Getting tasty

Day late on the update, pics/vids were taken on time tho just been a crazy week of harvests and trimming and keeping up with these. Reason I went with Rain Science is because they offer identical air flow for rapid growth as the radicle bags, just using a different material and a tighter knit so water doesnt flood out the sides during feeds and when you pick these up when the coco is dry, it wont fly all over the tent like with the radicles. They're the optimal bag for autoflowers especially. These are the 3 in the back they are growing perfectly so far

Gorilla cookies is a beast of a plant it can easily fill up a 4x4 with one plant if done right. Really thick white tricombs strong smells big colas. What else can you ask for a good plant all around

Today 7/30/19, day 57 and the start of week 9. I'm still continuing to alternate between days with my pesticide treatment (especially after finding that bug living on one of hulkberries fan leaf) and thrive alive green daily foliage spray as a prophylactic solution against any possible pests or mold going into these last few dog days of veg. I will flush them with distilled ph'd water for two days this weekend in preparation for flower. Then I'll start them on some "flower fuel" bloom booster on top of my secret for success flower recipe at 1/4 of the recommended strength. Outside of that still no adverse issue to report for the end of the 8th week. After my last trim, they both have responded very nicely, I was kind of worried about fat banana stalled growth. But one thing I noticed when I topped her at the 6th node, yes the main stem stopped growing but it developed many bud sites up and down every stem. Whereas hulkberry was topped at the 8th node, she has mainly focused on developing long stems and only 2 or 3 bud sites along her stems. Even though hulkberry in structure, is much bigger than fat banana and has a way bigger root system. Fat banana is bushier and has developed way more bud sites than hulkberry. I can't tell which strain will yield the most at this point only time will tell! Also, a big shout out to "J"@RQS, thank you for the excellent customer service. Another reason why Royal Queen Seeds is top 3 in breeding!!

Daaaayum hot week last week, worried about 2 plants showing some wierd main buds, but it’s hopefully the heat. Smell is pretty nice and got some juicy fruits growing on them trees! ❤️

This is the start of week 8 of flower The girls are just about done now going to let them ripen for another week then going to snip a lower bud off to check under the microscope to see if they done The top colas are chunky with the lower buds around the size of golf balls, the left tree has solid buds and the right tree has less so solid buds. I can smell some amazing aroma emanating from the tent like a gassed up orange HAHAHA, When you agitate the plants they reek like skunk. One of my favourite plants to grow so far. I learned a TREMENDOUS amount, especially all the ins and outs of supercropping. Although I did end up breaking my stalk, she turned out quite nice! I can definitely see myself supercropping plants in the future just to play around. The terpenes are also really nice on this girl. I can't wait to make some bubble hash and rosin. And I generally can't wait to grow this girl again knowing what she needs now in terms of training. Will also be nice to see the difference with organic dry amendments vs the FF wet nutrients I used.

Day 73 since seed touched soil. How amazing she smells, wrote even to MSNL acc, both strains will be GOD's FOOD , i can guarantee it now. Waved/shook few tops to understand how heavy they are and later hands were full of lemony stink, hard to describe, but really tropical gassy ;))) This grow is strange, Cookie now lacks feeding a lot, pales quickly , i see sighns of finishing already, but by bud look and structure - my guess is that she still has 3 weeks to go. Mars Hydro TSL2000 is giving her all power she needs, hopefully those colas will fatten up ! Happy Growing !!!

Day 49 Flower Hey Growers. I did a flush last week to get my runoff closer to 1050. I’m not sure why this happens that I get tip burn doing FFW. Maybe I start ramping up flower nutes too much too quickly. I have tip burn on my Blue Dream too. I’ve gotta come up with a solution as it buggers everything up. Flushing and Dealing with tip burn instead of packing on size. This is a 10 wk strain so I’m not as concerned cuz there’s lots of time and I think I got ahead of it. The nugs are smaller, marble to golf ball sized but hard as a rock already. The smell is of over ripe lemon when it get that sweet and Hazey earthy woody characteristic. I’m going to feed 2 more weeks and try the Advanced Nutrient Overdrive that I have kicking around. Then flush heavy for 1 ish weeks and hopefully get a nice fade. The Vipar spectra XS2000 is doing a great job, it has me wondering if I could use it to flower a 4x4 of autos. Its super strong. My poor man’s light mover has the plants getting a ton of light every other day with a nice rest in between. There is no light burn or yellowing, a tiny bit of leaf edge curl that goes away during its rest day. I am very happy with this light and know it’ll blow up whatever I run in here next. Big big week. First part of the week popped off a few bud sites. Hate to see them go since this is going to be a low yielder anyway. But I have a vision for it. As you can see in the photos. She started flowering mid week which was expected due to the very high stress and her being an auto. Also ROOT REVEAL. Yep you get a sneak peek at to what is below. I'm also working the soil and the roots to help dry them out and hopefully be strong enough to hold her up. The roots for all the way down so we "should" be good to go. Fingers crossed 🤞 Still just feeding water since I added soil to the sided for her to feed on. I have been doing a foliar spray with calmag in it.
