Monday 16/06/2025, start of week 5. The stretch is underway and has been for a few days, happy with how she looks health-wise currently although I've made some mistakes along the way that she has had to recover from. i made one final tuck under the net on day 29 (17/06/2025) although it's not a proper scrog by any stretch of the imagination, it's helped keep the canopy level so the side branching could catch up, and I'm letting her go now, hoping she stretches a good 20-30cm but we will see. Day 30, fed at 1.2ec, was probably 12 hours late on the watering as she did not look happy at all, bounced straight back though once fed. Day 31, not much to report, a lighter shade on the newest growth but to be expected at this stage, I've pinched a few of the lower fan leaves over the last few days. Day 32 backed the lights off slightly as the leaves were looking a little light stressed. Day 34, fed with calmag and water only at 0.4 ec, forgot to ph it down but hopefully it won't matter too much in soil, she's had a good stretch over the last day or 2. 22/06/2025, end of week 5, happy with the progress this week, pinched a few more leaves today and reorganised the canopy a bit, had a bit of a heatwave over the last few days so had to increase the humidity to compensate, this also helped with the temps although she did have to deal with temps around 28c for quite a few hours and up to 29c for a very short time, didn't seem to have any ill effects though, temps now settled back around 26c. Looking forward to seeing some bud development in the upcoming week.

Tequila Sunrise - Week 7: Slug Attack! But This Señorita's a Fighter ¡Ay caramba! This week with Tequila Sunrise has been a real telenovela, growmies! Just when I thought things were heating up with the flowering fiesta, WHAM! Enter the evil-doers, the nefarious villains... the SLUGS! Seriously, folks, when I saw my little señorita on Friday, I swear I could've cried. Those slimy devils had gone to town, leaving a trail of destruction in their wake. Leaves munched, flower parts devoured - it was a scene straight out of a horror movie! To add insult to injury, I unearthed a whole gang of the culprits - nine fat, brown slugs of all sizes chilling in the soil. The audacity! But here's the thing: Tequila Sunrise ain't going down without a fight! In a stroke of genius (or maybe just desperation), I decided to elevate her to a plastic chair throne. Apparently, slugs are like nightclub bouncers - they don't like high places (gettit?! ;). And guess what? It worked! The next two nights, not a single slimy visitor dared to approach. Victory, at least for now! Despite the slug buffet, Tequila Sunrise even managed to pull off a respectable 10cm growth spurt this week. This girl's a fighter, that's for sure. Weeds are called weeds for a reason, right? They're tough as nails, and Tequila Sunrise is no exception. So, here's the plan, amigos: let's send some good vibes this señorita's way. With a little luck and some continued anti-slug warfare, she might just bounce back from this brutal attack and still deliver a decent harvest. We believe in you, Tequila Sunrise! Show those slimy suckers what a true party queen is made of! This week, I encountered a few issues after switching them to 12/12. The plants have shot up to an extreme height, and it feels like things are getting a bit out of hand! I'm trying to manage the situation using some super cropping techniques to control the excessive stretching. Thankfully, as we're now approaching the end of week 3, the plants are starting to focus on bulking up their buds. As you might notice in one or two photos, a couple of tops touched the panel in the last 24 hours, and I didn't catch it in time. This resulted in a small loss, with part of a top getting a bit scorched. We'll have to wait and see how it recovers. If anyone has any suggestions on why they've stretched so much, I'd really appreciate the insight! Catch you all next week!

Another good week! I fed them once on Monday. A final shot to boost them for finishing up. I am pretty certain they will finish within 2 weeks.I also watered them on Thursday and today (Sunday). I defoliated both plants earlier this week as well. For one, I needed to open the canopy up to help keep the humidity down but, there were a lot of leaves yellowing and turning brown. I was not feeding them correctly... in the sense that I wasn't watering enough in between feeds. There were excess nutrients built up in the soil and I believe that led to the nutrient burn. Also, this was my first and only feed without the Grow Big due to flushing for week 9. I followed the Fox Farm feed schedule... but, I think I needed to understand my plants better! I also believe I stunted these girls! One is about 24" tall and the other is 21" tall. Both on the very low end of the growth chart. Overall, I am very happy!! So much to experience and learn in such a short window of time! I've thoroughly enjoyed this grow! I look forward to the harvest and experiencing all that is to come! One last thing... Anyone use GrowBuddy and any word on what is going on with the current download? I've followed the drama around taking so long and all that (the new hardware soon to be for sale for 2.0)... but, the website now says the software is available for free and working on Macs and Windows.... So, I downloaded it last night and I cannot activate an account. Everything has a greyed over kind of look... So, I assume they took some part of their servers offline... I'm pretty sure I either overwatered a bit or gave them to much supplements. I think in the future i'll skip calmag and rapidstart in bushdoctor. also water every other day. I think i got over anxious. Hoping they snap out of it! _______________________________________________________________________________ Ha!!! I'm just a negative nilly! I was rushing things. These ladies are GREAT!!!! I think after that first set of leaves the plants takes a few days to grow that tap root THEN pushes that leaf growth!!!! Nearing the end of the week I couldn't be happier with things!!! I added a ghetto DIY humidifier to to get tent up till I can water plants a bit more, but this new tent is working out AWESOME! I'm hoping my time lapse is working now too so we will have a nice little treat when things are done!

WEEK 6: LST & Defoliation every 2-3 days. Botanicare pro bloom: increase to 14 ml/gal. Golden Tree: increase to 2 ml/gal. Cal-Mag: kept at 5 ml/gal. Hydroguard: 2 ml/gal. Thirst: 1 gal (nut sol) every 3-4 days. Take this to be Transition Week 1, not officially in flower yet.

A microbe product, PH going into the medium is around 6.5-6.8 and coming out is between 5.5-5.8, so something is acidifying it up. Also noticed the runoff last week was a bit higher at times. So lowered the feed down quite a bit, going in at 1.4EC vs 1.8 will bump it up to 1.5 and 1.6 in the next few weeks. I also added in a bit of a PK booster. nothing to crazy only 60ppm worth on a total allowance of 700PPM Lights now running at 100% with V1 spectrum, decided to go with 100% now vs after stretch, will see how it works out.
