Still trucking along. I had my light turned up a bit high for the first week, I turned them down a few days ago and all the plants seemed to enjoy it. Nothing else to report really.

18.07 watering with 400ml - 400ml - 400 ml Blueberry got only water Trainwreck got Bloom, Top-max and Fish-Mix All the others got only Top-Max and Bloom. Search everyday for some spidermites or something else. On some days I find a few on blueberry and Biscotti. I remove the manually. 21.07 watering with 400 - 400 - 400 water. Again: blueberry only water All the others Top-Max and Bloom Trainerwechsel started to flower. The leaves of Blueberry and Biscotti started to get yellow. Also removed some leaves with were down in the shadow of the top strains of frosted guava.

Last week the plants grew looking very healthy although I still have a feeling the low humidity is slowing their growth, by the end of the first week I started raising the EC to make the increasing for this week smoother, run-off EC is substantially increasing so I will start to fertigate them twice a day for this week.

Plant suffered of poor quality water, problems of transpiration and nutrients absorption due to pH unbalanced values, low humidity level, both light and ventilation intensity excess. Humidity is under control: stabilised between 45% and 50% continuously. pH has been fixed to 6.0 in all H2O solutions. Exhaust fan has been equipped of a rotative knob control in order to settle power: once desired humidity level is overpassed ventilation can be returned to max speed in order to maintain 24,5 Celsius degrees. It’s pretty cool to see how a plant can grow so fast! My nephew told me this could really be therapeutic for me so far so good! I’m new to all of this and I’m starting to want to learn more I have about 9 more seeds left all auto. Photos kind of have me intimidated with all of the videos I’ve seen on YouTube…if you have any advice on them please send it my way. I want to know more about photoperiods. -Uncle Cabbage

Well I’m closing this one out. I had a lot of problems with humidity outside and bud rot, in hindsight i read a few reviews in the last few weeks and purple kush is susceptible to bud rot. I did 2 separate harvest, one on the 9th and one on the 14th. I collected everything I could smoke, there is still buds left on the plants but because of bud rot and immature buds I’m saying fuck it. Sonoma seeds quotes 9-10 weeks flower i harvested at week 8 and week 9. I harvested just shy of a pound total, and just over and oz of “purple” looking weed. Between you guys and i, the purple one was pretty shwaggy as far as bud goes. Would i grow this again outdoors? NOPE. Would i try it indoors? You will have to stay tuned for my next grow. If you plan to grow this strain outdoors do not do it. The fact that it’s pretty much 100%indica it does not like to get wet,🤦‍♂️🏻 if you are in the desert, indoors or live in Afghanistan (lineage) go for it. The taste is also not quite what I expected, all the reviews say grapes, but i taste a neutral taste. Some of it smells quite good in the jars but as soon as you smell each bud it smells like spicy woody herb with some dank undertone. Trimming it i had some sort of dank spicy smell i just can’t put my fingers on, except it was all over them. The buzz is “ok”but nothing to knock your socks off with. It is a stimulating feeling followed by a calm “not sleepy” feeling. I haven’t grown many outdoor variety’s but I’m sure most of them turn out the same. I’m waiting for my indoor no name to finish and I can start trying to redeem myself with my leftover seeds, and hopefully get the true quality/if there is, with this purple kush strain. 🌱 Day 29 - First Day of Flowering Phase 🌱 Hey everyone! 🌿 I'm super excited to finally enter the flowering phase of my first grow! I have to admit, I was quite surprised to see that the plant had already been in pre-flower for three days and are developing really well. 🌸 Current Conditions for the Flowering Phase: Watered today with 800ml + 1ml/L BioBizz Bloom 💧🌿 Humidity: 50-55% 💧 Light: 100% intensity, 50cm distance, 16 hours light, 8 hours dark 💡🌙 Current Issues: I'm dealing with a few small yellow spots on the leaves, which seem to be caused by a calcium and magnesium deficiency.

Trucking right along with no issues. Girls putting on weight and it's pretty cool to see other bud-sites fatten up with this light compared to my old blurple. Day 50 for the 2-gal and day 43 for 3-gal, cannot wait until harvest!! Gonna wait minimum 80 days for the 2-gal, maybe longer.

Making butter is not very hard just time consuming but I very much enjoy making it. If you want really good butter you gotta cook slow and for long time. I ground 39 grams of my Granddaddy Purple and Purple Kush with 8oz (227 grams) butter. I decarbed the ground bud at 220 f for 40 minutes. While the bud is in the oven I melt the butter slowly with 1 cup of water. When butter is melted and the oven timer finishes add bud to butter and simmer for at least 8 hours, I did it for 12 hours. Never let boil! Add 1/4 cup water every 1-2 hours. After I will lay cheese cloth over plastic container and strain and squeeze all the goodness out. The leave in fridge over night, I squeeze the sides and drain excess water from below and butter is all ready. Thanks for checking out my butter recipe. Good luck stay safe happy growing cheers!!!!!

The buds of the Lemon Og Candy have some awesome orange hairs and the smell is really starting to spread. Now I know why it has candy in the name. Further decreasing humidity. Good that its cold and dry outside. Also stopped watering for the last 6 days to further decrease humidity. Then I gave 15L into the big pot and 3L into the small one.
