She’s growing fast. Developed some CalMag issues this week but she perked up after a bit of silica and CalMagic. Flowering has begun as of the 14th (day 18 of the grow roughly. Roots are looking good.

This week I discovered my ppms were over 2000!! Starting a flush and starting over with RO water. I learned, Froot by the foot looks almost ready to harvest and she's only 54 days. I don't want to harvest her that early. Gonna try and wait day 70 out. The second granite runtz is a completely different plant. Will go far past day 70. I hope.

8/12 day 64 plants in smaller pots suffer a bit from nutrient deficiency. Living soil seems to fit better in large setups, anyways they will be feeded with tap water only until i chop them.

Harvest: Everything dried up to 347 grams + 96 grams of super high quality trim. Overall I am not too pleased with the smoke of the product. Although the bud size, bag appeal, smell and taste are pretty much all there, the shitty burn is a deal breaker for me and the majority of this weed is quite frankly useless. Another downside is while smoking I’ve found 4 seeds in an ounce from almost every strain. Light leaks? At least I learned a ton, including how to get super good burn for my next crop. I’m hoping that curing for a month or so will improve the burn but I wouldn’t really count on it. I have seen weed dried for 4 days with no cure and no flush smoke clean and not go out once. I have been told that the key to white ashes/clean burn is proper mineral content in the soil and there is tons of scientific studies on cigar ash going back 100 years. Plants grown in a medium with high levels of decomposing organic matter, phosphorus, magnesium, chlorine and heavy metal ratio tend to produce black/grey ash. Whereas plants grown in a medium with a higher ratio of trace minerals like calcium carbonate and potassium in the form of wood ash, rock dusts, oyster shell flour and lower levels of decomposing organic matter will produce a dense, uniform white ash that rarely goes out. But this is still all theory until I test it to confirm for myself a few times. My last few outdoor harvests did not improve with curing at all so I’m hoping this will be the missing link. Plain peat moss and coco clearly lack essential minerals that help burn. If said theory is correct I should find a synthetic nutrient line with more trace minerals. Makes me wonder if growing if rockwool/basalt rock could improve burn in a hydro setup. I think I did a fairly decent job for my first grow. I went wrong in a million different places but I still stuck it out and got some decent herb. Things went wrong early when I got black spot mold, nitrogen/magnesium deficiencies and powdery mildew. I corrected most of it but things didn’t get really bad until mid veg when I intentionally skipped a few feedings and defoliated quite heavily stunting the plants. I also didn’t even top or start LST until the 6-9th node which was really stupid and hurt my yield. My temperatures were all over the place from the learning curve. I was severely overwatering without realizing it. 100% peat moss is a shitty medium. I also fed way too late in flower (not what caused shitty burn). I also used synthetic nutrients in soil. The buds smell a little like standard weed not so special but that doesn't surprise me as the plant looked in bad shape almost the whole grow. Exited to see some return on the hash, will be making fresh frozen so that should be cool.

growth is continuing well. I should have packed the substrate a little more. a slight deficiency in mag appeared on 2 subjects that I corrected by spraying neem oil with calmag as well as spraying 0.5ml with liter calmag. I received the new uv and infrared auxiliary lighting from marshydro that I installed on the rake. I think it's still cheap in terms of wiring and driver. Alaskan Purple is growing great. She is in mid bulking under the Medic Grow Mini Sun-2. She is developing some big colas. She has a fruity smell as well. She is eating and drinking a lot daily. Looking good beside some minor ph rises. I have addressed it and added more bloom booster to help stabilize the ph daily. Hopefully everything stays on track, and might get a awesome finish. Bubba Kush Pre 98 is an easy plant to grow. She gave me no hassles or worries even in a warmer climate than she would like. The leaves are a dark green color naturally. Yield wasnt much, I am waiting for buds to dry and cure to provide the dried weight. I did not feed them any nutrients. The one got so dense that I had to move it indoors to avoid bud rot - im almost convinced it was an autoflower and they made a mistake at the seedbank because it was short and flowered out of nowhere. Outdoor buds were sundried - to lower THC for novice and paranoid smokers, I tried the smoke and it was a very pleasant high - removed anxiety, stress, overthinking, and relaxed my body. Perfect.

Hey now, I hope everyone is having a great weekend, it was a good week for the ladies in the 5X5, they are all starting to stack flowers and really starting to distinguish their own smells. The Bubble Runtz has the most indica dominant looking colas and smells absolutely amazing. The Sundae Driver is looking like she is gonna have the fattest colas and be the biggest producer. I am really hoping I get the red phenotype of the Red Hot Cookies, and both the Green Crack and Durban Nights are showing the most Sativa characteristics and looking great. I now have the Medic Grow Light cranked up to 100% in F1 mode and am also using the UV/IR for 30 minutes per day prior to lights out. I am running a 12/12 cycle and feeding the same mix of GH nutrients which include Silica, CalMag, MaxiBloom, and Bloom Booster, with additional food grade Hydrogen Peroxide in the reservoir to keep algea growth to a minimum. I mix one 5 gallon bucket of nutes per day and clean my reservoir once per week. My pump is set to auto feed the plants every 5 hours after lights on, and I have a gravity self draining runoff setup I built. Not much to do from here on out, just keep the reservoir clean and full, a little defoliation, and 5 minutes per day to mix a bucket of nutes.I hope they get fat in the next few weeks and then I have about 7 people lined up to help me trim, I will throw everyone two zips for the help. hoping to do the wet trim in a day. Kush Titanium - [ ] 1st week Veg: germinated in substrate lighting very close so it jets medium high humidity after the 3rd day they started sprouting - [ ] 2nd week Veg: this week my ventilator broke down and as the temperature stayed very warm nothing developed much - [ ] 3rd week Veg:fortunately this week i had fixed the ventilation and the temperature has go down a bit allowing the little plants to develop and reinforce - [ ] 4th week:very good developments in this week I already started feeding a bit two times but i didn’t have to…once was enough - [ ] 5th week Veg:this week they were very strong green i only had to water them good and keep the ventilators going no stop .They have good hight already ,but as i have to strains together. Nothing much to say about my grow this week. Gave he a flush with pH 6.0 to kick off the week. Day 86..... Gave her a feeding today a whole gallon. Ive been doing some research and maybe I'm feeding my plants a little too much nutrients. So from now on I will be feeding a lot less and the next day I will feed just plain water. So my plants will get nutrients every 3 or 4 days. I also bought a few advanced nutrients supplements which I'll be experimenting with. Day 87... Gave her a feeding today of advanced nutrients Nirvana and voodoo juice and pH to 5.9. Day 88.....gave her a 2l feeding today of nutrients. Also defoliated some of her big fan leaves.
