This one was planted in coco, perlite, and worm castings. Due to this being practically the first time I've used this mix without adding the peat based "light mix," I had not realised how quickly the pots will dry out, especially during the high water consumption of the flowering stage. I realise that I need to be treating it as pure coco. This can be fantastic, for example, if you have just one pot/plant and can provide all the waterings and monitoring continually and regularly. This tends to make you use more nutrients than necessary, as personally I find it difficult to use just plain water. I think many of us still can't help the feeling that we should be adding things to every watering. Therefore, when the frequency of the waterings increases, we are still adding nutrients EVERY time. Which is an overall increase in nutrients, too. For my part, I'm cutting the amount of nutrients per watering. I feel like nutrients are a bit of a crutch to growers. I'm still getting used to the coco and the waterings, but I am really enjoying it. If you don't check your plants multiple times a day, it may not be the best choice of substrate. For me, I'd much rather the pots dry quickly because it reduces the chances of mould and mildew, which I'm always concerned about. The pot was actually top dressed with Canna Terra Soil Mix, as the company I'd purchased from sent the wrong item, and I couldn't get it sorted in time. This has really annoyed me as my top dress went mouldy, and I had to remove the top 1cm. After I used this, that soil became compacted and has remained that way since. Due to this, I would much rather not use these types of substrates. 28.5.25: Watered 1.5ltrs with Trace PH 6.4. 29.5.25: I took everything off the timer and am now running 24/0 light schedule. I want to make the most out of what light is available. The plants need it. My tent is underpowered in that department, so increasing the duration of the light is all I can realistically do. Flowering day 70 since the time change to 12/12 h. Hey everyone 😃. The time has come . We arrived in the last week before the harvest 😍. The plants were flushed the last time and are left to stand again for the next 2 days so that the pots are not too wet before they are then put in the darkroom for 48 hours. The trichomes are 70% milky and 30% amber 👍. After 48 hours in the darkroom, it is harvested . Of course, there will be an interim update before the last update 👍. So I heard that matterhorn is an unstable plant but I never thought it was so unstable. One fenotype are doing well but plants from another mother are struggling. I checked the condition every day and every day the EC dropped and the pH rose. Which meant eating, but still showing problems on the leaves. During this period I made a mistake with the water temperature, namely when the water temperature is above 20 ° C the oxygen in the water drops drastically and these were the beginnings of my root problems. I didn't know it then, but later root rot appeared.

Hello everyone! The week went well, and our girl has grown even more, so she'll soon reach the lamp. We're feeding her with 1600-2200 ppm, and she's happy with it. I'll try to take photos outside the box next week. Thanks to everyone for following my diary, leaving comments, and hitting the likes.

New grow, started December 8, 2020. From clones.

Spring is here in the grow room. I've swapped the lights over to Bloom and Veg for the final 5 weeks. It seems like Samantha was struggling with my poorly mixed soil. In the rush I forgot to mix in the worm castings properly. Hopefully, she will settle down. Still, haven't added and nutrients. Still not watering that much. The pine bark muclch seems to be working well. They look healthy and happy. Keep going girls!

Day 14: Still not much sun this week or higher temperatures. Therefore my plants don't grow faster and thicker. Just bit by bit. Also because of the lower temperatures, my medium doesn't dry up and the roots don't drink that much, so I can't water them often. If I would water them everyday or once per 2 days, they will get soaked, roots will rot and the plant will turn lightgreen and stop growing. I gues the same climate temperature will continu for another 2 weeks, meaning that my plants won't veg into maximum size before going into flowering. Let see how it goes and hopefully i'm mistaken. 7/15/2023 Day 11 Veg: watered again today, and added some Pure Protein Dry, BuildASoil Big 6, Rootwise Bio-Catalyst, and Yah-Whey Thrive. Also did a light foliar feed with the Pure Protein Dry as well. She still looks healthy so far. 7/17/2023: I appear to have a shore fly issue. This is a first for me. Delt with fungus gnats before, but these look like little flies. Need to start some IPM. Brewing a neem seed and mosquito bit tea, which I plan to do a soil drench with tomorrow. Will probably throw in some Dr. Zymes as well. I also have some beneficial nematodes I plan to add. We'll see how that works. 7/18/2023: watered with the tea I made yesterday, but instead of adding Dr. Zymes I added Lost Coast Plant Therapy. Also added the beneficial nematodes. 7/20/2023: the shore fly population seems to have declined, but it is still too early to tell. They are definitely in the earthbox, so I'm going to let it dry down more to see if that helps too. Roots are growing out of the bottom of the solo cup, but I'm going to wait another couple weeks before transplanting. 7/21/2023: watered with just plain water at a 6.2 ph.

🌾 Harvest Day — The Grand Finale of the Eternity Grow Cup 🌾 Days 72–73 | Trimmed on May 25 | Posted May 27 What a journey this has been — and what a finish. These five incredible Runtz phenos have now completed their cycle, and today, we celebrate the final stage of their flowering life: the Harvest. We sent the girls into darkness on Day 70, allowing them a full 48+ hours of rest and reset. The dark period was just a bit longer, truth be told, because time… it flows as it must. This extended dark time helps increase resin production, allowing the trichomes to mature just that final bit more. On Days 72 and 73, we harvested them with care and reverence. Each plant was hung upside down, whole, in a perfectly controlled 60% humidity environment for 13 full days. Before hanging, we gently removed only the fan leaves, leaving all trichome-rich sugar leaves in place — a natural armor for the delicate resin glands during drying. Why do we do this? Because those sugar leaves help protect the essential oils and terpenes, preserving potency, flavor, and aroma for the smoothest experience later on. 🌿 The Dry Room & The Trichome Guardians Throughout the drying, we used a moisture meter to monitor the moisture content in the stems. Once it dropped to around 12–13%, we knew it was time. This tool is a simple but game-changing ally in ensuring a perfect dry — not too fast, not too slow. We then trimmed everything by hand over a 6.5-hour focused session. Armed with trim bins and good energy, we collected an abundance of glistening trichome heads in the process — a golden bonus from these resin-packed beauties. The leaves themselves told a story: deep purples, near-black shades, autumn fades and metallic tones — just stunning. Each girl was trimmed in order: #5 → #4 → #3 → #2 → #1, revealing dense, chunky buds all the way from top to bottom. Not a single pop-corn bud among them — only rock-solid nugs, heavyweight champions in every sense. 📦 Cure Begins – Grove Bags & Glass Jars Once trimmed, the buds were tucked carefully into Grove Bags and glass jars, each stabilized at around 61% RH. The Grove Bags handle the microclimate beautifully, keeping humidity between 58–61%, perfect for preserving all that hard-earned quality. We’re now opening the jars daily, monitoring aroma and feel. The UV pushed trichome development to the max. The deep reds gave us thickness, color, and weight. To my eyes, this was a perfect run. ⚖️ Final Yield: 1,302 Grams (1.3 kg) In a 4x4 tent — that’s just 1.2m x 1.2m for metric friends — we pulled in 1,302 grams of flower, not even counting the buds that were taken for filming, photos, or “quality control testing” along the way. 😉 Dense. And this time, I wanted to honor them too. When we unpotted the plants after harvest, we were met with massive, dense root systems, completely filling the Autopot trays. These roots were vibrant, white and healthy, looking like noodles in a thick herbal soup — a true sign of vitality. Cambio el periodo de luz a 12/12 y impregnó con 5ml de Delta 9 por un litro de agua sobre las plantas por encima y debajo de las hojas de la planta por el tallo y básicamente por toda la planta.. para quien no lo haya echo nunca esto hay que hacerlo justo antes de que apaguen las luces y justo cuando cambiemos el fotoperiodo a 12/12 esto acelerará en un estado metabólico de la planta de un estado natural con macro y micronutrientes facilitando la creación de terpenos sabor y olor característicos de la cepa (esto lo hice el día después de las fotos se verán los cambios en la siguiente semana) parece que todo va bien la carencia pasada se corrigió aunque esta semana doblando un tallo para que no creciera mas una de las gorilas se partió escuché un crujido y había partido un poco el tallo le puse cinta y todo parece ir bien corto el biogrow no necesito que crezcan mucho más no tengo mucho más espacio unas cepas muy buenas buen tamaño buena apariencia y buen olorcito 😍😋 espero que salgan rápido estas flores que seguro se van a ver increíbles! Really nice plant to grow the high is nice and mellow, if I was to do this strainbagain I'd try go for the photoperiod to give her more potential but over all great grow and fantastic jar appeal.

Green Cure cbd auto is looking to be a neat grow. I did some lst today on her and selective defoliation. She has started showing her first pistils. I need to start double watering her in a day. She has been getting dried out. So I will be starting to do thar. Everything is looking great. She looks like she may develop into a nice looking bush. I am curious to see how she turns out.
