Getting to end of 3rd week getting ready for defoliation

The Plant was transplanted it 0.5 litre pot..

I managed to turn the negative heat temperature in to something positive by introducing co2 to the environment. As a result of the diy co2 method some of branches grew up by 1.5 inches in 2days! Will continue to utilise co2 in the box for now. I also had to adopt the defoliation method Way to many leaves could cause problems by raising the moisture level in the box. As a result of the defoliation a lot of light is reaching the bottom of the box. Which means I can grow other small plants in the box. I switched to bloom NPK ratios. Slowly introducing the raw mix. It’s doing fine and as allways no tip burns

This week is going pretty good too! the bugs seem to be swelling up a little more and getting a little more sugary. I added in a video of another one of my purple punch plants (the one with he purple nugs growing)

Week 7 begins for Mandarin dreams and Divine storm. These ladies are looking happy and healthy, bulking up, putting on weight and glistening with frost. Everything bounced back to normal. These smoothies want a bit of nitrogen throughout veg. 90% of the time when I have an issue it’s because PH or PPM being too high. This wasn’t the case as I ran two tests on my medium and everything was fine. Once i fed them twice with some higher nitrogen levels and some kelp n algae they bounced back in a week. After the first feeding I could notice a nice green coming back into the leaves. I have not flushed once since then. I’ve been feeding a tea every two weeks instead to break up whatever’s left behind. I plan to do one more feed in a couple days and I’m gonna do a light flush with SLF and then continue feeding nutes and teas until she’s ready to be flushed towards harvest.

Empieza una nueva semana de floración, seguimos abonando de forma controlada y regulando pH. Los cogollos ya empiezan a formar bolitas en todos los ápices de las plantas . Crecen con los pistilos muy blancos y en gran cantidad . Seguimos en ello 💚.

12/15: Some plants are taking too long to transition and stretching beyond my space constraints, so I dialed the photoperiod back to 12/12. 12/16: Fed today and rotated edge plants. Added another 150w of 3000k below the canopy. Sucrose Overdose and Muscadine Wines are still stretching...raised lights again. 12/17: Worked on ventilation...no A/C necessary now, as I'm using another AC Infinity 6" fan to intake outdoor air into the closet whenever temps reach 75f..and it's been cold as hell outside.👍 The final trick will be to replace the 6" exhaust fan with an 8" so as to be able to fully exchange the closet air faster ...but that's gonna have to wait til next season. 12/18: Supercropped a Muscie... again... now she's doing the "letter 'S' thang. I'll force the curves tighter over the new few days if she keeps stretching.

🌿 Lava Cake – Week 5 (First Week Flower) | Pre-Bloom & Heat Talk 🌿 The Lava Cakes have officially stepped into their flowering tent… though, to be fair, they’re still enjoying a little extra veg time before showing pistils. Both phenos are healthy, lush, and stretching beautifully, clearly ready for the show ahead. ⸻ 📸 Photo Studio Glam We took them out for another studio shoot, bright lights, clean background, and every angle showing off their deep greens and perfect branching. Soon, their beauty will be dressed in flowers, but for now, the leaf structure alone is worthy of the spotlight. ⸻ 🌡️ Current Conditions • Room Temp: 31°C • Humidity: 50.3% • VPD: 2.23 kPa • PPFD: 766 µmol/m²/s • Soil EC: ~2.0 • Soil Temp: 25.6°C Yes, the temperature is running hot — AC unit is on the way to lock it back into our ideal zone. ⸻ 💬 Heat in the Grow Room – Risks & Benefits Potential Risks: • Faster substrate drying = more frequent irrigation needed • Higher transpiration rates can stress plants if roots can’t keep up • Slightly increased risk of light stress at high PPFD without proper cooling • Possible reduced terpene retention if sustained into late flower Possible Benefits (short term in veg/pre-flower): • Accelerated metabolism — plants grow and stretch faster • Increased water/nutrient uptake (if well-fed and watered on time) • Can improve CO₂ usage efficiency if levels are high enough Bottom line: As long as they’re hydrated, fed, and ventilated, short bursts of high temp are manageable. But for flowering, we want to keep daytime temps closer to 24–28°C for optimal quality. ⸻ 💧 Watering Strategy We water when the soil dries to about 25% moisture remaining, this encourages: • Stronger root growth searching for water • Better oxygenation of the root zone • Less risk of root rot in warm temps Right now: They’re drinking daily due to the heat, so we’re feeding daily as well. ⸻ Current Feeding (per L of water) • Aptus Regulator – 0.15 ml • Aptus CalMag Boost – 0.25 ml • Aptus All-in-One Liquid – 1 ml • Aptus Top Booster – 0.25 ml With the increased drinking rate, nutrient uptake has increased — meaning no signs of deficiency, just steady lush green. ⸻ 🚀 Looking Ahead • AC installation will stabilize temps, allowing tighter VPD control • First signs of pistils should appear within the next 7–10 days • We’ll begin adjusting feed ratios for early bloom once flowers set • Light intensity will climb further as stretch continues ⸻ 💚 Closing Note: This week is all about momentum, heat or no heat, the Lava Cakes are pushing upward, prepping themselves for a heavy flower load. Day 86 12/05/2021- Week 5 of flower almost done hopefully by the end of the month. Went out on a trip and GoPro never turn on for the last two days bummer but will upload time lapse videos daily. Today the lady got nutrients as well. Day 89 12/08/2021- Today the lady got water, really hoping to see buds starting to fatten up. Day 91 12/10/2021- So today the lady got a special treat, freshly collected rain water. She is just doing her thing and making those buds. I have also finally put the spider farmer SF-2000 at 100%. She did do good this week but, this is the last of good week. As Co2 growing with young plants is new to me. My co2 is too high and lux is too low, I've taken out Runtz and put GDP auto back at floor. And I've upped the Lux and Will be lowering the light for ripening for my plant and dropping co2 back to 800. Thanks to all who viewed.
