Nice strain to grow overall especially for the terps it produced, yield was more on the low side as expected from one for these "hype" strains or whatever you want to call them.

Week 6

Fo' Twenny Back with another update on our "Grandaddy Purple" from Blimburn Seeds! 8/24: I did some selective defoliation to help increase light penetration. Next watering will be a flush with 2 tsp/gal of Fox Farm's flush agent SledgeHammer. A flush is recommended after week 3 in the Fox Farm Feeding chart. I figure the recommended flush will do some good considering I have a lot of coco in the mix and there are small amounts of salt fertilizer in my schedule. She is really starting to do some stretching and she has an abundance of growing shoots. She has a few leaves that look textured or "crinkled". I tried doing some searches and not sure if this is due to a virus or some other factor. She is center in the tent and the only plant being grown in a fabric pot. She has also been vegging longer than any of the other plants in the garden. She was a survivor from previous run when I almost killed all my plants (did kill one) trying to kill so spider mites. This is the only plant presenting these abnormalities. I gave a lot of detail about the abnormal leaves because I am hoping someone may be able to help me troubleshoot. 8/28: Flushed the medium with tap H2O run through 2 KDF filters with 2 tsp/gal of Fox Farm Sledgehammer flushing agent and pH adjusted to 6.2. I started by giving 5 gallons. After checking the PPM of the runoff I ended up adding 5 more gallons mixed to same specifications. 10 gallons total was shared by 3 large flowering photoperiod cultivars and 1 smaller autoflower. She probably ended up with about 3 gallons give or take. I didn't measure how much each plant received. I just kept flushing each and checking runoff until it was under 1600 ppm. Her final week of flowering start of week ten of flowering will be chopped next Tuesday then I'll post final results. I'm praying for 8 zips I really would like to break my record my biggest autoflower haul has been 7.5 zips dry! Second being 6 and then 5 and half. My average is 4 zips while minimum 1 zip. This girl was hard to keep up with feeding. I was watering it everyday for the last 3 weeks believe it or not. Biggest auto grown wide as fuck. Lst to perfection. Idk what else to say one happy auto grower as always :)

Week 3: Roots started getting bigger so I moved the plant to a bigger pot. Watered too frequently so algae began forming on the topsoil surface, note the black cover. Started LST early.

Lots of new growth this week, looks like the screen is about 50% full, I’m thinking in the next week or two I’ll get to 12/12. In the mean time I’m adding an extra hour of darkness every few days to make her transition to flower smooth and stress less for her.

- Defoliated the bottom half pf the plant at the start of the week removing all leaves and little stems so the plant can put more energy into the buds on the main stem. - Some of the outer leaves are getting burnt from the strip lighting. Nothing I can really do about this, next grow ill make sure the plant doesn't get so big. - Looked like the plant was getting some slight nute burn so I decided to back off from the Canna PK this week. I might bring it back in week 17 if shes looking hungry. - Installed a feeding tube to avoid spilling nutrients on the buds and reduce the amount I have to move the plant in and out of the bucket. - Tested my runoff Ph and its at about 6.5. Should I lower the Ph of my nute mix to compensate or is this normal? - Buds are coming along nicely, smell is very fresh and light.

Everything looks great to me except leafs look a little less green then first week. I will be fine tuning the nutrition for better NPK ratios, focusing on Nitrogen and Potassium more along with micronutrients. I hope I don't screw something up, wish me luck. D9. Noticed possible slight nutrition burning from very bottom leaf. After some research, now i believe it's Nitrogen deficiency. D10. Bottom leaves appear to be yellowing less. Will keep eye on it. Maybe leaf necrosis. D.12 10 minutes before light out. Add nutrition and topping. My thinking is that healing is better during off cycle. D.13 New growth, however lower leaves look like there is a little magnesium deficiency. Will be adjusting nutrition next feeding.

Week 7 of flowering. This girl has gone wild!!! She's got BIG stacked colas with huge buds. In the end I had to super crop her over & set up a scrog/ trellis net to hold her down & support the weight of the colas, which I probably should have done a while ago. As it was more about getting the light down closer to the other plants.

She is much prettier than she was a week ago :) I remembered that I have my first grow light, which is more compact and it will give me more space, so I changed my light, now the girl's side branches get light too:) I add a lot of video memes, because I really want to win Iphone16 pro ;) and those who don't take risks don't drink champagne:) good luck to everyone.

Sie haben jetzt ausreichend Zeit gehabt sich zu generieren. Am Ende der 8 Woche werde ich anfangen den Lichtzyklus langsam auf 12/12 umzustellen. Dann bekommen die Pflanzen für 3 Tage 15/9 Licht bevor ich auf 12/12 umstelle. Somit haben die Pflanzen Zeit sich auf die Blütezeit vorzubereiten. Ansonsten gibt es keinerlei Probleme. Aktuelle Pflanzen Höhe am Tag: 52 #1)18cm #2)14.5cm #3)16cm Denn Dünger scheinen die Pflanzen gut zu vertragen und schmatzen den so weg. Hey everyone! Do-Si-Dos ladies are growing inside the grow tent now and under a 250w HID, which is a HPS since my MH bulb burnt. They are growing very strongly, fast and healthy. With a decent thick stock for their age I believe. This genetics are very strong, so far no problems, no stunt growth. Made a 4-way topping, where you must leave 2 nodes only. The plant had around 6 nodes before topped. Will start LST on branches and shape them for the scrog I might apply later. They leave a sweet smell scent in the air. Roots are also growing pretty fast. This week I changed a few elements, I changed my nutes to mills, I used mills on my last grow and had a really good result, I also like the fact that's it takes 1 week to flush, this is because it is made of organic and inorganic compounds and contains less salts. The only reason I didn't go with mills from the start was purely financial, canna is cheaper and doesn't require the expensive "start" additive like mills. The guy in my local shop swears by mills and gave me a bottle of c4 for free so I switched. I also added a greenhouse tube heater as my lights off temp was dropping to around 6c. I'm at 12c now and can live with that. My flowers are forming nicely with small spacing in between each node and I have been bending the branches down to encourage growth. This is going as planned and I'm loving this run 👊
