OMG! So happy i finally harvested! Shakira and Gertrudes are two fat girls! The whole growing process was smooth. Both plants had nutrient deficiencies late flowering but it was my fault because I wasn't feeding them :p the problem stopped when I started using calmag and the bloom/micro. They were string from the begining: i drowned them when they were seedlings, one of them had some mold in the root at that time. But, as soon as I changed pits and corrected my watering there was nothing to worry about. I struggled to observe the trichomes with my cellphone camera hahahahhaha, i still think they're 30% clear but when I noticed a couple of amber ones it was my cue to turn off the lights! I'm not a fan of couch lock effect, so let's see how it went. I'm sure the amber trichomes were not even 10%, so I guess I'm good. Also, i chopped my plants when they completed exactly 77 days from the moment they showed up above the ground. Humidity was a bitch and with a small tent I had no alternative but to use a small dehumidifier from Amazon. It did NOT help that much. I hope they can dry with humidity around 75%, I'm having one small fan blowing on too of them (i know I'm not supposed to but it's 100% outside). Reaching 55 seems like an intangible dream :( I enjoyed the while process of growing, it was easy but i got paranoid far too many times. On the other hand I DETESTED to trim it. Im exhausted, my shoulders hurt and I have NO IDEA if I did it too much or not enough. Hoping drying and curing to be smooth as well. If anyone is reading this, thank you for hanging on with me :) Ps. it's too potent and the smoke is soft, almost too easy to be smoke

This strain is beautifull. Theres already crystals coming on the bottom of the upper waterleaves the smell is insane. i cant explain but theres 0% of that citrus weed smell too it. very unique flowery smell i could pick her out of 1000 different plants no problem. as you can see this plant looks a lot like the Blue Dream from Humboldt, i love these kind of plants i dont want to defoliate her because she looks so perfect 💚 cant wait untill the later weeks in flower. later this week i have cut of the lower parts of the plant now she will finish like this without any more cuts

Watching trichomes closely and using plain water over the past week. The largest of the two plants stopped responding much to watering and became resplendent with milky plus amber trichomes as the leaves faded and purpled up. On 2-15 I chose to harvest her. I weighed out 3.4 oz of untrimmed wet bud on 2-16, as I plan to dry trim. Second plant harvested 2-18. I will put up a harvest report when both plants are harvested. The smaller plant is approximately a week behind. I’m pleased with the yield but I really have no experience to know how these dense meaty buds will weigh out when dried. I have only removed the most easily plucked sugar leaves to facilitate drying and later trim. I have taken two medium sized riper buds from this plant over the past two weeks to dry and sample. I have only tried the first one and will say that the buzz was potent, delightful with a very sweet delicious flavor despite being uncured and grassy. ***** Currently the scent is an almost artificial vanilla, sugar and chocolate. ****** Compared to my bagseed and my one previous grow, these plants have been resilient against transplant stress, heat, pests, and pmd. My only concern was the appearance of a ball, which I plucked off and had not since observed more of them. Unlike the smaller plant that has one large cola with many heavy but smaller ones, the larger one sported many larger colas. ****** For my next grow I would like to add more light or switch up to COBs move into a larger space, be it a tent or a diy grow room, augment my soil with coco as well as perlite, if not switch mediums entirely, be more gentle with transplant and add enzymes and bloom boosters to my supplements. ****** I know this was a long grow. Girl Scout Cookies-Day 49# The plant is at the end of its seventh week today, it has progressed nicely, if it hadn't been for the problem described in the text below, it would have been better, but my God 5 nights ago there was a strong storm, the morning after the storm when I came to the site, I found some plants crooked, some normal, but there were no broken ones, thank God, but they were very stressed and what you can see in the pictures appeared on the leaves, some leaves were crispy at the edges, but still green, mostly shoots before the newest ones. I haven't had this problem before, I researched a bit on the internet and came to the conclusion that the wind burned them, and I also turned to GW for an opinion, two characters confirmed my opinion. Two days later I noticed that the matter was getting worse and that it was spreading, which worried me, so I contacted GW again for an opinion. Some told me that it was mold, some that it was an infection, disease and so on, mostly guesswork, but no one specifically told me what was certain, so I decided on nim oil, and whatever it is, I guess the problem should be solved. According to some leaves, I would say that insects might be the problem, but I really don't know, I haven't had similar problems before. I regulate the ph of the plants, I still don't feed them, there is food in the ground for another week, except for the fact that I added cal-mag after that storm when I watered them. I want to say that the plants are certainly not locked, and the heat is not yet so high that this would happen from the same, the more the temperatures have dropped and now it is perfect. Since transplanting, I have watered the plants only 2 times. Yesterday morning they were topped for the second time, only the main branches, I will do the next topping of the side branches. Last night I sprayed the plants with neem oil and already today the problem seems to be going away, if I tripped at least it doesn't spread further, that's for sure. I didn't mix the oil very well, I didn't add any soap or anything like that because I wouldn't really spray the plants with any chemicals, and on some of the leaves on one or two plants there is that thick, brownish liquid, so I hope it won't hurt them, I noticed that today during the day, I couldn't see it at night. I still don't know what the problem is, but my guess is still that the wind burned them or some insects. Speaking of insects, I think I noticed thrips on one plant on the underside of the leaf, so in addition to the neem oil I already gave, I also ordered SMC, so I will spray that at least once a week while they are still young. Week 7 for gelato 41, She's been topped a few more times now as you can see she's really pushing her size, I'm still stretching her out size ways. Nothing too crazy to report from here besides I've been giving her an extra 4/5h in sun light to start to harden her off a bit before moving her outside to her final pot (which may be end of this month but we'll see)

Week 5 on these amazing girls. They're full into the flower stage and the smells are starting to come through super strong. I've switched over to bloom nutes and they seemed to never skip a beat. All in all excited to see what the coming weeks have in store. Happy Growing.

Login issues led to missing a couple weeks, but things have been super smooth. Buds are looking sweeeet and hairy. And they're really fattening up. She's one thick hairy lady. Following the nutrient schedule without deviation, swapping and cleaning the reservoir every week (H2O2 clean), and keeping the humidifier filled. I swapped the pump. First one randomly stopped working for no apparent reason. New one I spec'd with a much lower pump rate and it's a great improvement. No splashing, just a trickle recirculation so I keep it on 24/7. The pH monitoring is so so so much easier now with the good Apera pen. What a difference it makes over the generic ones.
