With this strain I vegged for 5 weeks and flowered for just over 10 weeks. The plants produced some impressive size buds with minimal popcorn bud. The buds are coated in trichomes which produce a sweaty-like resin which I haven’t seen before. Man this plant is LOUD - I loved it.

Flush week! 50 gallons of tap water flushed through the roots at the start of this week. She has been on plain tap water(2.5 gallons every 4 days) for the last two waterings.

She's done! I'm seeing plenty of amber trichomes now. Harvesting in progress.

What a joy this grow has been. She was a real beauty. Absolute joy to grow...strong branches but she likes to stretch a lot. I knew wat to expect. I have grown Lemon Kush outdoors 3 times. The scrog this year was the perfect solution. I will not grow her again outdoors. This was my first time to see her finish. Seeing her flower this year, she just needs the warmth in the end. The climate here rarely offers that. I must say the dense flowers are amazing also size and yield is incredible. Update about that later. Trichomes were underdeveloped. I had to harvest early because of mould. The last 3 weeks of flower the temperatures were very low 10-15 C daytime and very very wet. I believe this stunted the plants. They made a full stop in development and exploded again in the last week. 3 days of sun did more than the 2 weeks before. Weather forecast were bad so big buds were harvested 25 september. We eventually had more sun than expected and bottom half was left until 2 october. That week made sooo much difference!! Those bottom buds finally developed some nice trichomes and turned purple. Of course I wish the big buds could have enjoyed the sunshine during that last week as well. Most of you will know, being an outdoor grower...Every year is about compromises. This year was so hot during growth and cold and wet in bloom that mould was unstoppable. After all I am very pleased with this grow and cant wait to taste some of this. Probably needs al long cure though to bring back that lemon scent. Almost seems like all that the rain washed the scent right off her😪 Keep growing y'all!

Closer to the end than the beginning now! I'm thinking another couple of weeks, lets keep an eye on the pistils and see when they all turn colour.

Soo...Nr.1 von 2 die auf dem Balkon waren wächst super...war jetzt die ganze Woche geflippt auf 12 h aber von Blütephase sind minimal nur Ansätze zu sehen...aber der Stretch ist wohl schon im Gange...trotzt living soil und 1 mal pro Woche Kompost-Tee...gebe ich noch was dazu...topbooster und P-boost von Aptus...ich bin davon überzeugt das kein living soil genug Phosphor für die Stretchphase hat. Ab und zu noch etwas "fish shit" aber nicht bei jedem Gießen...das Zeug ist in Deutschland teuer bis unerhältlich...aber sehr gut. Cover crop funktioniert auch sehr gut...habe gesehen dass es viele bei sehr jungen Pflanzen machen...davon würde ich abraten. Die Nr.2...auf dem Balkon gestartet und dann ausgewildert...habe ich auch besucht aber keine neuen Bilder gemacht wie hier vor 2 Wochen gepstet...macht nur wenig Fortschritte...aber sieht wunderschön aus.

Week 11, D71 Flower Day 41. She's super frosty. And very sticky and sticky. Smells of fresh cut strawberries and a light musky sweet earthy smell. Not a whole lot of bud, but what's there is tops by the looks of it. I'm hoping this is going to be the A grade bud I've been looking for. Plant has been thrown into soft flush. Been given terra powers finisher. 1ml/L 150 ppm and ph + adjusted to 6.7. Should of just let it grow normal. Lessons learnt. Even though she wasn't let grow o'natural I've seen what I can get, 1 main top cola and smaller colas on the side instead of 50-70cm small plants. Hopefully I'll get 50-70cm nodes with a big ass frosty cola on my next run, and then I'll be able to say for sure, that topping isn't the way to go with autos. As I've topped every single 1 I've grown and the tallest plant I could get was 90cm. Either it's the topping or not grown to its peak performance. HARVEST DAY. She's frosty. I've seen more frosty SG but I'm happy with this with how I crippled her growth. But in stunning her height I do think I've made for some A grade Bud up top. There is some airy bud at the very end. At the end of last week, finally flower indicators started to show and these week it went more. Day 32: I sprayed them with Rhizotonic this week. This will be the last week for sprays. I don't like to spray my plants while having buds on it even thought it is organic. Always make sure you spray from below the leafs. They will uptake it better and also spray some above. With the lights off. Did some defoliation again and removed some lower internodes which will be crappy buds anyways. Made a video of my feeding bucket as well, in case some of you wonder how I feed all those plants manually. It is a pump with an gardenhose attached. Thats it for this week, Until next week!

It’s just the first week of flower, and they’re all praying, stretching, and absolutely thriving—filling up every inch of the tent. This grow space is officially packed from wall to wall, with each plant competing for its share of light and showing off some of the biggest, healthiest leaves I’ve seen yet! 🌱 A few strategic plucks here and there have kept airflow smooth and light penetration balanced. Those big leaves? They’re a sign of happy, healthy growth. Large leaves help the plant capture maximum light energy, essential during this stage, especially as they start focusing on developing those flowers. When plants grow huge, vibrant leaves like these, it means they’re well-nourished and content in their environment—a true testament to the well-balanced conditions we’ve got going in the tent! Flowering Parameters 🌡️ Room Environment: • Temperature: 26.7°C • Humidity: 63.3% • CO2: 960 ppm • VPD: 1.29 kPa (prime zone for flowering health!) Lighting: • Light Intensity: 835 PPFD (ideal for boosting flower growth) • Solution: pH 5.96, TDS 460 ppm, temp 21.1°C • Medium: Moisture: 100%, TDS: 520 ppm, Temp: 21.6°C Carbon Filter Installation & Smell Management 🌬️🌱 With the transition to flower, the scent profile is already starting to kick in—crazy for the first week, right? 🌸 To keep everything fresh and under wraps, I’ve set up a carbon filter system. Here’s how it’s working: I’ve connected the filter to my Aerofan, which pulls air directly from the tent. This air is cleaned by the filter and released into the main room, where it then passes through another filter before exiting my space. This dual-filter setup means no scent escapes into the wild, keeping things stealthy and the grow room a peaceful, scent-contained environment. Not only does it encourage smoother transitions into day and night, but in theory, it’ll help these ladies finish a bit faster, while giving them a little nudge to build more substantial, quality flowers. 🌇 Nutrient Adjustments 🌱 Now that we’re in flower, I’ve swapped out the Start Booster for P-Boost and TopBooster to specifically support flowering needs. Every visible node was topped on all the plants. Some of the large fan leaves connected to the main stem were removed. Custom drip rings were made out of some 1/2 inch tube that I drilled some holes in. Each drip ring has its own shutoff due to different substrate being used. I was getting rid of some leftover stuff from past grows. This is not ideal, but it’s what I had to work with and cost no 💰 this go around. I’m hoping for a great stretch from these Mandarin Cookies. The net will probably go up at the end of the week followed by one final week before flipping the light cycle to 12/12 for flower production. I really need the height of the Cookies to catch up to the Super Lemon Haze that are growing like a maniac! I’m gonna take clones at some point…maybe.
