The Mentha de Croco sprouts are officially a week in, and they’re already showing off their unique personality, each one growing at its own pace. They’re rocking some funky vibes and loving life inside the dome! Here’s a full update on their progress, care, and setup for Week 1. Living Environment: The Humidity Dome Setup The seedlings are living in a humidity dome, where we’re keeping the relative humidity (RH) close to 100%. This level of RH mimics a tropical environment, creating the ideal conditions for delicate young plants that need extra hydration support as they begin to develop roots and leaves. Why High Humidity? • Encourages Strong Root Development: At nearly 100% RH, plants focus on root growth while pulling in moisture directly from the air, helping them establish themselves early on. • Protects from Stress: The high humidity reduces transpiration (water loss through leaves), which prevents drying and keeps seedlings hydrated. • Promotes Healthy Leaf Growth: With constant access to moisture, the leaves expand smoothly, giving each plant a strong start in the vegetative phase. Growth Status & Observations 🌱 These little mutants are showing some funky characteristics and growing at their own unique pace—a perfect reminder that no two plants are the same! Each seedling has sprouted its initial set of leaves, and I’m seeing great promise in their vigor and resilience. Key Observations: • Color: The seedlings are a healthy green, with some displaying slight variances in shade—typical of unique genetics like Mentha de Croco. • Structure: Leaves are developing steadily, with short internodes (the space between sets of leaves) that hint at nice, compact growth patterns as they continue. • Energy: Each plant seems to be finding its rhythm, which is a beautiful thing to watch! Some are taking their time, while others are diving right into rapid growth. Nutrients & Supplements 💧 For this first week, I’m keeping it light on nutrients, letting the seedlings draw what they need from the Root Riots and the remaining seed stores. However, I’ve continued using Aptus Holland’s Regulator and Startbooster, both at 1ml/L, to support foundational growth. Why These Nutrients? • Aptus Regulator: Adds silicon to fortify cell walls, giving the seedlings extra strength to handle environmental changes. Even under the dome, this helps build resilience. • Aptus Startbooster: Supplies essential microbes and root stimulators, setting up these little ones for explosive root growth once they’re ready to venture outside the dome. Lighting: FOG LED & Environmental Control 💡 I’ve kept the Future of Grow (FOG) 600W LED dimmed to around 200 PPFD to avoid overwhelming these tender seedlings with too much light. They’re getting just enough energy to support healthy photosynthesis without stressing them in their early stages. Lighting Benefits at Low Intensity: • Prevents Stretching: With the lower PPFD, plants stay compact and focused on root and leaf development rather than reaching for the light. • Supports Early Photosynthesis: The FOG LED’s balanced spectrum provides all the wavelengths these seedlings need to kick off photosynthesis and grow with vitality. Controlled through the TrolMaster Tent X, the lighting schedule is consistent and stable. With this controller, I can manage humidity, lighting, and temperature settings all from one place, ensuring the environment stays perfect for these little ones. I feel like both my Ladies are doing great. I been checking the Trichromes and they are still clear. I'm thinking maybe a few more weeks before harvest. I also stopped giving them nutrients, I hope I'm doing that correctly.

24/05/2023 - 82 days since my little girl sprouted from a seed🌱 Tenth week of my Hella Jelly 🍮🍮🍮 Nutrients: Advanced Nutrients Flawless Finish - 2ml - I rinse the plants two weeks before harvesting so that they have a clean taste and smell 😋👃🌴 -------------------------------------------------- ----------------------------------- Lights: I use a Mars Hydro TS1000 - 150w full spectrum, great light for vegetation and flowering use 💡💡 Training: No training is needed this week In general: Hella Jelly's trichomes are milky white, they densely cover her buds, so that they look like snowy mountains 🏔️❄️ I think I could harvest it in a week 🌿🌾 Thanks for the likes and you can follow me on Twitter 🐦: @ Targona666 See you soon 😍

Had some issues with humidity was over 67% for 3 days

Well this week kicks off w5 of flower for unknown and a new 3w nute feed. She’s been putting on some frost and hopefully will continue 🤞… Again just continuing to keep the girls happy. Unknown more than wwa but, I’m still learning and there’s definitely room for improvement. wwa has been doing her thing and this starts w10. I think she’s almost ready, just ordered a magnifier to check trichomes!!! Hopefully I can keep up the good work all the way to curing and finish with a complete 1st grow under the belt 🤷‍♂️😎. Transplanted 7 days ago they are back into high gear. Two different phenos is nice to see also nice to be back in flowering with colder weather on the horizon. Regular Gaia Green amendment mix of 4-4-4, 2-8-4, kelp meal, EWC & Glacial Rock Dust. No issues with Mg, finally solved with the rock dust. Plants looks out of shape ever so slightly it’s cause I’ve been leaf tucking. No under carriage bs going on here and I only removed dozen lower nodes on the biggest that’s it. Trying to maintain plant height will be near impossible, plant elevators will be a must. Still no signs of pistils I’ll need to look under canopy further to see. The higher PK food will be kicking in just now and should help with the shift in priorities. Both drink 1.5L every 2 day's at Day 35

Reviewing the plants i noted some small dots on the leaves which looked like typical bites from mites, so i sprayed some spidermite and we placed around 6 spical ulti-mite bags to prevent any further damage, lets hope it dont get worse but i think I've detected them just on time 😁 For the rest the plants are looking good, the buds are getting bigger and more thc is being produced 😁 we still have around 4 weeks to go 😅

Got this seed from the the purple cookie kush v1 surprisingly she sprung up…hopefully it’s a fem but a male would be nice for some pollen. Whatever comes I’m ready.

She smells like straight cake! She is super sweet smelling and I can’t wait to try her :) I’m gonna let the main colas cure for a few days but for the rest I’ll be smoking it without curing and so far it’s really good and has me pretty high lol

This week, Cheese developed a lot of hairs, gave her a good feeding rising the nutes, as this plant eats a lot... Aroma is getting so intense, for sure this is a true Skunk ^^, but not cheese smell at the moment By the end of this week started fattening the buds.. She is so healthy... Talking about irrigations, im doing this in the moorning and later an afternoon flush when the sun goes down(Not flushing since second week of flowering) -------- Good vibes !

We are starting flowering this week, the transition period was 24h of darkness from May 11th to 12th. A few days after changing the light time we noticed the first pistils appearing (May 18th), then we took two clones from the bottom and removed a few leaves from them.

2/1 Week 12! Re-introducing the Peak PK in low dose as I begin to migrate the plant to all Peak and then flush I hope all in less than two weeks. Will step things daily, tomorrow it will be 10 ml CT 10 ml Peak with an eye on the ppm. You get the idea, she has to finish and fast. Valuable lesson, don't have anything ever backed up behind a sativa grow waiting on them to finish, it aint worth it. Grow em at the end of a cycle. 2/2 put the feed at 12ml CT 7ml Peak thought maybe its too much of a swing, tomorrow 10 and 10 2/3 10ml of each this morning. Got to move things along, new plan is to begin flush at start of new week this weekend, At flush changing lights to 12/12 , binding her back up just a little, then placing one of the testers on a stand in the tent to take pressure off the veg tent. 5-7 days later we harvest based on what we see. We cannot come up with anything better As far as growth she is doing great, its a heavy plant and the hairs are still straight and 95% white! Build so fast 2/4 All is well Tara really seems to like the 10-10 dose so leaving it for now. Changed light schedule to match the veg tent. This is to accommodate the near arrival of one of the photos. In a few days the plant will have to finish off at 12-12 so the photo can flip. Not ideal but practical from our point of view. Keeping our hopes up here and uttering my characteristic prayer... Please God dont let me foul this up... Amen 2/5 Feeding as before Had to bind her up a bit, she is so heavy we were afraid of her toppling over. Seriously this plant is TOP HEAVY. Which is good I guess 😬 Not flushing till I see it is time, not messing this one up. Dont get plants like this everyday. 2/7 Ending the week with a full tent again Switched lights to 12-12 and bound her up to fit in half the tent, we literally could not come up with anything else for this. She just keeps going and going lol DRY WEIGHT ON RIPLEY! 261 grams Hoped for more but meh sativas. Still nothing to sneeze at 😇

Hello Diary. Looking back, it was another great trip. Titan F1 enters my list of my favorite strains. I think I wrote more or less everything that happened earlier, so I will continue to write the further course of events. Basically, I watered the plants two days before I harvested the Titan F1, because the two plants in the grow box were still maturing (Apollo F1 and Milky Way F1). I cut Titan at the bottom of the stand and hung the cut branches in a cardboard box to dry. As the flowers were very packed, the excess water in the plant created a lot of humidity and the best flowers went moldy. Unfortunately, I didn't manage to take photos because my wife immediately threw them away so as not to contaminate the rest. No messing around with mold. So the result is the following: Moldy flowers - 17g Good flowers - 48g Total of dried flowers Titan F1 - 65g If the mold hadn't happened, it would have been a good harvest. But the thing is, I have the other almost 50 g to enjoy. Thank you all for your support and I hope that this diary will encourage someone to try this great strain. Five for Titan F1.
