Seems like all is in order. I had to go away for a week because of an emergency and luckily a friend looked after them, only thing he wasn’t sharp on was training and defoliating which is why it got so big and bushy last week. Still no nutrient deficiencies. I visited a website called cannastats a month ago and it actually breaks down ppm requirements for each element. Was a lot of work to get my spreadsheet to calculate properly, but really seems to be working. If anyone wants further details on this, feel free to DM me. I think the big stretch last week was caused by high temps, as a window was left shut when it shouldn’t have been, and also the light wasn’t in the middle because my friend moved the lights up and didn’t realise, so the colas at the back stretched more... that’s my theory anyway. Overall all is good, switch back to 3200k bulbs again today. Need a wide angle lenses to take a photo of this thing, she’s huge...

Hey everyone! Hope you're all doing amazing! TickTockCroc is back for another grow! ┏(＾0＾)┛ Last time, I did a Fastbuds Girl Scout Cookies grow in my closet using a small pot. Yielded 22g dry weight (lol). Didn't do any ph monitoring or temperature control until later. This time... I'm determined to do it better! For this grow I will be doing: 2 x Fastbuds Girl Scout Cookies 2 x Fastbuds Gelato I AM DOING A SEPARATE DIARY FOR EACH STRAIN. THIS DIARY WILL ONLY BE UPDATING PROGRESS WITH THE GIRL SCOUT COOKIES! For this set-up, I decided to get a 1.2m x 1.2m x 2.0m tent and a carbon filter with fan. Also using fabric pots instead of plastic. For lights I'm using my old 600W Viper LED. I love this set-up!! This diary is starting on Day 7 from seed for the GSC. They just got moved to the tent yesterday (had to wait for it in the mail, got excited and germinated seeds too soon lol) and so they were in the closet until then. There has been no fan to circulate air or remove heat, and I think that's why the first set of leaves are curling a bit. Annoyingly, I have to wait for distilled water to arrive in the mail so I can calibrate my PH meter, so have not been able to ph adjust water. It has had one watering of evian water so far, so hopefully thats OK. I am using BioBizz Light Mix soil and using BioBizz nutrients. I will update which specific nutrients when I can. Take care for now, folks! *EDIT* DAY 10 UPDATE: I've uploaded a day 10 video update! So today is day 10 and I fed them their first feed yesterday. I've added the nutrient details to the diary. They seem to be LOVING it. I also noticed some pale spots on some leaves - perhaps exterior nute burn as I splashed the leaves by accident. We'll see.

Und welche Technik ist bei SoG die richtige für diese Sorte. Oder doch eher topping oder ganz in Ruhe lassen

End of Week 7 CO2 is definitely increasing growth rates but also changes the game with controlling your environment now that it has to be sealed in order to not waste CO2 unnecessarily. You change one thing and it adds many other variables to keep everything in check. I am learning everyday and that's why I grow. The trellis net is doing its job and the canopy is looking nice and even. I also added a soil top-up and top dress of some BioBloom and Mycorhizae so it can start breaking down before I flip to flower next week (Slow release dry organic amendments). And the ladies are using up nutrients in the soil much faster because of the added CO2 (another variable to take into consideration - faster growth = faster nutrient consumption) In detail: -Carefully removed trellis netting -Ammended each plant individually with my soil mixture and nutrients -Placed them back in the tent -Reinstalled trellis netting and trained the ladies to shape Pest Report: Thrips VS Ladybugs... I decided to fight fire with fire - I purchased Swirski-Mites from Koppert (They are beneficial insects that feed on the eggs and larvae of thrips and other unwanted pests). As for the adult thrips - I got very lucky and found about 10 Ladybugs in my garden and decided to introduce them into my grow room as they will feed on adult thrips and any other unwanted pests. I did not spray any insecticide this week and it really seems like the ladies are happy with my new method of bio-warfare and are wilting less and less often

Day 98 They doing fine. The slow girl is getting interesting. Her frostiness is changing suddenly and getting thicker in this two days.

Well I'll say I didn't put as much time into it as I should have but it was quite or a pretty fair grow considering it's my first time growing anything.I've learnt alot and looking forward to my second grow

This means that whatever the temperature is, the air feels like it, not 10-15 degrees hotter. My AK-47XL is short under 3 feet and has good node spacing so there is space for air flow. The buds forming don’t have many hairs yet but the trichomes forming on the sugar leaves are visible. Looking at the bud structure, the leaves are tight throughout. This may be a concern for bud rot if the rain and humidity return. I’ll keep a close watch, but so far, she is easy to grow and resistant to fungus and pests. This week the flowers are larger than the previous week. and has a stronger smell.

So flush STARTS NOW, Using 10L of De-chlorinated tap water pH 6 with flawless finish Day 162 11/10/24 Friday De-chlorinated tap water pH 6 only today again pH 6. Day 163 12/10/24 Saturday Another Flush today, using 10L de-chlorinated tap water pH 6 with flawless finish. Day 164 13/10/24 Sunday (End of week) She is starting to generate a tangy pineapple 🍍 😋. Day 35 Shes disappointed me a little with her stretch power, hopefully shes waiting to use her secret weapon a little later into flower. Also cleaned her up down the bottom as those leaves were completely in the shade. Shoot of her top of pot roots looks decent.
