Heeey!! Guess who missed the watering schedule again! 😳 At least my babies recovered fast... but heat where I live is just crazy right now! The average of this week was 30° C (86° F, which is veeery high) but there were some days that I reached 33° C (91° F) 😲 My girl also reached the size of 71cm. Somewhat less than what I was expecting but the buds are getting bigger and more beautiful, so I don't really care right about that. The smell is also getting stronger. Also Matcha isn't going to grow much more but her branches are full of beautiful flowers and I think she might end getting a little more resinous than her sister. Maybe she has a different phenotype? 😮 Her leaves are also darker and "harder" (probably it's the nutrients) if you compare them to Pistachio, maybe that's a sign? (besides her size). Hi growers, sorry for the prolonged absence, but in this last period I was very busy. In this last week I cut one of the four Cheese and finished cutting the buds today. The other three plants are in the sea of green and each has different flowering times. In my SOG under the HPS lamp there are now several strains besides the three Cheese. I have a Gorilla with photoperiodic genetic prevalence that is completing its life cycle and is now four months old, but very large and productive. Then there are a Lemon Haze, a Sweet Tooth, an Amnesia Haze and a Gorilla that have now begun their flowering phase. All the other strains are in the vegetative phase and two Zkittlez and two Cream Cookies from Fastbuds are added to my secret garden 😋 April 12. Last week I started scoring the first 79 grams collected for the month of April with the first Cheese. There are three left in my SOG, two of which are in an advanced state of flowering. The third plant is the background of my SOG, it is the mutilated one. It has produced many long branches that I have enlarged and has now begun its flowering phase.

So this week we have a heatwave witht 30 degrees celcius,looking good so far except the smallest one. she is a week or so younger but stays fairly small,but looks healthy. cheers!

Weened off the veg nutes completely. I'm pretty much done messing with the scrog from here as well. From here on it's monitoring the plant health until flush and that's it.

Wow ten weeks already. Haven’t Seen Any sex traits yet Thinking girls. Been Have issues with temp. My grow area has been warm. High 80 (87-89.). Tips are showing some like heat stress and correlation to high temps. Did some lst in areas My solution now is to try and and keep ey adjust fans open door and so on. But later. My next grow. I Will Be adding legs to the box to get it up off the floor more. More air circulation.

11/3 - Today is technically the first day of Week 5 and also the first day I could see a visible drop in her water level since her last check-in (~12 hours apart). As a result, her ppms shot up to around 800. I diluted the solution with straight tap (7.5pH, 170ppm) since her pH was registering around 5.3. This brought her up to 5.6pH and 670ppm (1.0ec + tap, 500ppm of nutrients). I would have liked to adjust her pH more, but the water level ended up at the bottom of the basket. I'll adjust further as necessary. The other day while attempting to LST her top branches, they ended up snapping off, so I just topped her down one node and broadened her other LST to make her as squat as possible. Once I am able to find a suitable individual ScrOG screen, I will put it on her. 11/4 - I wasn't even planning on doing an update today, but I want to note a few changes. The first of which is a visible difference between her foliage density in a span of 36 hours. Her root bundle is over a foot long and getting more wound up every day. I removed her LST ties in order to take advantage of the ScrOG screen apparatus (see notes below). After lights came back on, she measured 645ppm and had another notable drop in water level. Currently, I am preparing another nutrient solution that closely matches what she is feeding on now. I will be upgrading her to a 5 gallon bucket. I will be aiming for 1ec of nutrients/additives (500ppm + Tap on my meter, Hanna Primo .5 conversion). Tap measured 180ppm, so target ppm would be 680. Later that same day... So I finished upgrading her to a 5 gallon bucket before I actually got done writing the update. Added one photo showing new 5 gallon setup. Solo ScrOG test mk1 - In an attempt to do a ScrOG, but maintain control over each bucket, while still having relatively easy access to each reservoir, I decided to throw together this little contraption. I removed the lowest complete segment of a tomato cage, leaving a short "tail" beyond the lower ring to act as a peg to insert into corresponding holes in the lid. The lower ring is 10" in diameter and the upper is approximately 12" in diameter. Each ring is 11" apart. I would prefer to have a shorter segment, but I haven't worked out exactly how to do this yet. I would prefer to set the screen height at around 6" above the bucket instead of 11". This will have to suffice for the time being while I let my latent conscious work out a solution or one is provided by the community. Above each cage will sit a coated wire fence with grids measuring ~2"x3", as shown in the above picture. 11/5 - Uploaded short video showing Solo ScrOG Apparatus in place. The apricot is going hard on the stretch, she loved the LST and although a bit leggy she’s filling out nicely. Gave her a flush before stepping up the nutes and will look to keep spreading her out this week .

This week I’ve noticed a couple of fungus gnats on site. Not so happy, but I will keep my eye on the situation.

Great product makes growing fun

The brightest green in the tent, she is looking happy and wished me a happy Father’s day for the wonderful job I’ve been doing over the past two weeks 🤣. Very simple up to now with simply PH’d water at 6.1. I had read some research in regards of levelS of preferred PH throughout cannabis life cycle and only thing I remember was cannabis prefer acidic soils that we all know but in early stage of life PH water on the lower guidance of 5.8 is preferred as the opposite in late flower 6.3. For my personal experience I’ve been trying this now for the last two grows. Today is premix/transplant day. 3 gallon will be its final pot and should time permit I will do a quick vid tutorial of my mix using Gaia Green. Stay safe n Happy c’est la vie!
