Hey hey growmies! another longer week, as I wanted to show these girls bouncing back from some problems I ran into with my Kratky experiment. about halfway through the week my plants started drooping and showing signs of overwatering, my guess is either the plant outgrew her air roots or the reservoir was too hot, inhibiting the plants ability to take up oxygen. either way, a quick peek at the roots showed some very healthy looking noodles, so I decided to not take any chances and come up with a solution that would solve both those problems. I took a 3 litre container, put a coat of primer and black paint on it to keep light out, then a layer of plumbers tape to bounce some of the grow lights off of the container, theoretically keeping the heat out, some other things I could have done was paint it white, or put some wall insulation around it. I could have also kept my jars and tried some troubleshooting, fill them less and more often. but I am happy with the roots created by Kratky, that's the nice thing about that system, it forces the roots to grow more horizontally, the roots have now created a sturdy foundation for low stress training and are perfect for placing into DWC. so that's what I did, I added a tiny pump and air stone, and for now both plants will sit in this tiny container, The Runtz will be moved to the tent as soon as possible, hopefully before these girl's roots get entangled, If that does happen, I will have to trim back some of the Runtz roots, I don't want to hurt the autoflower. now you've likely wondered what is up with the host of deficiencies the plants are showing, honestly that's just neglect on my part. I can tell there's damage from overwatering, pH fluctuations and even some lockouts. I am more on top of it now, the pH is more stable, the plants are getting oxygen and will recover plenty before flower. Plus I get to show off how hardy ruderalis is, look at the auto-flower compared to the photo period, she barely cares about the high temps, pH fluctuations all she appears to want is more food, so I have increased the ec to 1 ms, but most importantly, ill keep the pH in a range where they can actually take up the nutrients now That's it for now Growmies, Thanks for checking out my diary. It's been a beautiful strain to work with, the flowrs are definitely worth it after all this time, the quality is definitely high. However this pheno of ak420 smells very different from the other 2 phenos I've grown along with her. The flowrs are beautiful, very solid and frosty nuggets, I smoked a few little nuggets when trimming but I'm excited to taste the big buds, hope you guys enjoyed the process. I want to say that this pheno #1 has a different smell compared to the other 2 phenotypes of ak420 that you can see here on my page as well, so stay tuned guys! Overall result is very nice, good quality, strong weed, sticky, stinky. 1/24 - 1/28: Fed on 1/28. The SO's and MW's have entered the harvest window. and both the Platonium and Velvet Sugah Bref are right behind them, so it was the last feeding for everybody except maybe the GG4.

Week 3 of Flower (Day 15-21) Should be the last days of stretch. Hopefully, because the height is limited and i do not want to rethink the top of my growtent. Beautiful flower development and i have had no problems in flower so far. I will turn the nutes up a bit, as they have not complained so far. Furthermore, i will lollipop or make a major defoliation when stretch is done, in order to deal with temp and humidity. oh boy these girls just love to stretch a lot! They have doubled their height in just one week. It's the sativa genes in this baby! I love this one outside where you can let her go wild!

These have been growing kind of slowly but I got the temps up a little this week by adding some extra light and am getting vpd dialed in. These will only be in this tent for a few more days I am just starting to harvest the main tent so once that is done they will be moved to the Gorilla Grow Tent and put under the new Growlightscience LEDs so we can see how the perform full cycle. The autos will have to get moved back into this tent once I flip the main tent but the photos will prob need a few weeks of veg before that happens. Been doing foliars with the Growzyme from greenbuzz as well before lights out every other night which seems to make them happy. I think theyll take off over the next couple weeks.

Girls had a nice stretch this week and will be heavily defoliated by the end of week three

06/15/2020 Harvesting a good amount of pollen, not sure if you can see but it is cloudy in here. Female will be fed Happy Frog fruit and flower 9-4-3. And that will be all she gets till harvest time (seeds popping out.) Next week male should be spent, putting out clouds of pollen every day very copious amounts! And diary will continue till I harvest her seed. Just topping off reservoir with plain water for the male I have got 1.3 grams of beautiful pollen to selectively pollinate only the finest of female specimens for at least 6 months. Cookie Cake will get dusted with this bad boy. As well as Red Sky #1

On day 1 I adjusted the PH from 6.6 to 6.2. The tallest cola is 13.75" away from light. On day 2 I adjusted the PH from 6.4 to 6.2. The tallest cola is 12.5" away from light. On day 3 the PH is 6.2. The tallest cola is 11.5" from the light. On day 4 I didn't take data points long day... On day 5 the rez PH is 6.2. the tallest cola is 10" from the light. On day 6 the rez PH is 6.0. The tallest cola is 9.5" from the light. I defoliated heavily to bring in more light and airflow. On day 7 The tallest cola is 9" from the light. I mixed up a new rez.

I love this strain. The color, the size, easy to grow. LSD-25 is just an exciting plant, beautiful purple shows up early, buds are a beautiful dark purple. I would recommend everyone tries it.

The American Pie #1 does not look like it’s ready to begin flushing quite yet, as she appears to be about a week behind in maturity. Despite that, I’ll still begin flushing her today too. Recycled water: 70ppm, 69℉ + pH Up: 7ml Mixture: 95ppm, 6.4 pH, 69℉ ppm/ppm = runoff/soil JB#1 - 895/800, 6.1 pH AP#1 - 529/434, 6.5 pH AP#2 - 365/270, 6.7 pH GC#1 - 624/529, 6.3 pH -------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Week 8, Day 51 - FLOWER: 06/14/2021 Did a trichome check on the plants today. Spent more time with the Jelly Banana to better determine her maturity level. She actually looks like she is ready to harvest today. I’d say trichomes are 75-80% milky, with an amber trichome here and there. I’m going to try and push her through at least one more low-ppm watering and test the runoff. Jelly Bananen started to turn a lime green color so she'll probably get chopped and hung up in the next few days when my second tent arrives (4x2 AC Infinity). That wraps up this week!
