Had to tear out my best looking Deep Purple because it was a male :(. So bummed 🙁 so only have one left so fingers crossed. Two of the fast buds CBD got about one week left. The other on is twice the size and about 3 weeks left. They smell very citrusy 🍋. Grow on!!

I went for a little defoliation on this couple of ladies, taking off some fan big leafs, I think this ladies are going to produce some really god flowrs, I'm always amazed by this genetic, the aroma it's extremely pleasant, very fruity stinky and tropical, I have harvested a haze berry a few weeks ago which you can check on my page, really excited to have this couple of haze berry by royal queen seeds, let's see how they perform! Double Smile #1 was harvested on the 23/09/2022, her trichomes were 10% amber and the rest were milky. She had faded out a deep dark red/purple and was coated in a layer of thick frost. She’s currently drying out at 58%RH - 17*C. Chopped off the main fan leaves, but left everything else on for hopefully a slower dry. Double Smile #2 is still maturing, il keep my eye on her, she could potentially have a few weeks left. Happy with how everything looks, until next time 🌱💚

You can really see how the lights shine in comparison to my older ones. The brightness of the leds is next level and I can use their V1 spectrum from seed to harvest. Its a great balance of red and blue in a full spectrum light. The medic grow mini sun 2 is a all purpose light that I can see myself getting lots of use out of in the future. Plus they fit in my tent just as snug as my last ones and that's a big thing for me, I don't like dim corners. I am using the lights at 80% dim level. this will be raised to 100% when they enter flower :D First time useing lights I can dim. they also have an onboard timer attached to them, I will be playing aorund with this to see if its something I want to use in the coming weeks, I all ready have all the external timers so I can see how this is a useful tool for anyone starting off without them. On top of all this I also transplanted my plants into their final pots. they went from a .7-.8L to a 2gal or 7.5L, all the root balls on the plants where perfect, nice white roots, maybe a bit compacted for the size and might explain why I am having some issues with them but healthy none the less. I think they will not start to grow a bit better and I will see less issues moving forward. I still have yet to get a new PH pen but I am blindly guessing the PH by adding 2 drops of phosphoric acid ph down per 1gal of feed solution. it seems to be working out just fine. Beautiful ak phenotype she's looking super awesome, very healthy although she's struggling with a little fungus gnats pest she's a champion, beautiful plant, very strong can't wait to try her buds.

Day 141 still going started to reveg but lowered light schedule

The Black Devil's OG is trucking along without issue, while the Northern light is a tad on the droopy side at night and is likely expecting earlier night hours. I will likely adjust my light schedule to reduce the stress. The videos posted came out pretty well, considering they came out of a cell phone camera. 400x ends up being really blurry as the phone can't focus properly to compensate, but you can still see all the bacteria dancing around. Some nematodes and ciliates there too.

Today October 25th is the First day of Week 6 In Flower. Received the Refractometer and got right to pressing. First I tried a mortar and pestle to extract the sap -- this worked ok but took a lot of time and force. Then I tried 2 spoons held together and squeezed with vice grips (didn't work for me). 2 Pieces of MDF board squeezed together with vice grips didn't work either. I guess I'm not strong enough. Tried a blender, a hand blender...neither of these worked! Then the vice, it was faster and took less force to extract the sap. Works great! Took leaves from top to bottom of each individual plant. (16 plants) Rolled a few leaves up, put in a numbered piece of parchment and pressed.....voila...sap😃 Refractometer was already calibrated and ready to go. Placed sap on meter, held up to light and there it is! My first BRIX reading😮 using $28 Refractometer. Going to change base nutrients to a "hard water" formula. So impressed with Harley Smith that I've ordered some NPK RAW products. Like the idea of micro dosing. I sent Harley an email and he replied the same day! Not a canned response either. So cool. Thanks Harley! AND he took a look at GrowDiaries and this grow✊😃 What a kind gentleman. 😇 Hope I didn't go overboard but I watered again today with amino acids and cal mend to try to fix this Calcium def. Will Brix leaves tomorrow and see if this makes a difference. The brix line yesterday was very clear and very easy to read indicating a calcium def. Maybe locked out from too much phosphorous or hard water? Watered Oct 29 & 30 Temp 20 PH 6.4 EC 1.9 Runoff EC 1.9 to 2.3 after at least 2-3 Gallons of water put thru each pot. Some pots Runoff were way off the charts😵EC 3.6! . Put water thru until EC hit 2.3 on 2 pots others were EC 1.9 to 2.1. Put 56 Gallons or 220L thru plants over a 2 day period until I reached a better EC.
