Just chopped last night. About 8oz wet weight. Did a good amount of wet trimming, will do a final manicure once it is dried. This grow has been an absolute blast - the girls were good to me and didn't give me much trouble. I am a man of variety, so I always try new things - so not sure if i will grow it again but if I had to, I wouldn't be mad at all :) Smoked some scissor hash it is sure was tasty! and strong - got me feeling reallllllly nice. Will update in a week or so when it is dried to report on the dry weight. And then some time after that I will report on the smoke once it cures :) UPDATE POST HAND DRY: The plants hung for 6 days, and have now moved into the jars. Dry weight of exactly 2oz. 51g buds, 5g trim. I had no idea that cannabis loses its smell a bit as it dries - so i got super worried at first, only to realize this is normal and the beautiful smell returned shortly. Will continue to update after curing for a taste/effect review. UPDATE ~ 1.5 Weeks into cure: Looking back it think I did too much dry trimming. It had been cold at that time, and I was paranoid about mold. It dried quite quickly, and I might have been out a day too long. I was aiming to get them in jars and have it sit at about 60-65% humidity - but when they went into the jars it never went higher than 54% and kind of settled down at 48%. But the buds aren't crispy by any means, so maybe my humidity meter was off. They do seem a little too dry though - and the buds are definitely quite airy. My grow light is pretty small, so I'm not expecting super dense buds. From what I've read, I'm worried they might have over-dried past the point of "curing"? Or maybe I'm reading too much into this, idk. This is all a learning process and I'm enjoying it regardless. It was my first grow so I definitely have room for improvement within my current setup. I couldn't wait to try it so I've been sampling throughout the curing process. The flavor and scent profiles are definitely changing, and for the better - but it doesn't have that same "dank" smell it had when she was a living plant. Not sure if that's normal, but probably just didn't have the best drying process. Obviously this early, I'm not expecting amazing taste and smell, so let's see how some more time does. I will say it gets me stoned, for sure haha. It's got a nice dark green, purple color too it with a decent amount of thichomes visible. Honestly, the smaller plant (#1) that I stunted early on has a better scent/taste already, versus #2 that looked so good. Not saying #2 is a bust at all either. It has this earthy, almost cheesy flavor profile. Interesting. Back to the effect - it worked to the point where I feel laser-focused writing this update haha. It definitely has a hybrid effect, with a nice euphoric uplift, while helping me relax and ease tension. I'll try to keep updating this as it cures!

Those two permanent marker plants are still kinda short, but they're finally starting to take off. It's cool to see them getting bushy. They're looking good so far. Well, it's Christmas again. This year feels a little different, though. Maybe it's the snow blanketing everything, or the way the tree lights up the whole living room. Either way, it's cozy and warm, even when it's freezing outside. I'm really looking forward to seeing what Santa brings. I hope I get that new video game I've been wanting. But most of all, I can't wait to spend time with my family. We always have so much fun This past week was a good one for the plants. They started the first week of their stretch, and they've already grown a decent amount. I can really see them filling out. It's cool to watch them grow so fast. I can't wait to see how big they get by the end I always get a little worried at this stage, like they're not gonna get as big as I want them to. But then I remember how they always end up surprising me. By the end, they're always perfect.

She is coming along really nicely. She smells like sweet lemon candy, so good. I think she still has a little stretch left in her. I'm continuing defoliation to keep airflow and light penetration to bud sites. I also turned on my second circulating fan to get a little more breeze in the tent.

Hello. This is the end of week 10 of flowering... and it's harvest time. Just shot some quick video's to show what they look like after flushing. Should take around 4 or 5 days to harvest all 13 plants. With the weighing of the raw branches before wet trimming them and writing down the weight, And the taking of the photo's, making them look good, it takes a little longer to harvest doing a diary. The girls started to pre-flower on the 6th of June. They all have a slight smell when you rub the leaves. Kosher cake, Strawberry banana and the Forbidden runtz have a sweet smell to them. The Forbidden runtz reminds me of the smell of skywalker OG which is totally LUSH..!! The blackberry has more of an deep earthy smell with a slight bit of fruitiness. Super excited for the next few weeks with these ladies. Happy toking my peeps 😁

The veg. continues thru week 6 and the plants grow now very healthy and gain quickly in size and diameter. They love the environment in the HOMBEOX grow-tent and the light-intensity and spectrum of the SANlight LEDs. The two EVO4-120 fixtures are still dimmed to 60%, which is plenty of light for this stage of the growth. My 12 plants are supplied with a water/nutrient-solution from a 'FLEXITANK' 100 liter reservoir via the AUTOPOT-system 'Easy2Grow'. This system has two plants per watering tray and 12 plants fit tightly into the 120x120 cm HOMEBOX tent. I add a little BIO NOVA 'BN-Roots' and 'BN-Zym' to my water and correct it with ph-minus to a ph-value of 6,0. Now the plants can take up all nutrients in the soil they need and continue to grow well. 👍😎

Seed was put in a glass of water on the 2nd of January 20:00 (8PM). Around 15h later it sunk to the bottom and I transferred it to a wet paper towel inside a zip. Around 51h later (so ~36h inside zip) the seed had not yet opened. I am a little worried, but at the same time not because I've looked up what the pro's say and some of them don't even look at the seed until after the seed has spent at least 48h inside the paper towel. I will be patient and wait for the seed to open. After the seed has opened I will be even more patient and let the root grow for a bit. I have grown 2 of these plants in my lifetime and first time was really good, second time was very bad, and the second time I planted it when the root was ~1mm long. I will not rush things this time. I will also be careful to not let the root grow too long. If I'll have it my way, then I'll be planting this baby tomorrow evening, so in a bit less than 24h from now. If I have to reschedule then it will probably be planted on the 6th of January. Worst case scenario: We have to restart with a new seed. Bless you. Update 5 Jan 2022 17:29 (05:29 PM): We have a root! The seed has opened ever so slightly and the root has grown more and more during today. I want the root to grow a tiny bit longer before I plant it. I will take another look before bedtime. Update 5 Jan 2022 20:43 (08:43 PM): Root has not grown much since the last picture, will plant tomorrow. Update 6 Jan 2022 10:05 (10:05 AM): Will plant later. Root is too short. Update 6 Jan 2022 15:00 (03:00 PM): Root is still shorter than I had in mind but my patience has ran out and I think it is still a fine length for the seed to do really good. I also have very good soil for her with claimed great amount of nutrients for seedlings. When it gets large enough I will transplant her to a 11L pot. The 11L pot has been filled with more than 11L soil. Probably around 15L. By the way, the plant has a name, her name is "Satan" but is referred to as a "she". Update 12 Jan 2022 18:00 (06:00 PM): We have a sprout! I saw the sprout some hours ago. I am sure that I planted the seed quite perfectly in the middle. However, the sprout happened very much to the side. I suspect that there was something in the soil that might blocked the sprout. So far it looks like we planted Satan on the 6th of January and we got a sprout on the 12th. I will consider Satan to be in germination stage until it grows a little more. Then I will treat it like she's in the vegetative phase. ----------------------------- SUMMARY: Day 1-21 in Satans life has been so wonderful. Not a minute goes by without me feeling euphoric about her. Every day when I wake up I go to the grow-room and tell her good morning. I hold her largest leaf between my thumb and index-fingers to hold leaf (hold hand) and we just hold leaf together for a few seconds while I admire her beauty. She is so absolutely gorgeous and kind and she is also very happy with her environment. I already have another plant in another grow-room which also is a Northern Lights and I have kept a diary of her as well, just not on growdiaries.com (everything is kept in a Word-document). This other plant is called Kim, named after Kim Jong-Un. Kim and her diary is going to be utilized as a "roadmap" for Satan, so I should know what to expect and when to expect it. I also did a few mistakes with Kim, such as water too much or let her grow with way too much nitrogen in the air. Satan will instead be the best grow I have ever done - hopefully. Well a normal week growth was good those lower branches are starting to grow and she is getting taller .The internode gap or distance seems like it will be close which is good as my height is restricted a bit ... The genetics at seedstockers are awesome you guys if this one grows anything like the others i got then dam she will produce .can't wait to see where I am next week cheers canna family

So I had a little less nutrient last week then i needed. Def a calcium deficiency. I think it's clearing up but this plant has spot all over it. I changed the water, gave it the right amount of nutrients and a little exra hydrated lime for calcium. Hydro is hard. I hoping It's not sick. I hope It doesn't get the other plants sick. Just a few weeks left.

Hey now, hope everyone is having a great weekend and staying safe. Another great week for the ladies, as they are now about 2 weeks into flower, and the stretch is winding down. I am still feeding them silica, cal mag, and flower nutrients maxi bloom by GHE. I will start to add a PK booster this week. I also will be switching to light from V1 to F1 sometime this week, and also integrating the UV/IR bar into the light cycle later this week. I will run the UV/IR bar for approximately 30 minutes prior to lights off to get started. The 5X5 is really starting to fill up nicely, I am running two dehumidifiers outside of the tent and I am able to maintain around 50% RH in the tent during lights on, and around 55% RH with lights off. Still very happy with the Spectrum X from Medic Grow. I am running her at 90% in the V1 cycle and will be transitioning to the F1 cycle later this week. Overall, the plants seem very happy and healthy. The temperature and humidity is significantly dropping so that helps keeping the tent cool and not overly humid. This is by far the best time of year to be flowering plants in my region.
