Week 4 starts Sunday July 17, 2022 Plants seem really nice and healthy. I really like Flora Nova, its a great product. 300ppm and the plants love it, even though the Gaia Green is in the mix, it seems to just love this combo, ever since I repotted with the amendments in the soil, and watered with Flora Nova Bloom (mix it crazy well before using) the plants just look really happy and green. It's not an organic product, maybe like 30% organic -- just like me haha. I think by week's end we will be caught up and ready to intensify lights, threw the SF1000 in the tent finally for more light, but so far just keeping only the Phlizon white light full spectrum COBs on and the RB lights off, and not using the SF-1000 at all even though its mostly white. Despite what Phlizon says, the COBs are great during veg, the RB not so much. I like the COBs so much better than the smaller LEDs for veg. July 19, 2022 Turned on the SF-1000 to 60% and measured light, I'm happy with it. I have another strain growing next to these and the extra light will help during flower as a side light but it will most likely hit the canopy too. The growth is vigorous right now. Added pics, today is day 28 since they were dropped into water July 23, 2022 Tomorrow starts week 5, growth is super green, no funky yellow or leaf drama. Stalks are getting much thicker and stronger. Turned the lights up this week, added the 2nd COB, and temps are just fine! Who knew. Anyway, they look like they are very close to pre-flower. 🗓️ Week 8 – Flower Week 4 (MAC n Cheese only) A bit late with the update this time – busy week – but MAC n Cheese is doing great. 🌱 📏 Current height: 108 cm Stretch is definitely over, and the structure is holding strong. The most exciting part? She's starting to get frosty – trichomes are coming in nicely, and the early signs look very promising. ❄️✨ This one is shaping up to be a real standout!

Week 10 Update – Full Throttle with Advanced Nutrients 🌱 I’m now feeding 100% of the Advanced Nutrients schedule with all components. I noticed a slight calcium deficiency in the AN plants, so I’ve increased the base nutrients from 75% to 100%. Advanced Nutrients CalMag Xtra remains at 1ml/L, and it has been reliable throughout the grow with 0 EC osmosis water. BioBizz#1 – BT42 The trichome ripeness is mixed—there are both amber and clear trichomes, so it’s not quite consistent yet. CalMag issues show up occasionally, but nothing that’s throwing me off balance—she’s doing fine! 🤞 AN#4 – BT42 She’s asking for a bit more calcium here and there but continues to dominate BioBizz#1 in terms of development. EC: 2.5 pH: 6.4 Drain: pH 6.1 (EC not measurable due to organic soil). AN#3 – BT38 This plant is visually about 2 weeks behind the others. The space between her and the lamp is down to 1-2cm—a disaster, but there’s nothing I can do at this point. PPFD is off the charts (1200), but she’s handling it and developing beautiful buds. Flowering starts

The pistils stretched and formed very nicely. Plant stretched fully to 112cm. We are cutting all grow nutrients from here on in with sufficient nitrogen in the micros.

Started the flush a few days ago on this lady, she lookin frosty and smelling amazing

The thrips infection is gone but there’re still a lot of damaged leafs as you can see in the photos/videos, but the growth hasn’t slowed down which is good. Anyway after I did some research into the big bang strain I found out that the company that sells this strain recommends “flushing” for a few days every other week starting from day 16 of flowering. This is meant to speed up bud development and I think it really did something here as the buds got twice as big. But I didn’t exactly follow their recommendations as it calls for watering the plants with large amounts of water and letting the soil dry for a few days and I don’t feel comfortable with that, so I watered them every day but made sure the soil was dry.

Its been about 5 days I believe? These started to peak this morning, just barely. Finally emerged! So excited to run beleaf's genx. Wish me lux

As we round the corner on this week the finish line is starting to come into sight! Ending the week on Day 68 from seed and these girls are really starting to shine! Front left is just a crystal packed beast with golf ball sized buds (or bigger) well spaced out along the stem, more like blueberry tends to grow. Front right is showing very similar traits, while back left and right are larger more connected buds, more like Slimer tends to grow. Cool to see the two different bud structures in the same grow, fun thing with autos you know they will be close but always some differences! Buds are just plumping and firming, getting ready for their big day on another few weeks. Water intake has slowed as expected for this stage in life, 32L every four days instead of every three. Was an easy week work wise, just a light defoliation of mainly the back two plants, probably 20 or so leaves each. Back two are still seeming to be maybe a week behind front two, but they seem to be catching up fast. May have to get the second reservoir set up at the end of need to ween first two off the feed earlier than last two. Good thing is I have three full sets of AutoPots so not a problem, although I may have a problem with collecting grow gear hahaha. Can't help myself, I see stuff selling for super cheap used or clearance from stores closing and think "sure I could use another set of those". Got my last set of 15L pots in upgrade packs on clearance. Each pack came with the pot, the tray, and the 5.0 valve with all the fixings for just !!! Honestly how do you say no to that I don't know. About day 38 i am just realizing that i am stupid and been feeding the biogrow for cocoa coir 🤦‍♂️ way iver nuting with soil it says never to go over 1ml/L So i will be flushing for at least 1 or two waterings. Looking for the tip burn to stop spreading and the tips to not look like there clawing

Jan 8th - plant(s) fed last nite @ 3.5/(3.0)L - both plants laying down patches of FROST, Congo is changing the Pistil colours to a rusty orange - w/ reduced nutes and Molasses Congo tds was 970ppm. Nat Mystic @ 1100 - solved an old desire to have a lower temperature in the tent, when the lights are off. Using a pin timer and restricting the operation of the Heater during the plants nite-cycle, has brought the average temp @ nite, down to where I’d like it; 18.5-19c Jan 9th - Natural Mystic got Flushed tonight. Aiding in the flush I am using FloraKleen to help @ 5ml/gal. 20 gal total used to get run-off below 100ppm Jan 10th - new meals posted above for the kids Jan 12th - with both plants flushed, I am building a nutritional snack for their next watering; tonight or tomorrow. I’m building an Aerated Compost Tea; 1 cup Worm Castings (compost component), 1 tbsp Kelp Meal, 3 tbsp Molasses, 1 Dead banana skin and a 1/3 tsp of Power Bloom granule - tea’s E.C. has gradually grown to 305ppm over last 18 hrs - last big feed for each plant maybe - both plants display some Amber but there is still a good showing of clear trichomes, as of the 10th. Jan 14th - last day of the week - natural mystic moved to the small tent for finishing - congo remains in big tent, made more accessible for photos / feedings - each plant fed 5L of aerated compost tea.
