I topped 1 of the two girls. Also moved them from the 3x3 to the 2x4 with the Spider Farmer SF2000 set to 40% power.

Sorry again for the poor media content. The project was coming to an end and I was starting with another one, my first hydro grow. Pollen was kept fertile and used after with great results too. Sadly I don't think I have the notes where I counted how many seeds came from this plant, but well see, I'll keep digging.

Progress

2/9 - 4 gal RO 2/10 - 5 gal RO 2/11 - Feeding nutrients plus cal/mag, 5 gal 2/12 - Feeding nutrients, 5 gal 2/13 - FINALLY FIGURED OUT MY ISSUE! The ph within the soil was too low. RO only at 6.5ph 2/14 - RO only 6.8ph 2/15 - Feeding nutrients, 4 gal at 6.7ph Monday 2/15 was one of the coldest days we've had, our winter storm took our power that evening. I was ok with going without lights, the plants would have made it through a day or two. However I was not prepared for below freezing temperatures. Overnight my plants froze to death. I went without power for another 36 hours at below freezing temperatures. There was no way I could save them now.

I will be focusing this diary on the smoothie strain but you’ll be seeing some other plants in the tent that are not the same strain. I only have room in this tent so bare with me. There are 2 Smoothie, 1 CNC, and 1 Stardawg (dog). The smoothie are the two bigger ones in the back of the tent. Now, the Smoothie from FastBuds is just killin it right now. Since I popped the beans they have done nothing but show signs of greatness. I don’t think this one is gonna slow down much either. I’m going to push these plants harder than my last harvest. I had a really really amazing harvest last time. I was even able to pull sap out of all 4 plants. 2 Zkittles and 2 LSD-25. This was all done by feeding at the right times and keeping a “moist” soil. Also I want add that I ran pretty much the entire line of Nectar for the Gods at a little less then the recommended ratios. This time I plan on going a tiny bit over the recommended ratios just to see what these plants will do. Trust me, if the plants have a bad response I will go back to the recommended ratios. The reason I want to do this is because I really think these auto strains can handle a lot more than a regular flowering cycle plant would. They can handle more stress, that’s for sure. When do you think I should add a compost tea into my regimen? Soon or wait till the plant is a little larger?

August 10th. 57 days post flip. Clones: Clones have been growing very very well. Can confidentially say they are no longer stretching. I no longer have to move them away from the light. There are some tops that are burning but I’m not even worried about it. It’s only a few tops and it looks like I will be getting plenty of bud. I’m expecting another 8 weeks of flower at this point. Decided it was about time to give another shot of nutes. Gave them craft blend, bug 6, some potassium, some epsom salts, cow cal 24, and some recharge. I also changed them to an 11.5 to 12.5 light to night cycle. Doing this to better mimick their home environment. The tops growing above the lights are really really happy about the supplemental lighting I added. Seem to be responding very well. So far plant number 2 and 3 have a bud structure I like. Closer spacing and seem to be better overall for indoor growing. Plant number 4 seems like an absolute monster meant for the outdoors and has the more spear like sativa spacing. At this point I’m just waiting to see how they fatten and how they smoke before I chose my female. I’ve already begun looking at potential candidates for my male hunt to cross my lucky candidate with. I think I might go with something like biker kush from karma. I think that will help tighten up the structure of whatever female I decide to chose. Let me know what you guys think I should hunt for this things mate! Parents: Parents have been growing very well. Low light intensity coupled with fabric pots so they can air prune along with no night cycle leading to stunted roots has allowed me too keep these things in these tiny pots for going on 24 weeks. Going to continue to give nothing but water. Might give some casings or a tad bit of craft blend but for the time being they seem healthy. Watering every 2-3 days. EXPLOSIVE GROWTH after first nutrient feeding 🔥

I’m going to leave the seedlings in the small brown pots until their 1st node and then I’ll transfer them into bigger plastic 3.5gal pots with 80/20 soil to perlite potting mix. One Dosidos is looking a bit behind and the one with the weird leaves ended up catching up to the Northern Lights, maybe even growing faster than it. All Dosidos’ ended up dying but one and I’m sure it’s on the way out. Northern Lights has had no issues and growing perfect.

Foram regadas hoje ( 08/07/2021). Os nutrientes foram misturados num garrafao com 5L de água que usei para regar 3 plantas. Usei pouca quantidade porque foi a primeira vez que estão a levar com nutrientes, na próxima rega irei aumentar para um E.C de 0,5. A royal gorilla 2 como ainda está pouco desenvolvida, apenas reguei com 1L com pH 6.3 10/07/2021 - LST Ajudem-me com dicas para fazer o LST da melhor maneira, é a minha primeira vez. This week she has grown quite well. Not as tall as the gorilla glue but she has great form and lots of new growth tips. Also regretting not scrog’in her too, but it is what it is now so I’m kinda happy with it. My tent is a nice size so not a problem, I have the light on adjustable rope so I’m not gonna worry about it. I’ll do some de-foliation on her and take about 50% off from the bottom. No point keeping them as they don’t get as much light anyhow and besides to many branches will affect my top growth. I’ll switch her to 12/12 this week as I’m happy with her size now. Hopeful to get a massive condense bud on the top. A big fatty will be awesome. She’s been enjoying the nutrient schedule so far and I’m happy with this. I don’t normally veg out a plant this long but ah well it is what it is eh. She has a potent smell amd she ain’t even in flower so hopefully this is a good sign.

Lovely start and lovely end to week 1

Sep 13: almost done. Doing a chemical flush this year using Final Flush from Grotek. It uses citric acid as a chelating agent rather than EDTA (which I would rather avoid). Sep 16: this is getting exciting as the buds are getting nice and big and hard, and there are lots of them. This harvest will be way more than a pound (454 g) and possibly over 600 g. Fingers crossed.
