Wow, another week done. It's become an absolute jungle in my greenhouse. A few of the GG4/Sherbets tops had to be mainlined since they're hitting the top of the greenhouse at 7ft8in tall. The smell is definitely getting stronger every day and it goes from super pungent, to sweet, to almost tropical. They're all still looking nice and healthy. The Athena Blended Line works wonders with my well water as the plants couldn't be happier. All in all Happy Growing.

🌱 Day 57 - Start of the Second-to-Last Flowering Week 🌱 Hello, Grow Friends! Today marks the start of the second-to-last flowering week—Week 9 overall, and Week 5 of flowering. 🌿 I’m getting more and more excited as my first grow nears its end. As I approach harvest, I’ve decided, based on my research, to stop feeding nutrients and stick to just pH-adjusted water for the final two weeks. 💧⚖️ Watering Routine: I’ll keep the same watering schedule—1 liter every two days, which is about 10% of the pot volume. 🌱💧 This should be enough to flush out the remaining nutrients, ensuring a clean finish for the plant. Temperature & Humidity: The temperature remains stable between 19-23°C, which I believe is ideal for this stage of the grow. 🌡️🍂 No more high temperatures to worry about! The humidity is fluctuating between 45-58%, and I’m keeping a close eye on it to stay below 60%. 💧🔍 Everything seems on track for now. 🌿 Plant Health & Growth: The plant still looks very healthy overall. 🌱💪 However, I’ve noticed that in the past three days, there haven’t been any visible changes in the size of the buds. 🤔 It could just be that I’m not seeing the growth clearly, but the only noticeable change is the daily opening of new flower calyxes. 🌸 Harvest Preparation: I’m already getting my equipment ready for drying after harvest. 🛠️ Once it’s time to cut, I’ll be hanging the plant to dry for the first 10 days. 🌿✂️ I want to make sure everything is set for a smooth drying process. Due to the trichome pictures I took on Day 61—which you can check out too—I’ve made an unexpected decision to harvest my plant a bit earlier than planned and make some changes. 🌿 Watering and Flushing: The last time I watered was on Day 61, using all the usual nutrients at the doses I mentioned before. But after seeing the trichome pictures, I decided to start a light flush today. I gave the plant 4 liters of plain water to begin flushing and will now only water lightly on Day 64. After that, no more water until harvest on Day 67. 🌑 Dark Period: From Day 66 to Day 67, I plan to keep the plant in darkness. I’m not entirely sure if this will make a difference, but I’m curious to try it out. ✂️ Defoliation: The plant is doing well, and I’ve done a thorough defoliation. I removed all leaves that aren’t sugar leaves or directly attached to the buds to improve air circulation and reduce the risk of mold as I approach the end of the grow. 💭 Trimming Decisions: I’m still undecided about whether to do a wet trim or a dry trim. Based on what I’ve read, especially regarding the yield from trim, I’m leaning towards dry trimming, as it might give me more usable trim material. Day 42 - Ladies are growing great, some are growing a little faster than others but all in all very happy with this run so far! This week made a few oopsies . I gave un-ph’d water to one of the plants “moving to fast” . Started defoliation during this week to attempt to redirect plant energy into establishing a full canopy since flowering has initiated. Whilst defoliating I broke a branch that had to be taped to save it. Humidity went out of whack when I stored 4 prepped 5 gal pots for transplant in the tent sooo I’ve got to buy a dehumidifier bc at one point all my plants fell out in a fit . STILL haven’t filled these pots out, & I’m kinda sure/unsure it’s time to re-amend the soil for flowering. I’m conflicting on waiting until beginning/middle of week 7 so I can flush week 11 & 12 . I think that covers it pretty well Week 5 in the 📚 📕 📖.

A big hello to all the cannabis growing gardeners...and all the other visitors that came across my grow journal. This week was very relaxing, i add only PH+ (again ;), Calmag and PowerZyme. ---------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Now cannabis smell is overpowering in my grow room I can finally write something about Spider Farmers 6-Inch Inline Fan with Smart Controller and Carbon Filter :) As my grow room gets really stinky at times i always invest in a top shelf carbon filter almost twice the size of the one provided by Spider Farmer, to my shock Spider Farmer carbon filter absorbs the smells wonderfully well. No smell leaks and that just when the fan is running at 5 out of 10 levels of output. The smart controller is something completely new to me, and had a lot of fun experimenting with it during the veg and early flower, when the smell began i needed it to run full time at level 4 or 5 to rid the fragnance. All in all the whole combo is a great deal. If you are not as keen on technology the set without the controller is awesome on it's own. But to have some extra options open, the controller at the device throws at you a ton of settings you can use to optemiase you grow enviornment. 10/07/2020 Going to be rooting up a clone this week. 10/10/2020 3 days in and she is perking up some. Fingers crossed for quick rooting! Lights are on 24 hours 3 way switch on low 12 hours, and high for 12 hours. I will veg on 18 hours for 2 weeks once roots appear, and 2 weeks on 16 hours. On week 5 hope to switch to flower schedule of 11 hours of light and 13 dark. I want to see her tropical side! 10/16/2020 If it has been 19 days since cut taken, she looks pretty good, this week I am starting Grow, Micro, Bloom at seedling and cutting strength. Should see root development soon. And then move to 12 liter DWC bucket. And then we will start the clock on veg! (These past 19 days are rooting time)

Harvest day 68 since time switch to 12 / 12 h Hey guys :-) Finally it's time 💚 The lady is done the large leaves have been removed and hung upside down to dry in the dark drying room. You can now stay there for 13-15 days at a temperature of 18-20 degrees and 55-62% humidity. After 13-15 days it is neatly trimmed by hand and placed in jars with boveda packs 62. After 4 weeks Boveda 58% come in and are ready for testing ;-). After everything has been cut cleanly, the last update comes with the smoke report and the finished pictures. Let's get to the plant 💚. First of all I would like to compliment Green House for this genetics. Unfortunately, the rating system at Growdiaries is a bit strange because I have to give the stars before the Smoke Report and in the end it might have led to more stars in terms of taste. The growth was great from start to finish. She had no problems at all and also had no problems with animals 👍. I'm amazed at the great smell the beautiful buds give off😀. Of course I cut cuttings and if the taste is as good as the smell it will be grown again ☺️. A final report comes with the Smoke Report. Beginning of week... So the ladies are beginning to stack pistils at the crowns.. The Mandarin Cookies has been stacking a little quicker.. Thicker.. They both are showing purple tips on the stiples.. Not the pistils or leaves.. The stiples.. ETHOS Cookies has been showing that for ever now.. The Mandarin Cookies has just started showing these purple tipped stiples.. Gorgeous plants.. Even tho Mandarin Cookies is super freakishly tall and stretchy.. And the ETHOS Cookies is basically a runt.. Doesn't want to make ANY stems.. But plenty of leaves lol.. She should be able to hold up some super fat colas pretty easily tho so that's awesome! I stopped using the Armor Si and the FloraGro.. As well as the MYCO Plus (powder) stuff.. Also going down on the FloraMicro.. Just basically using 1 tsp/gallon of the CALiMAGic, FloraMicro, FloraBloom, and Kushie Kush.. 30 drops/gallon of the Floralicous Plus (not sure if that's too much to be honest).. 2 tsp/gallon of the FloraNectar Fruit-N-Fusion and last but not least... 2 mL/gallon of Hydroguard... *phew*.. Damn that's alot.. But that's alot less then what I was giving these girls... They should do alot better.. Mid week... I have defoliated the ETHOS Cookies a bit more.. Mostly trying to make sure there is good airflow and no larfy producing branches in there.. She should produce some really nice colas with how short and stubby she is lol.. As for the Mandarin Cookies, I've just been supercropping the shit outta the really tall branches.. I've never supercropped a plant so much lol.. And I'm not good at it at all.. Most of the branches are split open, bruised.. Just very crappy looking.. It will heal, they always do 😂 I just hate hurting them like this.. Especially in flower.. But it's still pretty early in flower.. And the pistils are still exploding just as much as the non-supercropped branches.. I can't wait!!!... End of week.. Both girls are exploding with trichomes! I love these super frosted strains! The ETHOS Cookies seems to be stackin calyxes faster than the Mandarin Cookies.. I can tell the ETHOS Cookies is gonna stack some fat ass colas! The ETHOS Cookies runoff is doing good.. pH going in is 6.2 - 6.3 and runoff is usually 6.0 - 6.2.. Foliage is nice and green.. She may be nitrogen sensitive deeper into flower.. Maybe not.. We shall see.. As for the Mandarin Cookies.. Wow.. This girl is super tall.. She is also stackin calyxes, pistils and nicely. The runoff is still giving me issues but as far as I can tell, she is accepting it and making the best of what she has. Going in pH is 6.2 - 6.3.. Runoff is coming out 5.6 - 5.7.. It's bothering the shit outta me! Lol.. It doesn't seem to matter what pH I put in, it will ALWAYS runoff at 5.6 - 5.7 pH.. But like I said.. She is accepting it as long as I keep the "in" pH in my preferred range.. I usually keep the "going in" pH at 6.1 - 6.3 the ENTIRE grow.. I always get great results doing this.. Its best for Calcium uptake and Calcium is a huge issue when it comes to growing in coco coir.. Anyways.. Both ladies are doing great.. Both look gorgeous and healthy.. Oh yeah!! I like to rub the trichomes to get a little idea of what the terpenes are gonna be like.. And hoooooly shit.. ETHOS Cookies smells like nothing I've ever smelled before.. I can't even begin to explain it.. Literally.. And the Mandarin Cookies is starting to give off a nice citrusy scent.. I hope this carbon filter is able to scrub the air enough.. Cuz if these are anything like the Early Lemon Berry, then yeah, this carbon filter is gonna be put thru the ultimate test lol.. Anyways.. On to the next week!....
