12 days to full transplantable roots. Right on schedule as expected. Moved 6 of the 12 clones (1 per plant) into a new 45L Rez that I cobbled together in an evening. Just small enough to fit into the cabinet. Hopefully the roots don’t choke each other out for territory while we work to reveg, re-flower and ultimately seed em all for the new F3 line. We’ll pick the best buds from the lot for the next testing run once we see what the pheno variation looks like from the main run in the tent. It’s a process and annoyance not to be yielding bud off a grow cycle but it is what it is if you want your own signature stuff. Alls good for now. Let’s just hope that the 6 coats of paint I threw on the lid is enough to keep out the grow light penetration🤞. Shoulda used black, whatever.

This strain is going to give a lot of big buds, its developing very well. It smells like sweet sour mango.

No more training, switched the lights to 120W+660nm+UV+IR. I had to increase the distance since the new QB is much hotter. The weather was very humid - AC working all the time, still 26.2C at night, usually 25C during daytime, 45% RH during day, 52% RH at nighttime .

February 20, 2019 update: The good news is the babies are all growing, the not so good news is there seems to be a slight bug infestation. Since taking these pics and video I have sprayed them with a mild Neem Oil & Water mix (about 20:1), hoping that helps. The MediKush are doing great with some beautiful tight nodes.

Great plant. Amazing harvest!!!

So here we are, at the end, a few months later. I was so happy that I'll finally grow a plant without any training at all, just to see the full and uninterrupted genetic expression. It was a blast to grow her, I can't wait for the plant to dry and give it a few weeks of curing but she smells great already. I also wanted to thank Divine Seeds for the contest strain and Bio Tabs for great Bio fertilizer. You can judge for yourself because I'll let the photographs speak for themselves. Speaking of photography, I went with a moody style this time, because she has a great structure. I've trimmed her a little bit here and there and I've left a few big fan leaves on both sides for better looks. The big fan leaves reflect the light so well, it make the whole plant shine. Skunk apple runtz I'm probably only going to keep 1 of these guys seeing the 2nd just has really bad growth so far. I'm sad about this I made this cross out my last grow and was hoping for the better end of things. The other plants is decent but we will see I hope it has the growth pattern of the lit farms Rick bobby and the bud structure of the obama runtz I grew It's looking like a good start to a week the plants are strong they are getting to the point I can let the dried dry out completely. I'm thinking by the end of this week the plants will be starting to be sold. Last week I put all the plants into my bigger 2x4 tent with my medicgrow mini sun 2 the 500w version. Only a few of the plants were ready for that light. Seems like the only plants that really have good resistance and have a strong start are the weedseedsexpress.com seeds. Shout out to weedseedsexpress.com for the strong plants. I ended up putting all the plants back into my 2x2 tent with the 55w amazon light it has alot more blue light in its spectrum. It's kinda weird b4 I switched the plants to the 2x4 tent they were getting 220umol under my amazon 55w led then when I put them under the 500w light 25% strength about 50in from plants and they were getting only about 195umol in that tent but it was stressing most the plants. I assume a larger light has more side lighting hitting the plants. I think when useing larger lights it's good to measure umols from the top but also coming from the sides. I think durring seedling stage they only need about 50% the umols coming from the side the plants as the top is receiving. When I put the plants back in the small tent about the same umols as they were getting b4 the switch and they were still a little stressed. So for a few days I put the small light at the top the tent giving them 100umols for a few hrs then 130umols the rest the day.

Start of week 7 and they looking great I think 🙃 had a problem with spiders but it's controlled now. That product "Anti-Sniper X" did worked very well. What you guys think? Out of 10?

Hello again, The Shamans are doing great but the Criticalkushes are still not showing any signs of preflowering, therefore they might not finish properly in mid October. After that, it is to cold to have them outside. I can try to shorten the flowering proces for the criticalkushes but that will result into small buds. On the other side I rather have small full developed buds then big fluffy undeveloped buds with less thc on it. We will see how it goes. I started to notice some trips on my criticalkushes as well, not a major problem, just a few. So I have to get some Canna Cure again, The last bottle has been empty for a few weeks, which is just my fault, little bit lazy. Will get another bottle of Canna cure asap. It had been protecting my plants for weeks and it really worked alot. Besides that it kills of insects, it also give nutrients to the leafs which they really can use since I also spotted some minor things on the leafs. Until next week!
