Update week 2 of Bloom

Harvesting my fist plant this week. I've read that stopping watering before harvest will increase resin production. You can see that most leafs on the bottom right plant turned yellow. Most of its trichomes are cloudy with a few amber ones here and there.

I've transferred the selected plants to bigger containers. I've noticed that I'm staring them all day and a friend has an unused old GoPro that he was willing to let me have for this grow.... So now the GoPro takes an image every minute. I've started working on a python to script to let me create a time-lapse video, FUN!

All is good in the Scroggernaut and the plants are taking to their hempy buckets. Ladies were topped this week and responding well. VPD is on point as can be seen by the way the leaves are praying to the skies. The lighting is just killing it and Im not even cranked up yet. Trying to fiddle and keep the seedling plants on the other table close to the same size as the coco hempys, so Im using slowing techniques like early defo and light deprivation on the seeds. Really looking forward to what this strain has to offer and hope to get some variance in the phenos. Looks like she'll be growing some serious leaves, some solar panels to soak up all that light. She'll be staying indoors just incase the Blueberry OG ends up being an outdoor male.

I know these are not typical ways of training but then again the norm was not the norm at first :)

So I stopped topping this week to see where the tops are at on these plants, and after seeing the explosion of growth after the 1 to 7 gal transplant, I think these are good to go! I’m waiting on switching to flower until I plant and germinate my next run, which will be in about 2 weeks. Also debating on running clones of these if I see any I like during the flowering stretch. I had to instal a carbon filter yesterday, Oct15, as my mother in law said it smells like a skunk sprayed the side of my house. Didn’t think I would need to until flower, but I guess it’s expected with this many plants! Steady growth, and slowly shifting nutrient amounts up, get ready for some buds!

Day 28 flower, things are doing well, humidity and heat are stable, plucking off leafs as I go along now anything blocking bud sites. I'm on week 7 of the biobizz feed schedule full dose, these girls not showing any nute burn or stress so far either I could probably push them more. Day 33 from flip. Heat and humidity are under control. Sitting at 27°c and 40-47% humidity with lights on. And 20°c and 47% humidity lights off. Ph levels on feeds and watering is 6.5, there really loving the biobizz range and the marshydro tsl2000 combo. So today the plants are getting fatter and nice and dense. Its super sticky and stacking on trichomes. These 3 beans came from The same pack, and each one smells diffrent. Closest pheno is a really lemon citrus smell and its strong. Middle pheno is like a sherberty smell and really tickles the 👃. Pheno 3 at the back is like a lemon skunk, really pungent and its got the fattest buds so far too. Day 34 flower, Feeding molasses today in 6.5ph water, I will start the next week tomorrow and will be starting on week 8 of the bio bizz nutes schedule. Thanks for all your support so far. This is my first indoor tent grow so I´m quite excited. I chose Critical Kush Auto from Barney's Farm, because I heard that this autoflowering plant is ready for harvest in 8-9 weeks. It has a small size, usually 50 cm and no more than 90 cm, which is perfect for my small tent.. Update: 7th March 2021, the seed that I planted directly in to the jiffy didn´t germinate at all.. So I put a second seed and put it 24h into a glas of water and after that 36h into a paper towel and the results are way better!

Day 80 This morning I started defoliating Tropicana. She will be in the darkness for the next days. I already harvested a part of the head flower and let it dry trimmed. Because of extreme weather conditions and very high humidity I got a little bud rott. I found it out quit early I think. So I hope nothing will not happen any more. Just harvesting relaxed and drink a Tropicana tee. Day 81 I decided to cut her down in the evening. The humidity in the basement room is high and I don‘t want to risk here anything anymore. Waiting for my first homegrown weed to be vaped. Day 82 Tropicanas flowers hanging to dry in my basement. I check them once per day with a strong light. Day 83 Same same. The smell is wonderful like a bit of gas combined with a fruity flower bouquet. Our neighbors in the house like the smell, too. 🙏 Day 84 I could try my first homegrown weed. It‘s absolutely tasty and have a very smooth vape. I was very surprised cause it‘s not cured yet. A longer vape report will follow when it‘s dried and cured. Day 88 All flowers, sugar- and tee leafs are trimmed and filled in glasses for curing. I open twice per day for 20 minutes. Boveda packs 58% inside. I will fill out the rest of the diarie when my buds are dried, cured and vaped. So far this was a very exciting journey for me. Growing cannabis and even legal on our balcony. Feels still a bit unreal, but it’s real! Thank you for reading my diary! Thanks to all the people who worked on legalizing cannabis in Germany, especially to the „Deutscher Hanfverband (DHV)“! I will give more updates and write a vape report after curing several weeks. Maybe with some Tropicana Cookies baked in Comfreys garden kitchen.

So we started feeding them. just some organic growth by BAC and some Calmag. Mostly around the sides of the pots to encourage the roots and start the Microlife overall. We have used nice lukewarm water and added some sugar sirop to activate all the wee beasties. The growth last week was phenomenal although one is going faster than the other. For this reason I changed them around, should climate on that spot have anything to do with that. Now we are looking at other XL runts diaries, to learn from the best performers and copycat their methods to maximize yields with this setup. We will decide if we will just LST them or give them a top... Have to be quick tho, these ladies will flower soon... Day 49 - Still have issues...3BOG is still yellowing on most leaves, 4AM is still showing slowly developing Mg deficiency, and Sour Stompers are still losing leaves but it seems to have slowed. I think the Sour Stompers might only have 2-3 weeks left so I'll start the flush soon and hope for the best. Fed 4AM & 3BOG 2tsp/gal Tiger Bloom mixed in 1.5 gallons water. pH: 6.5 Day 50 - Watered Sour Stompers with 1.5 gallons worm tea Day 53 - Leaf issues seem to have finally stopped on the 3BOG and slowed on the 4AM. Sour Stomper 1 looking really bad but I think I finally understand the multitude of issues I've created so hopefully I get them to recover enough to make it to harvest. Day 54 - Watered 3BOG & 4AM 1.5 gallons at 6.7 pH Day 55 - Looks like it's about time to start flushing the Sour Stompers. Watered them .75 gallons each at 6.7 pH
