Experiment explanation see week1 This week nothing special happened with my both living soil plants...only the flowers got a bit more fat...nothing else Got some water and compost tea...thats it

17/09 - PH dropped overnight. Bumped back up to 5.8. EC 1.2, water level dropping. Might top off with higher nute dose tomorrow. D10 since pistills. Dehumidifer should be arriving early next week. 18/09 - PH dropped slightly overnight, EC considerably. Topped off with nute water at standard ratio but with added 3ml of calmag. PH now around 6, EC 1.2ish. 19/09 - PH stable at 6.0. EC 1.17, water level dropping. Was worried about last night, but she perked back up again this morning. Defoliated 15 leaves or so and noticed a branch with a wilting top. Going to keep an eye, but dont really want to chop at this stage unless absolutely neccessary. 20/09 - PH dropped to 5.9, EC to 1.07 morning, 5.8, .97 evening. Water level continues to drop. Leaves on problematic branch further wilted, but branch is strong. Chopped wilting leaves to see what happens. Defoliated 20 or so problematic leaves. Trying to gradually open her up a bit but avoiding stems so she doesnt get a nasty shock once the stretch finishes. 21/09 - Res top up at standard ratio with 3ml calmag. Roughly 10l drank over 3 days. PH now around 6, EC 1.1ish. Dehumidifer now running outside the tent, but humidity is still around 70%. Contuning to defoliate around 15 leaves a day where theyre clumping / blocking sites.

Harvest day - I save my harvest post for the yield results so I have one more to follow. Beautiful grow though and really impressed with the yield and results. I typically only grow indoors, this is my first full outdoor grow with a photo actually. It definitely changed how I view growing seeing the plants react outdoors. Also I’m in newly legal NY state and we would not be here today if it wasn’t for people like Jack Herer fighting for us at the most difficult times to do it. Jack was born in Buffalo, NY so this grow was a grow to pay homage to a man that led the way. This strain has also won the 2nd most cannabis cups behind only Skunk #1 a strain well deserving of the Jack Herer name.

Day 99. All 3 girls down. Wet trim . Can't wait to try them out. Scissors hash was so sweet ... 1.6 kg for wet plant is not bad too I think. Plant A should be biggest in this grow from all strains ... She has to beat 202 g. of AD. Happy Growing !!!

Added an humidifier to keep a constant humidity level of 55% in the grow room. The temperature just outside the grow room is 10C, and even more outside is 0C!! It's a miracle I can keep a temperature over 20C inside the room ;) UPDATE: TOPPED! A nice cut just over the 3rd node. She’s still kinda small and fat, and this is because of the light that was too close to the plant last week. Now she’s 60cm far away from that. Because of the top, I gave her 2ml of Voodoo Juice to help her radicate a little bit more. Let’s see what happens!

Start of week 15. A little defoliation and LST training on a few branches. The grow medium has not dried out enough since last week's repotting, so no feeding at this time. Update 6/15, moved to flowering room and 12/12 light.

Everything has been growing great this week! These autos sure do grow fast! but did have a slight issue with the Fast buds BlackBerry getting a little bit too top heavy so I moved her closer to the light. BIG BIG apologies to Heather from fast buds & to Growdiaries & anyone who follows. The past few months have been a massive struggle, not just with temperatures & growing weed but on a personal level. My wife has been very poorly & with covid and everything going on, it's put a massive strain on us all!! I've tries to maintain an active presence on Instagram but that's about all I've physically had time for. I've put this update together today, so far into the grow now it almost seems pointless. I lost my original Mimosa due to high temps & high RH. Moving into the attic at that time of year was a mistake. It has cost me a small fortune to keep things alive. I've had to purchase an air con unit, more fans & just more of everything to be honest. My purple punch is almost ready to harvest, any time within the next couple of days, followed shortly by Bruce Banner & Kosher cake. I wont be winning any awards for this Diary & I feel bad as I was supposed to be show casing what 420 Fast buds has to offer & I've failed...miserably. Day 44 01/07/2025, I flushed with a quarter strength nutrient solution but kept with the usual does of cannazym and Rhizotonic as sure it could only help her, im experiencing some issues with yellowing and a few brown spots plus tip burn, I've never done an auto before and never considered that they might need less feed than a photoperiod, feel very stupid, so with that being considered I think it was probably for the best and will move forward with half strength feeds. I am also actually trying to get the night cycle in check as I've been advised of some processes that won't happen with the low VPD that I was allowing to happen at night, the dehumidifier works but also heats the room up to nearly daytime temps, it's a desiccant dehumidifier though and I think it just pumps out more heat, I'll have to reinvest in a more suitable dehumidifier Maybe the issue is too much calmag, it also has iron in it and an iron excess can cause a manganese deficiency, unsure.. I have had some heat issues over the last week hit 30c for a short time and has been consistently over 28c, I have kept the humidity higher to keep vpd in line but it's not great, this is just due to some very warm conditions in my area over the last week or so, and I just don't have the cooling capacity to deal with it, hoping things cool down a bit now so I can at least make sure temperature is ok..

The tent smells so great each morning when I open it, this is my favorite phase of growing. I love watching them develop and thicken up days after day. Start of 3rd week of flowering looking good. Pollinated last week with some feminized Black Jack Auto pollen. Will make for a nice feminized hybrid. Great 3rd week of flowering.

Week 1 Report: The White OG - Solo Survivor’s Journey Survivor Status: One Seedling Standing Strong 🌱 Our girl The White OG is standing tall and doing her thing! While some seeds may take their time or not make the cut, this resilient little seedling is already setting the tone. With close to 100% relative humidity (RH) under the dome, she’s got the ideal environment to kickstart her roots and early growth. Environment: Humidity Dome Life • RH: Close to 100%, creating that tropical atmosphere where seedlings thrive. Humidity at this level helps keep her cells hydrated, and with a dome, moisture is consistently recirculated. This prevents her from drying out and promotes steady root and leaf development. • Lighting: For now, we’re keeping the intensity low. At this young stage, seedlings benefit from indirect, gentle light, just enough to encourage photosynthesis without causing stress. Future of Grow LED on a dim setting (200 PPFD) does the job, providing the perfect balance for early growth. Water & Nutrition: Keeping It Simple No heavy nutrients this week; she’s working off the stored energy in her seed. The aim is to keep the soil or Root Riot cube slightly moist but not soaked. Overwatering can drown young roots, so light misting is all she needs to stay comfortable and growing strong. Growth Observations: Slow but Steady Wins the Race Our solo survivor might be growing at her own pace, but that’s exactly what we want! At this early stage, less is more, and slow growth often indicates a strong foundation. We’re looking for stable, healthy roots and tight early nodes as she finds her rhythm. Grower’s Tips for Week 1 1. Humidity Control: Keep RH high but watch for condensation build-up. Too much moisture can invite mold, so allow some airflow if needed. 2. Stay Light on Water: Just enough misting to keep the medium damp. 3. Patience Is Key: Each plant has its own pace; giving her time to establish now sets her up for a strong journey. Next Steps As we move into Week 2, I’ll be keeping an eye out for early leaves (cotyledons) opening up, as well as steady, even growth. Not too much to report on this week besides beginning LST. I did a few pistils appearing, may be in pre-flower, but not positive as it’s my first auto. Will progress as normal. Video/photos taken 21 days after breaking soil.

ULH1 is finishing its weird flowers, will be harvested in a couple of days because its almost done and i need the pot for the AH2. WOuld let her more time if she had normal flowers... ULH2 is putting some weight in the flowers this week. AH1 is growing like a real monster. The weather is better than a couple of months ago, so im sure both AH will grow big ^^, feeding her high, she seems to eat a lot . AH2 the lil baby is rooting and waiting for a new final pot.
