Wedding Cake 1# Day 85# This plant is progressing very well, it has only grown 10 cm since the last update, but it has grown a lot in width, I forgot to measure the width, but I think it is currently as wide as it is tall, which I really like. This phenotype is not difficult to grow, but it is not too easy either, I would not recommend it to beginners because it can cause problems sometimes. Yesterday was the end of her twelfth week. I think I mentioned in the seventh or eighth week that this plant will be a monster, it was already seen then and it definitely will be, I look forward to the further cultivation and progress of this plant. As for the size of the plant, I think it has to do with genetics, it probably drew on some small ancestor, but it doesn't necessarily mean, maybe it's also down to what I'm going to mention now. Basically, this plant is constantly hungry and thirsty from the moment it is transplanted, it always lacks something and is never completely happy. For weeks I've been trying to correct that and please her, but she can't be as healthy and happy as she should be... this week she looks the best so far, but it's still not that... because of this phenotype (I don't know if it's common) I definitely wouldn't recommend this strain to beginners because I also struggle with this phenotype, the first phenotype is much easier to grow, although it's not for beginners either. Had some issues with mildew this week so have been defoliating and spraying with water and h2o2 , added more wind . After three days this has not solved the problem , so had a friend round with his cleanlight uv-c lamp. Hopefully this will clear the problem, caused by bringing the monster Skittles inside from the back garden.

Another good week with no issues. It's not growing super fast but it is growing well. I'm going to up-size into a 1 gallon pot this week and have a question. The stalk up to the cotyledons is 7cm - how deep I safely bury the stalks? I've read that some people bury the stalk up to the cotyledons but 7cm seems like a lot of stalk to put under ground.

******** Week 7 - January 21 to 27/20 (Days 43 to 49 from seed popping) Well this girl has sure kept one guessing as to when the heck the outcome is going to be. She was slow getting going but she has kept a constant pace of growth and has been getting bigger and developing more every week👍 She set her buds in this week and has started focusing more on buds and seems to be less on growing stems😁 Her stems have strengthened more over the last couple of weeks and are getting pretty stiff......yes! Shouldn’t have to get out too many eye-poking bamboo stakes ahead. Bud diameter is good now and not as tiny. They are starting to grow up as well, swelling. Top cola is filling in as well. How much will she fill in....time will tell. Not sure just how big her root mass is but don’t expect its huge and bound, sides of pot give when some pressure applied down lower. Have noticed other pots with a good amount of roots are firm when squeeze the bottom. Missed some of the purpling of the stems and saw more of it at the end of the week. Will be giving her some Epsom Salt next week. Also, brown spotting on tops of leaves seem to be starting. Suspect the pH may have gotten out a bit or something locking out the P uptake???? Next week, just keep her happy and ensure the medium has the correct pH. Expect more bud swelling to come😶 Slow but steady.......... Hi Growmies. A good week for the girls this week with plenty of growth now starting to happen. I was worried about the #2 jealousy as she did seem to be lacking something but was too young to mess about with her feed. The Candy Rain was looking similar toonwith an obvious dislike of something in the soil mix. I have begun feeding them with my all time favourite nute , Mega crop. The vibrant green that this non salt based nute helps develop is an excellent conductor for photosynthesis. It has rested so many of my plants over time and bever fails to give them a really healthy appearance. I have seen the recovery with both if the smaller ladies andndont doubt they will catch up with their peers. The Bruce Banner#3 is really going for it with growth and had already pushed 6 nodes out. I have now Fimmed her at her 5th node and plan to quad the lower 4th and 3rd nodes in their l.s.t. I am close to being able to do the same with the Jealousy #1 to. Hopefully by the next update , they will all be underway for their planned growing pattern. I hope your all keeping it nice and green. Crazy gain in size on these buds really shocked she is fattening up nicely. High as hell humidity at 68% nightly and 54% daytime but no mold or any issues and she still smells good and those crystals are really starting to show. The hairz are starting to show some gold and orange so she is hetting closer every week now .. Dinafem has some strong and tough genetics this og kush is kicking ass ..

This grow is going to be testing my coco based auto watering setup. The plants will eventually be going into 2.5 gallon airpots which I cut to be very tall and narrow which I hope will give great performance for this grow style. Nutrient solution will be pumped from a 5 gallon bucket to halo-style drip emitters 6 times a day for 5-10 second intervals. I am going to try to use inline flow control knobs to dial in the watering and allow for slight runoff every fertigation. For lighting I am using my HLG 100 watt lights, one per plant. I am a big fan of these quantum boards, they have given great performance in the past! Thanks for reading! 🌱👍 May 13 day 1: the Blackberry breached after germinating in a rapid rooter for 2 days. I am impressed with how quickly this seed popped! It had no issues with stuck seed casings, which I find is the main downside of germinating in rapid rooters. I am excited about this one! May 16 day 3: Auto watering drip emitters are set up, and I am testing them to dial in the amount of runoff it produces. I also planted the seedlings/rapid rooters into 1 litre grow bags and began feeding nutrients. They are still under the humidity dome for now for the time being and seem to be doing well. Day 4: seedlings doing well, they are staying under the dome untill they grow their next set of leaves, then I will take them out and run a humidifier.

She’s ready for her new phase. Just placed them under 12/12 cycle. No Mr. Bee’s green Trees Bloom. I’m going Buildasoil. buildabloom 2-10-5 and single top dress this round.

Overall the plant yielded good dense nugs with strong smell, if your planning on running these seeds make sure you have a good germination rate so you can get at least 1 good pheno with good color on it. This strain was very resistant to deficiencies, large amount of root development and decent lateral growth. I will post nug shots after dry and trim

*********Week 6 - January 13 to 19, 2020 (Days 36 to 42 from germination) This is going to be a brief update but that’s a good thing 😀 The week went by pretty quick and overall it was great progress. She stood up more and her bud sites set in and are starting to stack.👍 Her colour holding nice and her leaves are still pretty wide work up. Have done some further cleaning on the bottom and removed a couple of leaves that were blocking. Took off a couple of low nodes as well. Introduced Massive this week for bud density. She has a very thick main stem. It bends right away but a “quarter” roughly in diameter. Should help hold all that bud😎👍 Keeping wet and happy is a balance. She was good with 2L last week and by the end of the week now she wants 3L and approaching 1 gal a day. Note for week 2......also noted by breeder.😱🙏 Following the breeder notes I also bumped up the CalMag on one of the feedings a bit to help ensure she doesn’t show issues. Don’t want to use CalMag much longer though because she already gets lots of nitrogen. Not sure how much longer to feed......will go another full week for sure. If she runs a full 9 weeks then if allowing a 2 week flush you only go through week 7....that next week! Therefore, even if I push it I will likely only go another week and a half of feeding😟😓😕 Crap time goes fast!!!!!! Gonna have to ensure she is wet and happy👌 Little more detail: Jan 13/20 - Day 36 - 1L feeding of Sensyzime, Piranha, Voodoo Juice @ 2ml/L. Not pH’d......water been running 6.3. this was in the AM - PM feeding 2L only Dual Fuel @ 1ml/L, Liquid Weight and Rezin @ 1.5ml/L = 575ppm pH 5.8. - trying out the Green Planet line so I introduced Massive this week. - lowered temps in room at night. Down to 65 degrees. - notice couple of brown spots here and there about 3. Noted for now as raising the pH already for flower. Jan 14/20 - Day 37 - Hit her harder today with full strength feed. 5.95pH - Pots were light so 3L feed. - Rhino Skin back in for some more silica. - Didn’t go......holly crap she got big last night😮😮.....but she is filling in her width. Jan 15/20 - Day 38 - 2L feed today. Only giving base nutrients and Sensyzime @ 1ml/L pH 6.1. - drinking more now and she doesn’t give run-off before 2L minimum. - keep an eye on the ppm not getting too high and consider increasing her moisture. Jan 16/20 - Day 39 - 3L full feed today. - want to strip a bunch of her leaves!!!! Keep tucking the leaves but even those stems are stubborn.....good problems👍😝 Jan 17/20 - Day 40 - She is hungry :) - 3L feed full strength. - runoff water: 1100ppm, 5.9pH........medium in good shape:) - Good growth last night....liked the nutes👊 - In the tent with only Green Poison is giving a little extra room and she is loving it. Jan 18/20 - Day 41 - She was not dry in the AM but rather inbetween. - watering with supplementals.......Sensyzime, Rezin, Liquid Weight, VeloKelp, Piranha, Voodoo....and CalMag. - 2L with 240ppm and 6.2pH - nothing in PM.....pots still wet......she is looking for 3L per day still roughly. - They are growing taller......top of tallest nodes falling to sleep sooner at night. - replaced CO2 in tent. - Very happy today and good growth with leave up. - 23” tall and 27” wide......with LST. Jan 19/20 - Day 42 - 3L feeding again today. Full strength again. - runoff: 1125ppm and 6.0pH. - stripped two lower nodes and 1 huge fan leaf. - her buds are getting wider and taller....filling in😎 - she is happy....keep the same and don’t change things......less than two weeks feed left. A bit of nute burn. Burnt tips on a few leaves but still continued to feed nutes to this lady. Good growth. Will not be topping this one just defoliate.

For sure i will keep this plant in stock. Very different and potent head high with great looking buds and strong flavor.

El engorde de los cogollos está prácticamente terminado y solo falta que maduren un poco antes de ser cosechada. La planta ayuda mucho, fagocitando, poco a poco, las hojas más viejas, capturando los últimos minerales que estas hojas generosamente dejan, y además, dejando más espacio libre para que la luz entre hasta el centro de la planta. He seguido cortando ramas bajas que no prometían nada. Sigo nutriendo a la planta con cada riego, creo que es adecuado para engordar al máximo las colas, controlando la concentración de mis preparados solubles no corro el riesgo de sobre fertilización, de todos modos, en estas últimas semanas baso mis mezclas de riegos en el aporte de fósforo y potasio, ácidos húmicos y Microorganismos de Montaña Activados (MMA).
