5/8 Watered both with plain PH'd water yesterday. Both of the plants are sucking up leaves. Trichomes are only really looking amber on the brown leaves, but otherwise milky. 5/10 Decided that these brown-leaved buds on Trainwreck were ready, so I tried a little bro-science and watered an hour before harvesting. Noticed there were some really nice green young buds intertwined, so I did my best to trim around to leave them for another week or so. No weight measurements yet, will wait till after trimming and before curing.

Fastbuds #35 Week 14 Harvest I've been looking forward to these beautiful ladies finishing for a while now. From trimming the flowers they are super sticky and dense as could be. Giving off a pungent glue smell with a hint of something sweet. I haven't had the pleasure yet to sample this one but after a little cure time in the jar I bet it'll knock your socks off. Happy Growing

What's up Grow Diaries family, super excited to have another grow in addition to the Gelatos. This time is a little different since it will be a new experience for me. First time growing an auto flower strain, first time using Bio Tabs, and first time using the quantum board for the full cycle. I usually use the QB304 for vegging, but since I got a 2'x2' tent. It'll be dedicated for that space. I finally got a hold of some FastBuds seeds but I've been losing sleep contemplating on which strain to grow. I have some LSD-25 and Blackberry, which are fantastic strains (based on what i've seen). It came down to a coin toss and LSD-25 was chosen. Come and join me in this new journey. I've read up on how to grow autos and all that but I know there are plenty of seasoned veterans out there that could share some knowledge. Week 1 - Prepped Fox Farms Ocean Forest soil by mixings BioTabs Startrex and Mycotrex. I know there's been a lot of debate about using 3 gal vs 5 gal for autos but I'm using a 5 gal. fabric pot since that's what I have and probably would still buy a 5 gal instead of a 3. But who am I, I'm another first time auto grower. Hahaha! Let me know your thoughts on this. Light cycle is set to 20 hours instead of the usual 12/12, 18/6, 24. I was debating on running the lights 24/7 but wanted to have period when the plant rest. Not too sure if autos need it but my electric bill could use a break. Soaked the seed overnight and sown into soil approximately 1/2 in. Placed a humidity dome (solo cups 😉) over the site to keep humidity up. Humidity in the room is around 45% which is pretty low for germination. Temperature at 78°F which is good. Within the next day or so, we should have this sprouting out of the soil. Once that happens, an update will soon to follow. UPDATE: 11/9/2018 Day 1 LSD-25 finally sprouted 😃. Relative humidity has been low at 35ish%, keeping a humidity dome/spraying Ph'd water to keep her happy until she gets a little bit bigger. If the humidity levels stay this low, I'll be putting in the humidifier until conditions get better. Enjoy the new pictures and stay tuned for the next update! Day 3 - RH has been going down to the teens so I added the humidifier for now. Conditions are a lot better and is now in the 70's. Increased the blower speed to kinda balance out the incoming dry air. Day 4 - Dialed in the incoming air by adjusting the blower and vent. Humidifier doing it's thing getting RH at 72%. Saturated the soil with regular tap water + Bactrex + Orgatrex + Cal-Mag. We'll see how this goes since no PH or EC readings required with BioTabs. I do plan on using Real Growers Recharge once she gets out of the seedling stage. Once she starts flowering, Mammoth P will be used 😉 Day 5 - Leaves are pointing up, this could be a bad thing right? I think it's due to the low humidity and possibly light burn. Humidifier was setup yesterday so maybe she just needs to get reacclimatized to her new environment. I also increased the light distance a couple of inched just in case. Day 6 - Seems like the leaves are starting to level out and color is starting to look better 😀 Day 7 - End of week 1! Nothing to report other than new pictures are up. See you on the next update.

Today is day 74 since planting, so in theory I should have about 2 weeks to go. The taller plant will probably make that, the shorter may take an extra week or so. Overall, pretty boring week, as the buds are at the tail end of fattening up, should be right on the edge of ripening. The bud structures of the plant continue to be completely different, with the taller plant having a more typical sativa appearance while the shorter plant has dense, stocky nugs more like an indica. I'm just excited to see the end in sight. At this point in the grow I just want to harvest and start my next batch, but one of my growing mantras is " let the plant tell you when she's ready to be cut" so I will continue to wait impatiently until a vast majority of the trichomes are milky. Thanks as always for checking out my diary ✌️

I had bad luck, or beter I didn’t keep the rain out of the structure. So unfortunately the lady’s did get wet! We had a lot of rain after a great summer. I think if I didn’t had rotten flowering 800 gram per plant was normal yield! It is a great plant verry easy to grow and a big yield! I like the seeds of high-Seeds! Its a great supplier! This year a couple of diverent lady’s! Whit a new growhouse.

Day 8 : Still watering a small amount everyday, before lights turn off. No nutrients, only my lentils juice, to help roots production. She show no deformation, leaves have a perfect shape. That's something i was used to with auto ^^ She is a bit too tall in my opinion, but she's not stretching anymore. Good. Still planning to add dirt on the top, to simple solve this. She Spend day outside, the weather is still perfect.

Day 63 I cut out the bottom of my tent to raise it to the top of the rdwc buckets giving me another 15" of space. It was getting tight and i don't want to keep dimming my light. Had to remove my screen, I'll build in another one if the buds get too heavy. Starting week four in flower for the two on the left (few days seperation) starting week 2ish for the girl on far right.

Ginger Nut Cookies & Aussie Music Videos Week 16 Harvest 17 th April 2020 This Entire feminised seed making and growing project was a very good learning experience for me. Right from the very start, when I successfully got a Cutting ,taken from a Barneys Farm Red diesel female plant to produce feminised pollen after treating it with a silver thiosulfate solution. I then used it to pollinate a Fastbuds Girl scout cookies auto plant and let it grow to maturity. This only produced 3 viable seeds one of which is the subject of this Diary. I made up the name "Ginger nut cookies" after a variety of cookies we have here in Australia that are made with ginger. They are the same colour as the distinct red hairs on the red diesel buds. And would you believe those same vivid red hairs were passed on to this plant so I wasn't too far off the mark with the strain name. Her flavour however is nothing like red diesel or girl scout cookies and infact as taken on a smell and aroma all of it's own. She has a lovely tropical fruit like taste and the smell is a bit like fruit yoghurt. It has an unreal after taste on the exhale and the lingering second hand smoke smells very sweet and enticing. She has a pretty well balanced high too not as potent as the GSC nor as energenic as the red diesel but just a pleasant mix of the two. It was a very easy to grow and undemanding plant that didn't seem to require a lot of extra feeding other than the 100% organic nutrients that were within the soil and a few things like compost teas etc. The other element of this diary was of course the weekly Aussie music videos That I provided the links for and put up a little video clip preview of each Artists song. Week 1 Dance Monkey Week 2 Gotye Week 3 AC/DC Week 4 INXS Week 5 Dire straits Week 6 Yothu yindi and Midnight oil Week 7 Divinyls Week 8 Was Request week where I asked growers to pick and because only 3 growers put in a request I decided to choose all three which were Kylie Minogue , Flume & Airbourne Week 9 Paul Kelly Week 10 Daddy Cool Week 11 Cold chisel Week 12 Jimmy Barnes Week 13 The Angels Week 14 Crowded House Hoodoo gurus Mental as Anything Week 15 Empire of the sun Big Pig , Silverchair , Peking duk Grinspoon , Hilltop hoods and the White stripes And Finally for the last lot of music videos I have chosen another multi list bonanza of Aussie Music with the artist/s name and Youtube link below. So in no particular order here are my last choices for this Diary its been a fun grow with a steep learning curve. 🌿 Week 3 – Vegetative Stage – Mango Kush + Lava Cake (Zamnesia Seeds) Grower: Dog Doctor Strains: Mango Kush & Lava Cake (Pheno 1 + Pheno 2) Pots: 11L Amnesia Fabric Pots Light: Future Off – Black Series 600 Tent Size: 8x8 (Shared Space) Climate Control: TrolMaster Ecosystem + Spider Farmer GGS Watering: Hand-watering for all plants (automated watering coming soon) CO₂: 632 ppm Room Temp: 27°C Humidity: 57.4% Airflow: Dual 6-inch exhaust systems + filtered intake Carbon Filters: TrolMaster AeroFan 6” + Spider Farmer 6” with GGS control ⸻ 🌱 Transplant Day – A Ritual of Roots This week marks a huge step: our girls have moved into their forever homes, 11L Amnesia fabric pots, and they’re already loving the extra space. The Mango Kush queens, along with Lava Cake Pheno 1 and Pheno 2 (only 4–5 days old, but already catching up), were hand-selected to move forward toward flowering. Their roots were strong, white, and vibrant, ready to stretch and expand. Fabric pots were chosen for a reason: Why Fabric Pots? • Air pruning: Roots don’t circle and strangle—when they hit the pot’s breathable edge, they stop and branch instead. • Breathability: Improves oxygen flow to the root zone. • Drainage: Prevents overwatering and keeps the medium healthier longer. • Mobility & structure: They hold shape while allowing movement, especially useful early in veg. These pots don’t just hold soil, they shape roots, which shape the entire plant. ⸻ 🌱 Soil Mix & Nutrient Support The super soil mix was created with care and intention, using select amendments from Aptus Holland: Transplant Soil Mix: • Super soil base • Aptus Mycor-Mix – Mycorrhizae to build root partnerships • Aptus Micro-Mix – Adds beneficial bacteria for microbial balance • Aptus Substrate Buffer Powder – pH stabilization & nutrient interaction balance Feed Mix (per liter): • Aptus Regulator – 0.15 ml: Strengthens cell walls and enhances nutrient transport • Aptus CalMag Boost – 0.25 ml: Structural support for fast vegetative growth • 💧 Aptus All-In-One Liquid – 1 ml: A complete, balanced base nutrient • 🌱 Aptus Start Booster – 2 ml: Roots, roots, and more roots Watering Stats: • pH: 5.83 • EC: 1.01 • Water temp: 18.5°C Each drop is measured with love, and the girls are responding with lush, deep green growth. ⸻ 🌬️ Airflow, Filtration, and Clean Breathing Air management is everything in a multi-strain tent, especially during veg. We’ve set up: • Two 6-inch extraction systems • TrolMaster AeroFan 6”, controlled through the full TrolMaster ecosystem • Spider Farmer 6”, on a GGS controller for dynamic response • Filtered intake to maintain positive pressure and pure airflow 🌫️ Why Carbon Filters So Early? While many growers wait until flowering, we use carbon filters now to ensure clean air, remove any potential VOCs, and keep the space fresh—especially important in a shared environment. It’s about starting with purity and keeping it that way. ⸻ 🧠 What This Week Is and Isn’t What it is: • A week of foundation setting: transplant, soil structure, environmental prep • A time of root expansion and big shifts in the grow’s energy • The moment our girls step into their long-term rhythm • An opportunity to fine-tune TrolMaster automation for watering, climate, airflow What it isn’t: • A week for high-stress or pruning • A time to push nutrients hard, everything is still about balance and observation ⸻ 🎥 What’s Next? Next week we dive into post-transplant development, what to expect, how to manage early stretch, and when to start preparing for training and shaping. 👉 Subscribe on YouTube so you don’t miss it, especially if you want to follow how two different Lava Cake phenos grow side-by-side with our queen Mango Kush. ⸻ With roots grounded, airflow singing, and the TrolMaster lights blinking like magic, DD (Dog Doctor) 🌱💚✨ 📲 Don’t forget to Subscribe and follow me on Instagram and YouTube @DogDoctorOfficial for exclusive content, real-time updates, and behind-the-scenes magic. 12/27 - 1/3: Another very busy week. Plants are looking great. One of the Gorilla Girls is STILL STRETCHING..she's been supercropped in a dozen places and is still just 9 inches from the lights... One of my Zkittlez has formed a flower on a 9-finger fan leaf about 3/4 of the way to the top of the plant. It's crazy looking...never seen it happen before..and I've grown many hundreds of plants... Last fed on 1/3.
