11/03/18 Everything is going well. No issues at all. Plucking a leaf here n there but no real defoilation. Between the Black Magic Soil, and AACT this run has been smooth sailing no deficiencies or leaf damage at all. Humidity still cranked up to make up for the lack of humidity in veg. Will reduce over the next few weeks. 11/05/18 Decided to defoilate today. The plants always look sad to me and I feel bad. They always recover though and come back better then ever!

I hung the full plant upside down for 24hrs. I then hung the individual branches. I left the branches big and I didn’t trim the buds as I wanted to dry slowly. They hung in the dark room with temperature at 21 degrees and humidity at 58% for a week. I then removed the buds from the branches and placed them in a drying net for another few day before jarring. Smell isfantastic.

Day 43 Just added another circulation fan a 7’ as I realistically won’t be getting my humidity under 50% come late flowering it’ll be more between 50-60% at lights out so got to keep her moving about. Upped bloom again when fed yesterday. Day 48 Gave her another feed today upped the nutes again

This week I decided to remove the LST and let her strech out as much as she wants. I lollipopped her on day 49 and cutted down all the branches that will never grow to the light. She has to strech as much as possible because there are some way taller plants under the same light. I hope she gonna produce some nice flower and will continue to strach abit. Week 3: Noticed she started to look a little droopy on me and some slight yellowing on the lower leaves, she was outgrowing the solo cup and I think she needed some nutes so I transplanted her into some fresh soil, I am using a mix of ocean forest and coco so that should give her all the nutrients she needs for the next couple of weeks until it’s time to top dress with some Gaia green. This is an organic grow and I’m just using dechlorinated tap water. Confident she will bounce back and hopefully she didn’t stunt too much

Another easy week for the chibans. I feel bad i did not include little chiban 2 in the diary. She was topped a while back and is much much smaller then her sister but her structure and growth i am pleased with. Glad i kept her now.. Number 1 is just a monster!! i cut her i have snapped and bent her but each time i come out the next day and she has just repaired whatever i have done and im sure if she could she would be holding her middle finger up at me as i walked in!! She is huge (relative to the space i have) I have never spent so much effort on past grows maintaing the perfect enviroment as i have on this grow and what it has shown me is huge.. Get this right and it seems they just do their thing.. Now she is flipped and in pre flower i am a little scared of what she will become.. Good job my tiny grow space is over 2M tall. Feeding is strange as they dont want too much. At the start of potting i mixed in ecothrive charge into the substrate and i have to say this stuff is amazing. I gave the first feed of nutes to these i think a week ago and it was a weak mix of grow and it gave them talons on the leaf tips which i took as a sign of N toxicity. So i think i could have stretched another week out of just water and beneficials. I will remember for next run. thats it really, i will be keeping an eye this week on the enviroment again as previous weeks and watching for any changes in requirements. Harvest time for the Gorilla cookies from fast buds. Grown just under a 100w ts600 from Mars hydro, this strain grew more than I expected, but cannot complain with the harvest. Now let’s dry these buds & will do a smoke report when they’re ready to 💨

Day 30 Top dressed each 5 gal 444 gia green 1.5 tbsp Kelp meal 1tbsp Super fly insect frass. 1 tbsp .5 tbsp of mykos. 1 Tsp glacial rock dust Feed microbial tea. Day 29 and 30. 24 and 48 brew. Crab meal half cup per 5 gal Alfalfa meal half cup per 5 gal I think some humic granual acid for nutrient uptake. Can’t remember Also spread out red wiggler worms “equally” to each pot. Topped some plants after video. Will update in a few days of response to topping. Day 34 last day of week 4 veg. Set the auto water system up. video update showing the system and each plant. Runt gelato does not have auto water. I’ve got 1 to many pots in my veg tent currently.

Day 64 🌤️🌥️☁️☁️ 11-19 degrees and the humidity is around 65%. I started into the tenth week with an intense check of the main buds. Some of the trichomes are milky but the most are still clear. Maybe I‘m wrong. Some days ago I could spot some amber trichomes but the flowers expanded and it‘s not possible to find anymore amber ones. Watered 500ml pure rainwater. Day 65 🌤️☁️🌥️☁️ Today Tropicana needs a rest. She just want to sit and do nothing except waiting for sunshine warming her heart. In the evening she asked for water, potting soil lost enough weight. 600ml with 60ml light fermented flower and herb tee. ~100 ml drainage with PH 6,2. In the main flower it was possible to find a small amount of amber trichomes. Day 66 🌤️⛅️🌤️🌤️ 10-21 degrees, humidity 45-65%. This morning I understood, that Tropicana was not thirsty yesterday, she need to breath oxygen with her roots to feel happy. The beautiful smell is way not so intense since last night. I missed the strong smell when I opened the door to our balcony in the early morning. So no watering yesterday would be better. And my banana peel tee is not free of nitrogen, same with the herb and flower tee. Less is more will be written in my diary in the next days (weeks). Watching Trichome TV: I see more amber and I see that she needs more time after all this stress which I made for her. She told me that she is not only sick of water, she told me, that she hate to be moved all the time, too. Every move from A to B she would loose tiny roots and this would stress her a lot. When I checked the moisture I spotted too many of this root fly castings. Their mamas and papas had their orgie about a week ago and now they are eating the mulch layer roots as if there will be no morning. This is not Tropicanas day. But the sun is shining and tomorrow will be another day. Hopefully with a nose full of this tasty fruity and woody citrus smell. Day 67 🌧️☁️☁️☁️ 13-19 degrees, humidity 42-80%. This morning the smell was more intensive like yesterday but still not like before. The leafs show the first signs of fading and I‘m very nervous. This night will fall a lot of rain for several hours. But a part of our balcony is canopied, so Tropicana will be a little bit protected by me this night. I don‘t want to make another mistake, so I use this possibility. Anyway the plants are always wet after a strong rain, it‘s just a little canopy, but not soaked with water. Day 68 🌧️☁️⛅️🌤️ 15-21 degrees and the humidity is 74-85%. Tropicana feels better. The smell this morning was much more intensive then the days before. Day 69 ⛅️🌤️🌥️☁️ 15-22 degrees, humidity 46-89%. Tropicanas flowers are swelling and while she is maturing her smell is getting more intense and complex. Right now mandarin and an earthy woody smell, sometimes even a bit sour like a mixture of pineapple and lime juice. It‘s possible to find new colors in the flowers. There’s purple and pink, orange and ocher brown appeared. Tropicanas main flower looks like the harvest time is near, but the trichomes are still clear and just started to get milky. Anyway she is incredible fast, especially if to remember the extrem conditions with minimal temperature around ten degrees in the early mornings. Day 70 🌧️☁️☁️🌧️ 17-23 degrees, humidity 63-94%. In the next days we will have humid thunderstorm weather. There is even a warning for huge hailstones for tomorrow. So there is a risk of damage and mold because of high humidity. I will have an eye on this. Tropicana looks healthy, so I‘m not worrying too much anymore.

Day 40 They are into full flowering and I went at max with Advanced Nutrients; 4ml per lt. With my t-Rex super soil i don’t need much ppm so I will give such amount of fertilizers only for this week. Going back to 3ml per lt the next week.

Beginning of week.. This is the last and final week for sure for sure lol.. That makes 10 weeks from 12/12.. And by the trichomes they should both be prefect!.. With the Mandarin Cookiea having just a tad bit more amber than the ETHOS Cookies.. They both should have plenty.. This week may be cut a day short.. Because the only day I can find time to harvest will be the day before the next week starts.. The last day of the week (end of week).. And I want to go ahead and try the 48 hours of darkness thing once more.. To see if it may have any effect.. I guess if alot of people already do it.. What can it hurt??.. Anyways.. Still just giving rainwater.. Lately it has gone down on the PPM side.. Niceeee.. I was going to get some distilled and run it through (0 - 10 PPM) but the rainwater is at 15 - 17 PPM.. That's close enough for me.. Maybe still run a gallon of distilled the day before I begin the 48 hours of darkness thing-a-ma-doodle lol.. Today.. This is what happened... Going in: 17 PPM at 6.9 pH for both.. Run off: Mandarin Cookies was 100 PPM at 5.9 pH and the ETHOS Cookies was 54 PPM at 6.0 pH.. I think the Mandarin Cookies needs to be flushed a bit more before I feel comfortable with the flushing.. I believe its fine to not flush for a whole 2 weeks at 0 PPM or whatever.. But I do like to get it down pretty low by harvest time.. But I think everything will be fine.. Just gotta make sure I dont fuck up the drying 😬😬😬 Mid week.. Almost there!!! So excited! Can't wait! Got both runoffs at 50 PPM.. Just been watering as usual.. Both of these strains are going to be epic af! I think tomorrow will be the last day of lights on.. Going to begin the pre-harvest dark period to hopefully increase trichome/thc production or whatever it does 😂😂😂 if this bud ends up better than anything I've ever grown then I will do it every grow!.. But we shall see!!! End of week.. No pics this update.. They are both bathing in complete darkness for a couple days then CHOP!... Haven't even peaked at them.. They both should be on point! So happy for this to be just days away from going into jars!!! I've already cut a small branch from the Mandarin Cookies and dried it for 5 days.. A little faster then I wanted.. But wow.. It tasted immaculate.. I removed every leaf I could.. Leaving just the calyxes.. No chlorophyll.. Not really enough to get a buzz from.. Plus that was like 2 weeks ago.. So it was still too early for any decent amounts of THC.. But the taste is delicious af!.. I will take some pics before the chop and post them for the "end of this week" since it is going to be a day early anyway.. End of week.. Nvm lol.. Took some pics before harvesting and here they are! Week 5 temperature increased to 30c and RH reduced to 55%. We decreased the distance of the light from 50cm to 35cm. We ve seen a big stretch this week. We increased the dose of the base nutes and we applied topping and HST( super cropping) last week in 2 of the 3 crystal meth. In the rest of the plants we plan to only use defoliation. Crystal meth and Fastberry appear to be the most mature in the tent even though they are different phenos. Gorilla glue (2x the same pheno) with jack 47 (4x the same pheno) are following. Cream mandarin XL (x4 same pheno) are the tallest plants and they just started to burst pistils. Girl scout cookies are the least mature plants.
