It's time to dive into the exciting world of my Purple Lemonade FF in week 6 of vegetation. This gal continues to shine and perform like a true champion, making me proud with every passing day. Last week, I introduced the scrog net, and oh boy, did she respond with enthusiasm! It's like witnessing a botanical ballet, as her branches gracefully weave through the net, creating a lush and even canopy. I sometimes catch myself humming "Dance of the Sugar Plum Fairies" while tending to her. The scrog net truly is a masterpiece, guiding her growth and ensuring maximum light penetration. It's like a support system for her budding ambitions. Now, let's talk about IPM, or Integrated Pest Management, because every grower knows that prevention is key. I noticed some unwanted visitors in the form of thrips and fungus gnats, so it was time to take action. But hey, I prefer a natural approach, so I called upon some tiny allies to join the battle. I introduced nematodes to the soil, those microscopic warriors who feast on the unsuspecting pests. It's like having a secret army of predators ready to defend my precious plants. But that's not all! To further bolster the defenses, I invited some other beneficial insects to the party. Spical Ulti Mite and Swirskii, the mighty protectors, joined forces to keep those unwanted critters in check. hello to all growers this week with a big surprise even though the weather was very cloudy i managed to consider myself surprised! finally they proved to be VERY STRONG even after the double decanting and the windy and cold wet days are growing I doubled the fertilizer in a dizzying way! TOP AUTO great buy! later the plants in the 15 liter black containers dried immediately, today in this regard for my new arrival, I bought 50 liter clay-colored fabric pots, to be able to add four fem, I added 3 specimens that had been given to me left as a gift from the lemon fast bud stand and the girls have real vigor on them unfortunately I had to vary the volume of earth. I hope it can be made to grow. I'm filling the 50 liter pots with lots of water and fertilizers, the temperature has finally stabilized. Day 1- 08/04/22 14:30pm Germination Time!!!!! Here we have 21 wonderful seeds from the amazing fastbuds!!!! Placed in a glass of water for 18-20hours!!! So excited!!!! - Day 2-09/04/22 seeds have been placed on a wet paper towel!!!!! - Day 3-10/04/22 getting the pots filled with soil ready for planting tonight or tomorrow!!!!! - Day 4-11/04/22 most of the seeds had popped last night so I planted most of them and the rest I planted this morning!!! 1 seed out of the 21 didn’t pop so germinating another to make it back up to 21!!!! So there all in the tent except 1!!!! - Day 5-12/04/22 one has come through so far and should be planting the last seed tonight!!!! A few more should pop out by tomorrow!!!! - Day 6-13/04/22 14 out of the 21 have come out so far!!!! - Day 7-14/04/22. 19 of the 21 have come through!! I think one isn’t going to come through so I’m germinating another seed to replace it and if the other one doesn’t come through tomorrow I’ll germinating another one to replace that Aswell!!!.

I lost all my pictures of my candy kush harvest but the bud was pretty uninspiring, not much for terps or smell and just makes me sleepy so been using it when I get home from my 12 hour shifts at 7am so I can get to sleep quick as possible, will be the last plants EVER from royal queen seeds ,defended them for the last year but since growing real breeders seeds I see that rqs is most definitely a white label seed company that sells us all fake genetics that are not what they say they are,I gave them every chance but when I grow 5 different strains and they all end up looking,smelling and tasting exactly the same theres something fishy going on ,sucks too because now I don't want to give those strains a chance because rqs's version left such a bad taste in my mouth(literally and figuratively)

so I think I overwatered a little bit at the beginning and it was super small pots. So at least they have good roots system so I transplanted into the final 8l pots. I did the mix with the substrate with the Startrex, Mycotrex, and the Organic Tabs (1.5 tabs per plant for me). And I watered with a little bit of orgatrex and bactrex after transplanting.

Went fine. Windowsilll until I could see it pop above ground then into the tent on 95% rh -hardening it off 5% RH at a time. UPDATE; WEDNESDAY okay so I tried to fit in my 300w light but obviously it wouldn’t fit and so I thought “hmmm, what have I got about the house I can use?” I had a cob with one of those round pin heatsinks that is 100w but I obviously won’t be using it at the same timings as the main light, it is to boost the main light at certain points; mainly during flowering for a start!

Day 100 | 03/04/2022:💧 I am back from my holiday today but I will only be able to harvest them at the end of the week, so I watered them today. but with a reduced 1L each because I still want them to be more on the dry side when I am taking them off Day 105 | 08/04/2022: Today was harvest day and the girls look sooooo dry and yellow omg.. 😅 Maybe that 1L was not enough, but still it's better that they are on the dry side. They just all went so yellow in the last few weeks, obviously they werent getting any nutrients but also I harvested them a bit late

Veg a 200 grams Veg b 150 grams Zerotol 50ml Silica 25ml Bleach 10ml Flex 50ml About 3 weeks in at this point, I'm kind of off on my days at the moment lol. Dropped the feed this week 1.8 EC, plants definitely don't like the full feed and I added a little flex from drip hydro. Put up the trellis net double layer and removed a lot of plant material. I mainly just keep the dominant tops personally. Excited to see if I get any difference in flower quality and production with these new nutrients, switching to bloom nutrients next week. I'm running 2 different lights and the plants do grow slightly different under each.

Well I’m closing this one out. I had a lot of problems with humidity outside and bud rot, in hindsight i read a few reviews in the last few weeks and purple kush is susceptible to bud rot. I did 2 separate harvest, one on the 9th and one on the 14th. I collected everything I could smoke, there is still buds left on the plants but because of bud rot and immature buds I’m saying fuck it. Sonoma seeds quotes 9-10 weeks flower i harvested at week 8 and week 9. I harvested just shy of a pound total, and just over and oz of “purple” looking weed. Between you guys and i, the purple one was pretty shwaggy as far as bud goes. Would i grow this again outdoors? NOPE. Would i try it indoors? You will have to stay tuned for my next grow. If you plan to grow this strain outdoors do not do it. The fact that it’s pretty much 100%indica it does not like to get wet,🤦‍♂️🏻 if you are in the desert, indoors or live in Afghanistan (lineage) go for it. The taste is also not quite what I expected, all the reviews say grapes, but i taste a neutral taste. Some of it smells quite good in the jars but as soon as you smell each bud it smells like spicy woody herb with some dank undertone. Trimming it i had some sort of dank spicy smell i just can’t put my fingers on, except it was all over them. The buzz is “ok”but nothing to knock your socks off with. It is a stimulating feeling followed by a calm “not sleepy” feeling. I haven’t grown many outdoor variety’s but I’m sure most of them turn out the same. I’m waiting for my indoor no name to finish and I can start trying to redeem myself with my leftover seeds, and hopefully get the true quality/if there is, with this purple kush strain. It was an easy harvest as the colas developed nicely. Hardly any popcorn nugs and very little sugar leaves. If the weather had allowed it, I think she could have grown even bigger, but I'm more than happy with the outcome!

7/6: Heavy thunderstorms last night and half the day today, so they won't be ready to eat again for a few days. I went out to the site about an hour after it quit raining today and saw HUNDREDS of tiny little green grasshoppers feasting on my girls!!! I immediately sprayed them all down with pyrethrins, and did it again right before dark. I've got the fan blowing across the pots to try to dry them out faster. I started using TPS One (one part nute solution) the other day, and the plants seem to love it. Really growing well, but I'm glad I amended their soil with some happy frog fruit and flower granular fertilizer this time. They get fed whether it's too wet or not. 7/7: More grasshoppers this morning..I sprayed with pyrethrins. Very cloudy day...glad I've got 470w of supplemental light above them all day/every day (and another 200w in reserve)😎

Sour diesel is such a beautiful plant, with a robust structure and strong lime flavor.. full of terps.. the main bud looks a big rock.. might be the biggest main bud I ever had.. super frosty and definitely a genetic I will want to grow again.. can’t wait to harvest this baby.. I’m gonna flush it very soon, probably next watering.. plant is definitely going to the last weeks/days.. let’s go
