Week 5 of flower and stretch has been excessive in these F1 testers. Buds have been slow to develop and supercroppibg of 3 tops was necessary to maintain canopy consistency. The hollow stems are a good sign of things to come but I will say I was hoping for much better bud development. Perhaps unrealistic with this sativa dominant cross but still. I guess as long as the buds are fire, we’re prepared to deal with less overall yield. The system continues to perform admirably. It’s one major drawback is having to recirculate through an additional drainage pump. The cheap bilge pump we wired into the tray failed and flooded out a portion of the basement - my fault really as I knew the pump was crap and should’ve changed it earlier. Still can’t get past how much more simplistic a gravity dependent system is but despite that - I have no complaints about this equipment and it will get regular use regardless of any future set up changes. Alls good in da hood y’all👌🤟 Strain details She’s a mix of a particularly strong Northern Lights, crossed with a Spicy Bitch sativa hybrid. The hope is that we’ll be able to combine the overtly narcotic effects in the NL and mellow it out somewhat with the quality daytime sativa effects found in the SB. Both strains feature numerous grower qualities. Both parents possessed vigour and resiliency, the SB particularly colourful in late flower. These beans were the product of a shotgun breeding run that presented an unexpected opportunity so there’s quite a bit of testing that should flow from the various F1’s we’ve produced.

So Flowering has started, I defoliated a bit and started giving some Bloom and flower...the humidity is starting to stress me out because its super humid outside and getting some crazy RH (70/80%) I need to fix this before it becomes an issue. So I moved my clip on fan to the bottom to see if I could move the canopy a bit better. it lacks power though.

11/10 - comenzó su cuarta semana de floracion. Su evolución fue muy notoria, de un dia para el otro se desarrolló mucho. No tuve problemas en ninguna etapa, hasta el momento se encuentra perfecta. Los cocos son muy resinosos y grandes.

Day 43: I pulled the LED to the most possible height and she keeps stretching, thus I had to bend the main branch with LST clips to keep some distance to the LED to avoid light stress. Day 44: Today was cleaning day of the reservoir and a new set of nutrients are applied. I'm quite curious how they support her. I also removed some foliage. Day 45: I noticed some tip burn at the leafs of the main bud. So I checked the PH in the reservoir and noticed, that it is off and adjusted it. I hope this supports her. Also, it might be a bit of light stress, as she is pretty close to the light (~ 25 cm). Nothing else to do today. Day 46: I refilled the reservoir today. As I noticed, that the PH was off the last time, I lower now the PH from 6.4 to 5.6. This should also support her to consume the nutrients, as I use 50% coco. Day 47: Nothing to do, today. Day 48: I removed some fan leafs. Day 49: Last day of the week. She is really thirsty now. I decided to lower the humidity to 65% to get a VPD of around 1 kPa. Although the yellow appearance this lady has still been growing at the same rate as the rest and shooting out the side branches nicley , she is a week behind the rest due too the first seed not germinating but week by week progress has been the same as the others

Even tho they are in the shadow of the ginormous green cracks, that have vegged for over a month longer, these baby’s are doing magnificent.
