Coming to a close here with Tangie'matic. This grow has been so enriching! I decided to go outside of my comfort zone and head strong into the controversial world of topping autoflowers. Some people swear by it, others stand by their stance that topping an autoflower will destroy any chance at a decent yield by stunting the plant in its already limited life cycle. This plant has been a true partner throughout this grow process. I pushed with the top, she pushed back with buds. I pushed her again by changing her grow environment when I decided to prematurely move my grow tent into the basement. She stacked and fattened. When I traveled and let her house get too chilly, she tossed me a couple of foxtails to remind me that I need to do a better job. I responded with more environment correction and she rewarded me by finishing up beautifully.

7 months after planting her from seed the day is finally here. A little earlier than I would of liked due to insects (crickets/grasshoppers eating buds) but she's thereabouts finished. Probably lost 1/3 of buds from the chewing insects but still a big yield and my drying room is full 😊 She survived two rainy season's and some serious wind from a tropical depression back in September. I have kept this grow completely organic so no pesticide or chemical fertilizers used. Apart from heavily amending the soil at the start I mostly fed her crabmeal once a month and seaweed and molasses in most waterings. A few of those waterings were diluted with my urine 😆👌 NPK right!? Why not.. then at the end I added a cultured pro biotic yogurt to the soil 2 days before I harvested. (Tip from a fellow grower @med_in_tropic - thanks bro) Not sure if it made any difference as I cannot compare with another plant but, the plant starting smelling like lemon furniture polish.. like a lemon scent with a fuel undertone. Almost menthol like 🤷‍♂️.. smells amazing. Me and my wife drank tea from the trimming and the citrusy flavour came though into the tea which was nice. Weather wise the temperature is down now to around 16c at night with RH around 50% so the buds should dry much slower than the last harvest so I should get a better flavour profile. Smoke report to follow after she has been in a jar for a week or so.. I did try a bud sample a few weeks back and the taste then was already pleasant so for sure this will be fire... 🔥 Thanks for all the kind comments, this was my first ever grow start to finish. Vamos familia, actualizamos la quinta semana de vida de estas Permanent Maker de Seedstockers. La temperatura que estuvo entre los 24-26 grados y humedad dentro de los rangos correctos. Todavía estamos en el ciclo 16 horas luz, 8 oscuridad, estiraron bien y ensancharon bastante también, el color es verde sano. Se nota que los nutrientes de la marca Agrobeta hacen sus funciones. Alright! Here we see the plant in her 3 week, we have a day one and a last day of that week to see in comparison. There's some Spanish in the pics cause I was teaching how to grow from scratch. At this point the plant was going through treatment, being sprayed twice a day to change sex.

Séptima semana de los esquejes, va todo bien y nada fuera de lo común. Empecé a mezclar agua purificada con el agua de la llave para tener una EC mas equilibrada ya que aun no me llega el producto que había comprado, pero de alguna manera tenia que solucionarlo y por el momento va bastante bien. Les realice una defoliación a los dos esquejes para que se definan bien sus brotes "principales" y estos tomen más fuerza. Los dos respondieron bastante bien a esté estrés. Hoy agregue la malla para scrog pero aún ninguna llega a la altura pero pronto lo harán. También estoy esperando que la Negra 44 que los acompaña crezca lo suficiente para comenzar la floración por esto deben quedar alrededor de 2-3 semanas de vegeta. La temperatura con el led apagado esta entre 16-17ºC y ya no puedo hacer más. Hice todo lo que estaba a mi alcance así que lo mas probable es que se mantenga en esos rangos durante el cultivo. Espero que esto no genere mayores dificultades en el cultivo. Cualquier recomendación sera bien recibida!! *Al final una foto del guardián del cultivo.
