Week 7

Just as difficult to grow as the first time I done Afghan kush but still managed to get some nice purple bud out of it!!!

So this is how the ladies are looking at the end of Week 2 from Seed. Successful Germination, 1st 2 weeks completed and now time for transplanting. I have added a video with better explanation. Happy Growing guys, any questions just ask away. 👍🏾🌱💚😎

Weird week, Nitrogen toxicity. As of 3 days ago I started on nutes. My soil only has nitrogen in it, so it makes sense. She does look better today but eh. Leaves are dry as heck, humidity is about 50% ish she is feeding good, good runoff and PH. She is a chronie and thats all she is going to be. I'm mostly just seeing what she can do. I can smell weed when I go down in my basement but when I open the tent I have no smell/ or mine sucks cause I smoke too much upstairs lol. I notice a few amber hairs today but they look a bit bigger and fluffy. Not much to update. BIG shout out to @jinks101 for helping me out and answering all my questions!! Alien Vs Triangle is growing like crazy! She's loving the Recharge. I can see some white hairs starting to develop. I'm expecting her to go into her stretch any day now. 👍

One more week up wee go , and dude are they going hehehe , i had some life to my room and im giving the stretch times but asap i will apply deep and hard defoliation with should be enough until almost the end of cycle. And defoliation day came and with it a second net to help support future buds, i was gona go harder on them but lol im happy with the new haircut lol Gave them a strong full feeding with it and had some conditioner to my soil to help braking death mater and also gave them nome nematodes to fight fungus nets larvas and help control the life on my soil. For now thats all im doing , i will keep monitoring this fungus net and springtails etc that came with the time of the year and with the fact that im growing fully mineral organic . The Sin di Anesia era una di quelle piante che vorresti avere sempre nel tuo box! Non ho avuto particolare attenzione per queste ragazze e vedo che sono cresciute bene e sopratutto belle piene! Ho iniziato a sciacquare con acqua 🚿 fredda ben 2 settimane prima per fare un test e per vedere se effettivamente aumenta la produzione di resina come si legge in giro in qualche articolo, beh non farlo se non vuoi stressare inutilmente le tue piante, dal mio di punto di vista non è cambiato nulla se non fate ingiallire prima tutte le foglie, stessa cosa le 48h di buio…il sole non si è ancora spento tutto questo tempo! Seguire invece un certo ritmo di luce e cambiare lo spettro delle tue luci, questo sì che può fare la differenza, meno luce rossa negli giorni e più luce UV metterà le tue piante nelle condizioni di difendersi da quella luce ultravioletta facendo produrre tricomi per questo motivo! Dovrebbe essere quello che si avvicina di più allo spettro solare autunnale 🏵️

This weeks update! Grow tent- so I had a buddy do my res change I talked him through the whole process couldn’t make it to the grow this week. Number and everything where perfect but!. He didn’t close the valve all the way to the blue dream res tank and left the drain pump on🤦‍♂️🏾. So when I got there this week leaves where curling and brown thought it might be a nutrient issue. Opened the res to check it. And there was only about a gallon of water in there out of the usual seven. No major harm I was planning on doing my last defoliation to her this week anyway. But that could have been bad. They are both receiving half strength nutes of the ripening mix GH recommends. Would have been a perfect week if not for that. No harm no foul tho. But def bout to start pushing them on the flower nutes and get back up to my 1000 ppm range buy adding extra bloom formula! #Staykited

This week is going great. Transplanted the ladies into their 7 gal pots, amended with Gaia Green. They are doing good after being transplanted.

7/29 - Week 9 of veg is starting. At this point, it is just let them grow up a few inches, and also fill out the pots some more with roots before transplanting to 5 gallon fabric pots (their final homes). I also plan on mixing a 'flower blend' soil to fill up the 5g pot around the rootball that is transplanted. This recipe for the soil is taken from MaximumYield: Enhanced fruit/flower potting soil recipe This soil recipe is designed for plants that are ready to fruit or flower. In particular, this recipe works great for ornamentals that are already in bloom and for fast-growing annuals that are entering their fruiting or flowering stage. Parenthesis indicate small changes or products I'm using. 1/2 cu. ft. (60 cups) sphagnum peat moss (Promix BX) 1/4 cu. ft. (30 cups) coco coir (Mother Earth Coco Peat) 1/4 cu. ft. (30 cups) compost (either compost or manure) 1/4 cu. ft. (30 cups) perlite 10 cups pumice (likely to just use perlite here) 5 cups worm castings 3 cups bat guano (high phosphorus) 1 cup fish bone meal (using regular bone meal, got Jobe's Bone Meal) 1 cup oyster shell 1/2 cup seabird guano (likely to just add as the high phosporous guano) 1/4 cup alfalfa meal 1/4 cup fish meal (Down to Earth Fish Meal) 2 tbsp. langbeinite (Down to Earth Langeinite) 1 tbsp. glacier rock dust (Azomite ordered from Amazon) 7/30 - While technically the morning of 7/31, lights haven't gone out yet, so it is still the 30th ;) It almost hurts posting pictures today, because they were really thirsty, but I honestly hadn't looked at them for a couple days. Anywho, the plants were watered with ~1.25 liters of water each, about 90 minutes before lights out. Will be interesting to post the 7/31 photos after a couple hours of lights on, and see the difference in appearance. I also mixed the soil for flowering, and it will now have a couple weeks to 'cook' and become ready for the plants. I did make a mistake and accidentally added 1 cup of fish meal instead of 1/4 cup (oops), and the alfalfa meal just smelled too good, so I added 1/2 cup instead of 1/4. Hopefully those 2 'changes' don't add too much nitrogen for flower, but I imagine it won't. I also instead of adding perlite (didn't want to buy a 4 cu ft bag when I needed at most 2.5 gallons (1/3 cu ft), so I opted to add 1 gallon of pumice. Since the coco peat and promix both have perlite in them, I didn't want too much added. There were also some worms from the compost that made it into the tote that is now storing the mix, so life has already started in the soil. 7/31 - It wasn't just after lights on, as I didn't have time to photo earlier, but this is just about 24 hours after watering, and praying/looking good. I had noticed that it looked like the fan had slipped down the pole a bit, and was causing some wind burn/clawing of the leaves yesterday, which probably attributed to poor looks, but looking better today! While I am not that versed in checking preflowers, from what I can tell, if I had to guess, CH#1 could be either (maybe slightly leaning towards female, thought I might have saw a couple hairs), and the #2 actually looked male to me. 8/4 - After getting home from work, and realizing I hadn't checked on the plants in a couple days and I knew they were due for water either yesterday or today, I saw some THIRSTY plants. They each got ~1.2L of water, and also a quick trim back. After checking preflowers again, I am afraid that both Chinook plants may end up male :(

She is much prettier than she was a week ago :) I remembered that I have my first grow light, which is more compact and it will give me more space, so I changed my light, now the girl's side branches get light too:) I add a lot of video memes, because I really want to win Iphone16 pro ;) and those who don't take risks don't drink champagne:) good luck to everyone.

Day 105 approximately since seed touched soil. OG is purple, how i dont know ;) 2 out of 3 went to colours ... Girl need like 2-3 weeks more, will be checking every week. Bad weather is coming for next two weeks, so huge bud rot lottery . AKs is best this summers strain, stacks nicely, genetics stable. 2-3 weeks till finish. Happy Growing !!!
