Wow week two of flower is done and I am SO happy with how these four girls are doing. Day 9F/72S they got their first top dressing of Power Bloom at 75ml right before watering, dug into first few inches of soil like usual. I make sure to top dress the Power Bloom every 3 weeks and the other additives every 4 weeks, seems to keep the plants happy. Day 12F/75S things are looking healthy but quite bushy and I'm seeing some growth on the low parts of branches and below main canopy level so did a good cleanup at lights out. Helps to keep from wasting energy on bud sites that will get very little light and produce small/larfy buds. Also redirects that energy into the tops for bigger yields 🤞. Took off a good amount lots of airflow down there now. Day 14F/77S. All the girls are looking happy and healthy. Spending their days praying to the light and packing on bud sites! Looking down on the canopy she is just about full, glad I left some space to start! Oh and there was no noticable shock to the plants from the trim on the 12th day so that's good. Have been keeping the light at 16" from main canopy (aside from 3-4 extra tall branches) and running 100%. Goal is to let them grow another 3" so they are 13" from light and then will raise daily for the last bit of their growth. Should keep it around 750-950umol/s. Still watering 3L per plant every 3 days with just the slightest runoff from each. Tested runoff and is 6.7, usually don't do this but had enough one watering and was curious so figured why not. Was a great week can't wait to see next week's changes!

Hi all buddies! First crop from hydro nft growth. Growth went well, I had some management problems in changing nutrients from veg to bloom which delayed the harvest for a week or two. Sensi Seeds' Skunk # 1F is incredibly resistant to mold and insect attacks, very close internodes ensure low height and compact buds. Unfortunately I chose the mother phenotype wrong, I found the lowest as I wanted but I lost the fatness of the buds present in other phenotypes, but the game was worth the same and I am very proud of it! I collected after 94 days of flowering, the last 72h 20kg ice cubes in the tank and total darkness which the last 24h without irrigation. After cutting I hung the whole plants in the tent for 24 / 48h 19 ° C 55% HR. Two days of wet trim to 8 girls and I hung their colas in the tent to continue drying. With a girl i tried dry trim but i will avoid next time. After a week in the tent I cleaned the colas and removed all the sticks, I placed everything in airtight bags in the refrigerator for 5 days 12 ° C 65% HR (daily check). Now dark storage room at a temperature of 18 ° C 65% HR. At the last weighing a few days ago it was more than 500g, from now it does not lose any more weight. Opium loves the outside sun, breeze, and frequent rain. Week 9 6/2-6/8 Now at the start of week 9, my outside gals, except L. Cake are now in flower. Several pics show the very narrow new leaves and small white hairs evidence of flower formation. 6/7 This is the first time I’ve had to add nutrients to her feeding. Some lower leaves were yellow. Since I’ve been using amended soil, this indicates Fractal is a heavy feeder. All are showing yellowing leaves so everyone is now getting nutrients with feedings. I saw a Japanese beetle on my Lemon Cake and some small holes in the leaves so I added 1/2 tsp neem to the feed solution 6/12. Also started using fish & kelp. I'm still watering 1 gal per plant when I feed 2x/week. With the heat and humidity, I water daily but do not feed daily. 7/4 SUN was poking out a little bit. Plants loved that little feeding and seen to he noticeable larger this morning. I'm considering starting the nutes. At least the organic ones as well as upping the water intake I've been scared to water with all this rain and my experience last time. I plan on applying BT this afternoon and doing some work on the bottoms of the plants. I also saw a chipmunk in my cage so I have some spots in my fence that need to be patched. I know I can't compare this year to orher years as these are seeds and all the other years were clones. I CAN say for certain that my plants are healthiest they've been out of any of my journals. Previous plants were much larger but I was fighting numerous fungal, pathogens and pests at the sane time. Ear wigs would've lollipopped most buddies by now but I've seen no sign of them. I'm going to apply more poison where they were and add some rat traps inside the cage for the chipmunks. Once I fix the cage I think I'll be good. UPDATE: Went back over and fixed the holes on my cage from high winds. I found an old wire trap or cage and just cut sections and ziptied them to the existing wire and to the structure thus covering any open holes. I'll need to put lathes aroubdvtge outside because if a rodent REALLY wanted in they could get in. My belt had been wearing thin but I use shit until it breaks (yesterday the heal came off my shoe lol) so I was working hard sweating my nuts off and my belt gives out totally. At least ive got the major stuff done. I took a few videos too. I'm imagining it was this little bit of sun that gave these plants that boost of growth but I'm wondering if the added nutes had anything to do with it. Bags weren't light and I could feel moisture in the soil so I didn't water. I'll check again tomorrow morning. Since I didn't see many plants or even leaves for that matter with damage I decided to hold off ob the BT and the plant doctor. Only time will tell if that was the right decision. 7/5 Plants look fantastic. I see a few more holes in leaves sporadically amd I'm hoping it's pillars. I've seen lots of lightning bugs on my camera though and grasshoppers are abundant. Not one growth shoot has been chewed (knock on wood) which is what the earwigs had always done. I watched a video from last year and by nowcthey had lollipopped all lower leaves. It may not be the best weather growing season wise but despite the rh consistently in the 90's I still don't have pm or fungal pathogens. Need to get the BT out. Didn't water as we've had all that rain. I'll water either tonight or tomorrow morning. Sunny high in the 90s low is 66. Tomorrow looks good too. UPDATE WENT BACK OVER AROUND FIVE. IT WAS 88 DEGREES SO I WANTED TO CHECK THE GROW BAGS. THE POTS ARE FINE. IT WAS HUMID AS HELL. ONE PLANT WAS SLIGHTLY DROOPY BUT VERY LIGHT AND DRY. I FOUND TWO OTHERS THAT SEEMED LIGHTER THAN THE REST BUT HADNT DROOPED. I MIXED TWO GALLONS OF WATER WITH 1TSP KANGOROOTS AMD PHED IT CLOSE TO 6. I FED THE 3 PLANTS THAT WERE SUPER DRY LIKE A HALF GALLON AND SPRED THE REST OVER THE OTHER EIGHT PLANTS. THEY WERENT DROOPING BUT THEY WERE VERY DRY. I PLAN ON A FULL WATER TOMORROW. I WOULDVE DONE IT TODAY IF THE TEMPS WERENT SO HIGH. ITS RAINED A MONTH STRAIGHT SO I HAVENT HAD TO WATER. I MADE A COUPLE VIDEOS BUT I'LL HAVE TO UPLOAD TOMORROW. 7/6 Another super hot day. I hefted the pots and they still had some weight but I could tell they were dry. This rain has messed up my watering schedule. Well it made it so I didn't NEED to water. These are big plants now. I need to get a schedule to stick too. They're going to probably need a gallon a piece at least. I'm still nervous watering. Right now I'm just reading the plants. I added .5tsp kelp me/you to 1 gallon of water to help with heat stress. I fed an additional two gallons to the garden this morning including the two container plants in the back. They were dry on top too but I know they have water deeper down. Next watering I'll be more consistent and try to give them there 10%. It's great having the bags elevated. I can finally see when I start getting run off. I could even measure the ph of it instead of relying on that meter. Ill check the ph when I go back over. Still a few 🐛 holes but they are few and far between. I really don't want to spray for such a small problem but if I cant find them at night that's what I'll do. UPDATE: Another 90 degree day. I went back over and gave the garden a gallon of water as they were dry and it didn't rain. Tried to use a soil ph meter to check ph. First couple were 6.4, 6.5 then I got 7.3 and I accidently dropped it. Then I got somethings that were high eights and even one 9! Obviously the Meter shit the bed. I'll lower the ph of the water slightly when I fully water tomorrow and I'm going to measure the runoff. 7/8 I must've messed up the journal again as the dates are off. GAVE PLANTS A FULL WATERING. Each girl got a gallon. I couldn't upload my videos this morning as I had to break up a fight. 3 on 1. Didn't give me a chance to put the videos up. I'll take some stills then I can upload them. I took stills and they all uploaded but didn't fucking save. I'm nit going to keep trying to upload if it's not going to. Noticed a few more holes in leaves and one skeletinized leaf so I need to either spray the bt or something more versatile. I'm putting more poison around the cage and de between the bags. Noticed the bags were fairly light despite the plants being soaked amd the pallets wet. I was pressed for time. I gave two gallons to the entire garden. I hope that will hold them over until tomorrow. I'll need to up how much water I give them. Going with a gallon and a half next time. I see more pillar spots and a moth took off when I shook the plants this morning. So I'm gonna have too apply the BT. I figure if I go over before dark tonight I might be able to see aju nocturnal insects around. Luckily my dad feeds the birds and they are always there. I think they help with pests. UPDATE IT WAS A LITTLE COOLER TODAY BUT MICH MORE HUMID. I WENT AROUND SIX TO MAKE SURE THE GIRLS WERE OK WITH WATER AND TO GIVE THEM A TREATMENT OF BT. I WENT THROUGH THE GARDEN ANDCGOUND THREE LEQVES TO DEFOLIATE AND LITERALLY A COUPLE LEAVES ON TWO PLANTS WITH PILLAR HILESM WHEN I ARRIVED TWO BIRDS FLEW OUT. A HORNET CAME IN WHILE I WAS THERE. THIS DO LESS APPROACH SEEMS TO BE REALLY WORKING. I DODNT SEE NEARLT ENOUGH DAMAGE TO WARRANT SPRAY8NG MY EXTREMELY HEALTHY GIROS WITH ANYTHING. ILL KEEP AN EYE ON THEM AND CLEAN THEM UP A BIT. I DO NEED TO INSTALL THE VERY8CAL TRELLIS FOR SUPPORT. THEYRE PRETTY HEALTHY THOUGH. ONE PLANT IS ABOUT AS WIDE AS IT IS TALL. STILL......PLANTS ARE EXPLODING AND ITS GETTING TIGHT IN THERE. I NEED TO GET THE TRELLIS UP THOUGH. 7/10 I went over and was planning to water. Plants were wet and it's raining. Top of the medium was moist but the bags were light. ONE bag was super light but seeing that we are having showers all day and an additional half inch of rain coming tonight so I didn't water them. Especially since they looked great. Decided to to spray BT yet as the damage is so small and i think the birds have been taking care of the pillars for me. Now I'm wondering if I should've gave that ONE plant a little bit of water but it will be find. Did a video. I'm being careful not to over water. Last year this is when all my buddies were devoured by earwigs. And no senescence like the years before. I think it was hust those earwigs. I haven't lost shot for leaves. Even the stalks are bright green and look amazing.

Back to the good stuff! • Took clones of the Chem Brûlée and Pineapple Meatball to determine sex •Those girls are extremely root bound at this point... but don't want to accidentally transplant a male into the BIG pots since I am on a plant count restriction (6 mature plants in California) Here's my Super Soil Recipe: Sonoma Sungrown 2021 Photoperiod Soil Recipe Makes ~8 cubic feet of Supersoil (enough for 3x30 gallon smart pots) 7 cubic feet Roots 707 Potting Soil .5 cubic foot worm castings 1.25 lbs. bone meal 1.25 lbs. fish bone meal 2.5 lbs. high phosphorus bat guano 2.5 lbs. blood meal 1.5 cups oyster shell 1.5 cups kelp meal 1.5 cups alfalfa meal 1/3 cup Epsom salts 1/2 cup agricultural lime 1 cup Azomite 1 tbsp granular humic acid 1 tbsp mycorrhizae (mykos)

Everything went good. Had some issues with build up but first time in coco and autopots so was bound to be something! Haha but over all was easy !

Okay, let's see how this flowering week goes. 16/10 the one that is tied, it is definitely over 80 cm, the others should be on average around 65-70 cm 17/10 - almost 90 cm, 80 cm and 76 cm, all tied up

10/19: This morning when I opened up the closet I wanted to rearrange a little, but they were so packed in, it was almost impossible. So, I went up in the attic and ran some cables and hooked up my other 200w light in the top section. I moved the 4 smallest plants up there and it created a little bit of desperately needed space in the lower section...but I still doubt very seriously that I'll be able to grow all 15 to completion in there..it's only 14.5 square feet of space!😳 10/20: I foliar fed everybody with some SP-90 humic/fulvic acid and kelp me kelp you today. They will probably get fed again tomorrow. Drying out quickly- 10/21: I applied Axiom again today..I sprayed a whole liter of the finest mist I could produce..tops and bottoms of all leaves to the point of runoff. I fixed up a 5 gallon batch of nutes and fed everybody about a 1/4 gallon each. Later the same day.... Several of them look very overwatered..and it's mainly the plants in the back in fabric pots that have seen a grow or two. I think my pots are mainly just too close together for airflow to dry the bottoms out well enough. I put another big fan in the closet and turned off the evap cooler for the night. 10/22: Most of them look better this morning, but a few are still droopy, so I used a stainless steel skewer to poke a thousand little holes in the lower part of all the fabric pots in the garden to try and improve oxygen availability to the roots. I also carefully arranged the garden so that there are gaps between all the pots. I think I'll also space my waterings a little further apart. The topsoil is drying out well enough, but I don't want their roots sitting in muck. 10/23: Several of them are flowering now, and starting to stretch a little bit. I raised the lights about 2 inches today and dialed the ac infinity's high temp trigger up to 88f for a bit to get them to dry out a little faster, so the RH climbed a little higher as well...so I also set the ac infinity's high humidity trigger threshold to 65%. After observing signs of nitrogen toxicity on several of them, I realized that I made another rookie mistake...(where is my head??) The new 5 gallon bucket I'm using to mix a batch of nutes must be about 2 inches shorter than the one I had been using, and I never bothered to calibrate it....which I did today. So, for the past couple of feedings, I've been mixing in enough nutes for 5 gallons, but in only 4 gallons of water!!! I foliar fed them with BoomBoom Spray and gave them about 8oz each of boomerang and cal-mag early in the morning, and by 5pm they all looked happier. I'll give them a little drink of plain water tomorrow, then start them on flowering nutes the next day. 10/24: Several are starting to stretch now...and all but one are flowering. This morning I fed them another little dose of boomerang and cal-mag, and also added some bembe and open sesame to the mix. This afternoon, I foliar fed everybody very thoroughly with some humic/fulvic acid, seaweed extract, yucca extract, and big bloom (for the earthworm castings and minor and trace elements) I repotted the dwarf in a smaller container and gave it to my son. He's a bonsai enthusiast, so it's right up his alley...that's one less plant to deal with! 10/25: This evening I mixed up 5 gallons of pretty much everything except grow big. and gave everybody about 1/4 gallon each. I plan to flush them with sledgehammer on Sunday or Monday and only do foliar feedings like BoomBoom spray and fulvic acid until I resume normal bloom feeding mid-week. Because I've had such a good veg, I'm pretty sure the maximum number of plants I'll be able to fit into the lower section is 13...and maybe only 12. So, that will be my 4 or 5 shortest plants in the area above..in which case, I'll need more light... I think the new UVB light will have to wait until my next grow because I've got so spend a couple hundred bucks on seeds to be able to start another batch right before my current run finishes.😖😞😩😡

Week 4 – Flowering (Day 22–28) 🌸🌱 At the end of Week 3 (Day 21) we carried out a deeper round of defoliation and some lollipopping. By now the stretch is coming to an end, with the plants settling close to their final height. We’ve also stopped foliar feeding, since every single plant is now covered in developing buds. To keep everything protected, we refreshed the beneficial insects, better be safe than sorry, how we say in German, sicher ist sicher. Already in this early stage of flowering, we can clearly spot differences in structure, bud formation and even the first aromas. Some phenos are showing exceptional promise — those will be the ones we’ll highlight more in the coming updates. 🔎 Pheno notes so far: SD1-1 – balanced structure, even bud distribution. SD1-33 – tall central cola with healthy branching. SD2-13 – compact structure, promising stacking. Sativa Dream expresses an old-school sweet Afghan aroma with a citric twist, setting it apart from the rest of the room.

Up to now they looking pretty good and strong, even tho some of the plants are not as dense and is maybe a bit late to date with the other ones. Ill have to give them another 1 or 2 other weeks until harvest. The trichromes look preety good even tho.in the picture dosent show well. They starting to consume less water and the leaf colour is starting to fade slightly .
