It was a tough week though! I didn’t know what to do in terms of training my girls 🌱🌱🌱🌱, this is my first time so I don’t know shit 💩 haha. I decided to manifold these beauties, I did it this morning, it kinda hurt to cut them off 😢 since I watched them grow and all that emotional crap 😅 but fuck it let it all be for the greater good, those 8 colas I’m planning to get per plant will look beautiful in a couple of months! I wanted to ask you all please. What about that hollow stem in one of the plants? I have read that hollow stems could be a deficiency, is that right? How can I correct it? Really hope she continues doing fine and make it through the process!!

WEEK 16 - (06/13/2021 - 06/19/2021) Week 8, Day 50 - FLOWER: 06/13/2021 After inspecting the trichome development for the last 7-10 days or so, I’ve decided that today would be the ideal time to begin flushing. The American Pie #1 does not look like it’s ready to begin flushing quite yet, as she appears to be about a week behind in maturity. Despite that, I’ll still begin flushing her today too. Recycled water: 70ppm, 69℉ + pH Up: 7ml Mixture: 95ppm, 6.4 pH, 69℉ ppm/ppm = runoff/soil JB#1 - 895/800, 6.1 pH AP#1 - 529/434, 6.5 pH AP#2 - 365/270, 6.7 pH GC#1 - 624/529, 6.3 pH -------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Week 8, Day 51 - FLOWER: 06/14/2021 Did a trichome check on the plants today. Spent more time with the Jelly Banana to better determine her maturity level. She actually looks like she is ready to harvest today. I’d say trichomes are 75-80% milky, with an amber trichome here and there. I’m going to try and push her through at least one more low-ppm watering and test the runoff. This week has gone well, had a bunch of stuff typed out and closed my browser by mistake and now this is #2 attempt to post this week. Easy week for the plants, they have being growing well and I am impressed by the size of them. I added in some potassium silicate to introduce some Si into this grow. I decided to top them as they where starting to grow their 4th node, snipped that tip off and we're golden. They are kinda smelly if you rub them and that's fun too, Some of the hot peppers have also popped up and started growing. I still don't have anything on the Naga Morich pepper that I am hoping for. I have a feeling that as the seeds I got from these peppers where from a dehydrated pepper, they might be duds nuked from the dry heat of the dehydrator. I do have 4 vials of hot pepper seeds where the label has fallen off, I found the labels but no idea what one goes on what bottle. One out of the four bottles is Naga Morich, Having some none dehydrated seeds in my possession is one step closer to getting more of this hottie. I also found a fly out of no where, Its little wing is damaged and it more or less hops and glides unsuccessfully vs fly's but I took some videos of it. I also seen a few fungus gnats, little fuckers where not in my apartment before I am convinced their eggs survive in the stuff I buy then come out of it. Kinda annoying. PLUS I borrowed a light meter from my hydro shop, I was expecting it to be a LUX meter and that I would have to do a bunch of conversions but it was not, it was a legit Quantum Par Sensor, detecting in PPF "Photosynthetic Photon Flux" or umols/s, with these readings I can calculate my PPFD "PPF+Density" I have mapped out my tents floor into a colour coded grid of dots and mapped out the PPF at varying heights and dims. However I did not do it right and need to redo this. But once this is done I will have a functioning PPFD map with relation to my tent. This will help me tone in DLI and get it aorund a solid 35-40. Will be gearing up for a transplant next week. I try and post on Fridays but don't always get around to it. I take the pics on that date though and then try and remember what I was going to write about that week. PS Gorilla Tent Accessory's suck shit. The SCROG nets pic has the gorilla 2x4 SCROG net "black" and the Secret Jardin 2x4 SCROG net "white" beside it. massive difference in quality and size. I should have known when they state on the label its for 2x2 or 2x4, that's not even possible. Also tried out the nutrient line that's part of the gorilla tent company, Lotus, I ran it one year and it was just trash, did not work, had issues since first week and they would not correct. Buddy reached out to me and said same thing happened to him and he disliked the brand. Nach dem ich sie höher gestellt habe hatt Sie etwas nachgezogen , momentan ist Sie ungefähr 10cm kleiner als die anderen und dies war wohl der Grund der leichten überdüngung ! Aber alles wieder im Griff 😉😎

Selbst das Osmose Wasser ist perfekt da dolomitkalk in der Erde angereichert ist und die Pflanzen laufen nicht auf Mangel an Mineralien… einfach super einmal mit super spoil aus einander gesetzt, jetzt gar nichts mehr machen 😆 Und stecken trotzdem top mit super Harz Besatz, UVB und Top Light scheint auch nicht zu verbrennen, es soll ich sagen bin durch und durch zufrieden

Jackie is getting huge supercropped her branches as she was getting to tall bent her tops down and spread her out removed silicon and calmag and gave a small flush then started feed again with buddy at 0.5ml perl with a and b hopefully her stretch will slow from this week but shes got good structure and can see her being a big plant thanks for reading happy growing guys

Well week 5 of bloom is complete, and this week brought a few challenges. Humidity in my area has been through the roof, close to 100%. My heavy-duty equipment was struggling to bring my tent to acceptable late flowering levels, sometimes reaching over 60% RH, especially at night when the plant was respirating more. Additionally, her pale yellow color, and leathery leaves didn't excite me too much. If you remember, we had a severe heat wave a couple of weeks ago, which contributed to that. But also, since I messed up the ScrOG training, and regrettably decided not to super-crop her, a fair share of the leaf problems were due to light stress as well, as I didn't want to sacrifice lower colas, so I let it go. My biggest mistake this grow, was not paying attention to her the one day she decided to stretch nearly a foot, and was unable to be weaved into the net the next day without being snapped in half. My second biggest mistake is NOT snapping it in half, and letting it repair itself. I wouldn't have had nearly as much bleaching of leaves I think. This week, and I'm assuming because nearly all chlorophyll was depleted from her fan leaves, I didn't notice much of any change from last week. Her buds seemed to be about the same mass, and the stigmas still had the same ratio of red to white coloration. I suspected she was dead, or dying, or just...done. Not all genetics will transform all of their stigmas from white, and not all genetics will have their trichomes turn amber. So, I did a few things to confirm that suspicion. First, I looked at her trichomes on various buds closely with a microscope. They were almost all cloudy, with very very few amber. That told me that she was at an acceptable level of ripeness, even if she could have went longer, assuming she was still alive. Next, I removed the pea gravel mulch I was using in the raised bed, so I could get a closer look at the soil she was growing in, and more specifically, her roots. The soil, although moist a few inches deep, was not at the level I expected, and I think I have not been watering her enough. I don't think I'll be using a gravel mulch again. On the plus side, it did help prevent fungus gnats, as there was zero the whole grow, apart from an early week when I placed some solo cups to germinate on top of the bed, but after removing them, the fungus gnats disappeared with them. Also while inspecting the soil, I carefully dug down to inspect some of her primary roots. They were actually dry, despite the surrounding soil being moist. This could explain why she wasn't drinking much if any for the better part of the week. So, given her dry foliage, dry roots, and ripe-enough trichomes, I decided it was time to harvest her, earlier than expected. Let's also not forget that I was frightened this week with some high humidity scares, so growing longer, and possibly for no reason if she was dead or barely alive, was not in the cards. I've dealt with my fair share of bud rot before, and I would rather try what I have of her now, than to wait the extra week or so for her to be fully ripe. So, that is what I did, on the last day of the week -- I chopped her down, cut off some larger fan leaves, and hung her upside down. This, of course, was after removing the raised bed. It took me a while to empty about 45 gallons of soil so I could move it, but in doing so, I noticed a lot of beneficial critters, and nothing bad. Such critters included small centipedes, which feed on other insects, and soil mites which eat dead organic matter. I set the tent to dry at around 72F and 55 RH. And now we wait for about a week before trimming. One thing is for sure -- I am very proud of this grow, despite all these flaws. She smells incredible -- like pure citrus emanating throughout my house. This is a very strong-smelling plant. As a bonus, I've included a time-lapse video of the entire grow from start to finish in the last media above. Check it out and let me know what you think. There is so much to discuss ! I have been extremely busy as of late trying to get this Harvest together, but i am happy to have it here for you now ! I Seriously under estimated the amount of time, help from others, and my own necessary skills to pull this off.. and i still kind of screwed it up lol ! But its worth noting i have never actually done this before and trying to document it during....was extremely hard. It is next to impossible to work an iPhone with rubber gloves on ! First I want to discuss everything step by step so before you jump straight into the comments on how the end product is so small in "quantity" Rest assured i am happy with its"quality"...and thats all that matters to me because Life is a journey not a destination! and i have learned so much from this grow that I couldn't be any happy even if i messed some things up :) But at the very least I hope you read through this entry in its entirety with an open mind and focus more on the process, rather than just the outcome! I ran out of Ice & i was only able to wash three times..(normally I've heard you should go sometimes 5-6 washes) Preparation is Key & things will be much better next round :) Photos 1-22 These are pretty self explanatory but for those of you just tuning in now.. this is what happens to a very happy plant when you don't have the necessary tools to monitor key components of growing cannabis.. Ph, as well as EC levels play a very key role in the outcome of your grow lol that being said I was just able to save this plant by purchasing both tools but that doesn't mean the plant didn't suffer because of the prior events.. This was a Huge reason behind me choosing to turn this harvest into what i would consider "Solventless Hash Rosin" from "Ice water extracted Bubble hash". Pictures 23 The idea here is the process of using "fresh Frozen Cannabis" this has been discussed many a time online on such sites as instagram and here on grow diaries as well.. I personally have Never tried the process so i decided to try it out and make a judgement for myself.. Video 24 The Cannabis has now been in the freezer for 72 hours making it very well frozen.. as you can tell i struggled getting it all into the 25u Screen Wash Bag. One thing of note i would do differently is i will de-stem my next batch as i also believe this played a part in the amount of plant matter that escaped through the sieves. Photo/Video's 25-28 The idea here is "ice water Seiving" & especially with the bags that I am using here that are only have screen material on the bottom portion of the bag it is very important to have spaces in-between the screens to allow the water to pass directly through the screens into the bottom bucket with the least amount of resistance.. because the hash is so extremely temperature dependant if it gets warm on the side of the bag.. it will stick there and not make it to the bottom to become use able product.. 29 You do not need to use as much Ice as i used here lol... the idea is to keep everything very cold..i certainly achieved that but at the sacrifice of using so much that i ended up grinding product and producing "contaminants" but in the end they are just plant matter that i would be smoking when i rolled up my joint either way so.. I'm not super disappointed.. But it should be noted that what you want to achieve here is a Layering effect where you have the wash bag between two small layers of ice while the "water current" washes the Trichomes away allowing them to be separated by the screens setup below :) Before Starting the machine you should allow some time (i.e.;10-12minutes pre soak to allow the product to become saturated) before the first cycle. By video 32 I have just ran out of ice lol.. Video 33-34 Here I have a tip for you.. to separate the screens that you sieve through.. cut 5 gallon buckets to stretch them across nice and tight.. it'll make scooping your Bubble that much easier ! i learned this from the many "Frenchy" videos I have watched :) Picture 35 Here in lays the problem for most people.. drying your hash without loosing vast amounts of "Terpenes" whilst also stay ever vigilant against mold ! Thanks to all those videos I've watched on youtube.. id like to think this was one of my most successful parts of this process.. Things to Note; Terpenes start to seriously evaporate at temperatures 68F or 20C you need to stay as cold as possible whilst bringing the Relative Humidity in the space down into the 40-30% to stay away from that nasty mold ! I used my cold storage room in the basement.. with a dehumidifier running to keep the space at 45% RH & staying at a constant 15c. All while spreading the hash as thin as possible across parchment paper, on top of the white screens with a fan moving air across both sides of the paper. Pictures 36-38 These are some macros i took in the middle of my drying session I fell in love with the colour. Yes i know the black spots are plant material but they will get caught when i bag the hash & squish the oil out. Thing to Note; at this stage it is important to ensure you 'micro plane" the hash down as fine as you can whilst staying weary of the temperature... any "chunks" will hold pockets of moisture.. that lead to potential problems..ie; mold ... Picture/Video 39-41 Successfully planed bubble hash ready to be bagged and Squished ! Picture 42 Ive decided to follow Pedro.. from Pedros Grow Room and double bag to be on the safe side so i don't have any blow outs. So thats One 25u bag inside one 160u bag ! :) Pictures 43 This is almost 3 grams of the bubble hash from above, already melting in the bag.. this is where i ran into trouble again lol things started getting to warm in the house and i was only able to get one of the three squish's i did on video :( things started getting sticky. Picture 44 This is basically just a photo of the equipment I'm using; 3x5 LowTemp Cage in the frame I built myself, with a 20Ton bottle jack. Something to note here is this is an older Lowtemp model with only a single heating zone which is which i have it closed here heating Both sides of the press :) As well as the importance of having adequate pressure on your plates.. my rig is very overkill for the size of hash bags..lol Video 45 Here is the lovely press video.. its didn't quite work the way i wanted either lol my directional folding wasn't quite tight enough for a big "drip" :) &the Press was set to 65°c Photo's 46-50 are pretty self explanatory :) I had a blow out.. but still managed to pull an 80% return from the hash once squished...& yes it tasted amazing :) Was it worth it in the end... that could be debated.. for some..i understand..its not your thing, but for those of us that are interested in making our own concentrates.. free from Solvents... I wouldn't make it any other way :) If even ONE of you reading this diary finds it helpful to reference for ANYTHING.....even if its "what not to do" ill consider it a success ! Smell kind of strawberry champagne And sorbet. Super sweet And fruity.definitely 9 week. In week 5-7 start to put some weight on it but in 7-9 still put more and more 3 layer of trellis and they didn’t make it :))) all of them start to fall down. A little problems in veg cuz I was using organic guanokalong than I switched to mills (the best I think in the European market at least) they to great results. I was using them before, I was growing zkittlez than and same shit fucking great results,I definitely recommended mills full line. Try it and see for your self.I hope that post help you in a way other and you make an idea how that strain develops in flower. Oh yah she stretched till week 4-5 so be aware when you put them in flower. For ipm program I use atlantica full line all of them bio extracts and they make it. I was fighting with trips and you all know how hard is to fight with them. Not even 1 sign of trips after a few weeks of atlantica ipm. Anyway I definitely recommend this strain and I will grow again and again alongside with others for sure.

Boy oh boy look at these babies grow I'm studying them more and more to ensure they are happy. I've notice that gelato 41 is producing bud spots like thats what it was ment for. Tropi cherry is coming along but not as fast as G41, and runtz muffin im a little disappointed in but i believe that is my fault for im still new and have only grown 1 plant prior to these 3. It also doesnt help i had to cut the vegitation cycle by 2 weeks as well. and further more I was at least able to give 2 clones away, the rest were still good but couldn't find them homes so i had to throw them away. Next time I'll have all the room they need and can't wait to make mother plants of my favorites.

Flower Week 1 Day 43 - Today the tent goes from veg to flower with the new 12/12 light cycle. A feed was made up for the girls and they each drank 1.5l allowing a little run off Day 44 - Nothing happening today just allowing the girls to get used to the new schedule Day 45 - So today I noticed some clawing on the girls and darker green leaves towards the bottom. Pretty sure I overdone it on the Nitrogen so I decided to give the girls a good drink of plain tap water, a partial flush I guess. I ran 3 litres of water through each of the girls allowing for a good run off. Plan is to dilute any feed in the soil down a little? Day 46 - Took a few photos today of the leaves showing what I believe to be Nitrogen toxicity Day 47 - Nothing happening today I am just hoping the girls recover well from my over feeding. Guess this is where the learning really starts with being able to read your plants :) Day 48 - The girls were given another feed today but minus the Biobizz Grow as they hopefully still have plenty of Nitrogen to be getting on with. Each took just over 1l of feed Day 49 - End of first week of flowering. No.1 is seeing week 1 out standing 60cm tall. No.2 & No.3 ended the week at 49cm tall. I am about half way through this grow and so far all the girls are still alive. I am sure I have made multiple mistakes already but the girls seem to be very forgiving I hope everyone is well and as always thanks all for dropping in and catching up :)
