this strain has new alleles in so many other respects, that it could also contain new, unique cannabinoids, as well as new and unique terpenoids, some of which may not even be among the standard 16 or so that the average lab is testing for. Aside from the up, cerebral, energetic boost, some report a mild time/space warp effect. Creativity and idea induction should be mentioned, for sure. Freakshow has the pure energy effect and greatly alters perception to the positive side, so definitely destroys depression. Appetite suppression is a side effect, but the enjoyment of food is enhanced. I personally will attest to all of the above. We all have different receptor profiles, so these are just generalizations. Couch unlock. Q. Is it pest and mildew resistant? A. Indeed it is. On many occasions in the last few years, it has been observed that when pest and mildew issues were affecting other plants adjacent to in the vicinity of Freakshow plants, for unknown reasons the freaks remained entirely unaffected. This includes 0botritis, PM, various mites and insects, soil fungus, etc. We haven't heard any complaints along those lines so far, so if anyone has any problems, especially with a rigorous IPM regimen in place, we would like to hear about it. And if anyone can attest to the extreme level of resistance it seems to have we'd love to hear about that as well. Q. Does it contain web-leaf genetics? A. I thought I better clarify this because there are a few people thinking that because of an article "Growing Marijuana that Doesn't look like Marijuana" that mentions that I had worked web-leaf types years ago and had eventually turned that into Freakshow. This is incorrect and I'm needing to get ahold of the writer to have him change it. When I read the piece and saw the mistake I figured it didn't matter that much, that the actual method of breeding could just remain a "trade secret". Recently, I noticed online that a posting, "Freakshow only exists because of duckfoot" by Curious Cannabis Connoisseur, where he explains how I developed Freakshow using Duckfoot. Let me explain, about 20 yrs. ago a friend gave me a jar of seeds labeled "BC Bigbud" and I sprouted flats of hundreds to look for oddities and had found one web-leaf pheno which we named Webster. It was a female so I bred it to a normal leaf male and began selecting and stabilizing a line of Webster. About 5 or 6 generations later I had nailed it to 100% webs and had also stabilized it for a deep purple color and a nice "gingerbread" terp profile. I was busy working other lines at that point so I put Webster in the library. Also, I was having a hell of a time getting a pheno of it that flowered to my satisfaction. (it seemed to finish with a limited number of calyxes). I knew I would have to outcross it to something with a big tasty bud and restabilize it for web-leaf, and I no longer had the original BC Bigbud. I still have the Webster seeds, and trust me the thought has crossed my mind to make the cross with Freakshow, but why? Why mess around crossing things just to create something even weirder? I have heard that the "Duckfoot" also doesn't bud up well so maybe there's a correlation there. Anyway, people can do what they want to and I will too, but crossing Freakshow with some low-THC crap like ABC is in my opinion idiotic. I worked extremely hard stabilizing and perfecting a beautiful new subspecies and I believe it should be kept pure. I won't go on a rant here about the rampant crossing and the lack of line-breeding in the cannabis world in the last several decades, or where this will eventually lead us, but I will say that it's not in a good direction. Bottom line....Freakshow has no web-leaf genes, it was made using top-grade tropical narrow-leaf drug (NLD) cultivars. Q.Why is Freakshow patented? A. Although I and most others (including all the folks at HSC) believe in and subscribe to the concept of "open sourcing" because sharing in cannabis genetics was always the cultural norm, it was decided that Freakshow should be protected (1) because it is a novel and unique, not a preexisting strain (or even subspecies), (2) To keep the greedy corporate big boys from exploiting it, (3) To maintain control of the genetic refinement of it in all future generations. This weather's been crazy! We've been stuck in this deep freeze for over a week now. The temperature hasn't climbed above freezing for like 10 days – it's brutal out there. And to make things worse, with all this cold, the humidity's been acting weird. It's really hard on the plants, especially without the sun to help them dry out a little. "My Gas Tax x Obama Runtz plant is totally killing it right now! After a rough patch, it's finally starting to thrive. The leaves are this super bright green, and I can't believe how many flower buds I'm seeing. It's so rewarding to watch it bounce back." Harvested on 11/6. I let them cure for a month, and if I can keep my paws off them a while longer, I suspect they'll taste even better...gets more dank every day. Plant A: 52g - the frostiest of the 3 plants, and also has the best flavor.. She had a few nanners that i left to do their thing. Hopefully I get some cool hybrids out of the closet. Plant B: 73g - She seemed like the biggest plant but was a little less dense than the other bigger one. A little less pungent smelling than the others, but still tastes great. Plant C: 73g - very dense and sticky buds...aroma is outstanding Of the strains I grew this run, the SP comes in a close second to Wedding Cheesecake. Not only WILL I grow it again, I already have another one growing in my tent right now....good shit.👍 Final thoughts: Aroma: 10/10 Flavor: 10/10 Potency: 8/10 Yield: 7/10 Bag-appeal: 8/10 Bud density: 7/10

Ms Mia Wallace went to town and blew the f up. Lots of leaf growth but no sign of bud spots- I know it’s early days tho. Watered with half serving of bloom nutes. Not the ideal nute mix I think, but served me well last grow. Also, as I turned up the light to max power, I noticed heat stress so i turned it down and successfully installed the worlds most eco friendly trellis - one minute- hockey net - next minute - weed trellis. It’s called upcycling boys and girls. I know it’s shit, I’m gonna reinstall it one more 1/4 ass so it’s a full half-ass scrog. Point is, the canopy is flat, pushed that puppy down so there’s more distance. Light back to 100%. Humidity was a little higher under the canopy, even with the dehumidifier, so I put my inline fan back in (was just a booster in-line fan before) and the temp and humidity is dropping. Saw a little bug. Hit the top & bottom canopy layer with light neem oil spray then incecticidle soap. I saw a small critter so I put Diatomaceous Earth on a upside down Tupperware lid. Don’t know if that works. Last time I did a top coat of the stuff on top of the soil - something happened and bad nute burn. Anyone know anything about this? Finally, also tied down a bunch of branches to let the light hit the lower areas. Otherwise a few little things were done like yellow boards against sciarid mosquitoes and blue boards to prevent tripods. have fun with the update. Week 14 for Gelato 41 by seedstockers This girl has absolutely loved the rain😇 It was very heavy rain too so the pot is easily saturated... honestly don't remember the last time i had to water her😂 was maybe 3/4 weeks ago & don't plan on doing so any time soon either. I tried to defoliate a little because she's getting overly bushy but found to be harder to do than i expected need her to gain some height so i can easily spot what to remove. Even though she looks sad after being sprayed down with water it will benefit her in the long run toughening up her branches from the weight when it comes to flower time. Need to measure her but she's not too far from the 2meters wide mark i was aiming for. No pest issues think the predator spiders are taking care of that for me😎

Day 29. No feed still. I spray them with Bio Heaven and CalMag light mix, sometimes adding a bit of Silica acid too. All not higher than 1ml/L. Think this week I will try to push best ones, smallest coming up too, but very slow, droped them to the shade and don't put any hopes into them. Day 33. Did little repositioning, space looks better now I think, plus big plants should be happier. Spray spray spray ;)))) Happy Growing !!!

Beginning of week 6. Northern is getting very thick and burly. The gorilla clones are all iced in trichomes, very sticky. I love it, but very fluffy for some reason. I mean they look awesome and smoke is incredible too since these are clones and I remember they looked exactly the same at 7 weeks under 400w hps lumatek setup. 3 weeks left so hoping for better results this time :) CBD danceworld is doing ok, like I said in comments somewhere I don’t expect much from cbd strains in terms of yield. In few months I will be running medical mass just to see if I can get a decent yield as RQS advertises this strain as heavy yielder. Will see about that :) other than that no probs whatsoever.
