I backed my light up a little and let my nutes sit for longer this time. She’s improving. Think I’ll up my ph on the next watering. Trichs are starting to come in I added a dish of water to up humidity. Don’t know if it’s helping. One of the pics has a blemish. It’s from me, not spotting from deficiency. She’s looking yellow and skinny. Stems got really dark

So only after two weeks of curing these buds are becoming more and more refined! The texture of the buds is beautiful, it crumbles and grinds up effortlessly in my space case and is light, fluffy and almost “goopy” coming out of the grinder. I guess goopy is my description of ground bud that sticks together as it comes out of the grinder. It almost resembles goo or putty! That’s always a great indicator of a strain that has lots of sticky dank trichomes 😎 Now onto the high... I must admit, I was a little disappointed at first. I was initially caught off guard by how smooth the smoke went down, but usually after the first hit I feel something. After the first hit of this strain I didn’t, so I packed another bowl and sparked her up... not much different. Around 15min after my second hit I started to gradually feel a trippy/tingly full body buzz and strong head buzz come on. Once I sat down on the couch it’s like it fully kicked in and I really felt a truly euphoric full body high along with a head high that felt incredible. She’s definitely what some would call a “creeper strain”! To me though, the high is reminiscent of the first hour after ingestion of some top quality cubensis! In a nutshell the high is euphoric, energetic and crisp. I don’t feel groggy at all when I smoke this strain, I can be extremely productive with work and still articulate my thoughts with ease. I also noticed that I don’t get anxious in public and even though this strain is extremely uplifting and energetic I have zero issues getting to sleep at night. I could truly classify this strain as medicinal and I know if I was still a caregiver this would be on constant rotation! I will update more after 2.5-3.0 months cure!

6/10 - really smelling like cake these days, sweet and sticky 6/11 - fed and watered, gave about a quart of pH adjusted water with nutes, upped the bloom a bit. Also noticing leaf tip burn and photo bleaching, so I removed the stand, moving the pot to the floor.

The week was great. The roots took to the 1/4 nutes and I’m expecting beast mode soon. Stems are ok, stalks are good until you’ve gotten trunks. This ebb and flow NFT system is the way to go for me. I red something a while back about “kiss” keep it stupid simple. This setup does that and triples anything in souls I’ve ever done. My only new issue is that my humidity is quite a bit higher so I see myself investing in dehumidifiers down the road.

The first of week three

* ***************** Week 2 of Growth From Seed, April 18 to 25, 2020 - Days 8 to 14 from germination ********************** * Getting rolling on week 2. She is not growing super fast. Suspect I have gotten a little heavy handed with the nutes again a little early on. Keeping an eye though and haven’t been too far off. Switch CalMag this week and going with GH as it has a 1% value for Nitrogen. Will be increasing the CalMag now as well. Will be getting ppm in the 500 range more this week. May start to introduce Sensyzime at the end of the week. Keep moving the lights up and down trying to dial in between 18” and 30” and see how they react. Seems to be about 28” right now they are happy. Playing with the VPD and finding that they are not as happy with the VPD up around 1.0 and rather happier around 1.4??? Happier meaning tips and looking like she is getting bigger. Played with humidity this weekend as well between 52% and 75%. Again, they seem happiest around 58%..........going to try that for a couple of days and see how they grow for the next few days. I feel they are alrighty slower at the high humidity. Not backing away for this but rather trying to read the girls🤪🤪🤪🤪 *****Daily Detail: Apr 18, Day 8 - VPD - 1.1 - 0.5L feed with Vitathrive and Velokelp and Dual Fuel @ 0.75ml/L, CaMg+ @ 0.75ml/L = 575ppm, 5.8pH. - playing with humidity up and down today. - ready for a plain water feed and a little larger quantity to soak all the medium. - not sure if tomorrow though.......might be a little wet yet in the medium. Apr 19, Day 9 - VPD - 1.3 - 2L watering today with CaMg and Sensyzime @ 1ml/L each. 240ppm with 5.9pH. - Had more runoff, that was the goal. Didn't bother to measure this though. - Just trying to bring the medium pH in line and reduce some of the ppm. - Things just aren't progressing as I think they should. Apr 20, Day 10 - VPD 1.5 - dry out day - lower humidity in tent to 55% Apr 21, Day 11 - VPD 1.5 - dry out day, again. Humidity kept low. - Added home made CO2 to the tent today. - 2.5" tall only. - wavy leaves so think she has battles some pH issues.......some sensitive than the other strains currently?? Apr 22, Day 12 - VPD 1.4 - Dry out day yet again but now raising the humidity back to 65%. - tips back up today. Apr 23, Day 13 - VPD 1.4 - 0.5L - P & V & Vitathrive @ 1ml/L, DF & CalMag@ 0.5ml/L = 410ppm and 5.9pH - primarily calmag and something for roots. - She has straightened out more today. Apr 24, Day 14 - VPD 1.4 - 0.5L - Voodoo and Piranha and VeloKelp @ 2ml/L = 180ppm pH'd to 5.6 - tough week.......she battled over watering as a result of some over feeding last week.

9/10 Went and shook the plants off. I don't think it rained. I think it's just dew. Plants with ailments seem to be progressing well and it looks like they'll outrun the pathogens. It may not be a banner year yield wise but the quality will be great it looks like. GMO is stacking up real nice. The ones in further flower are swelling more and more everyday. Earwigs MAY be back because I noticed a couple of plants where I left a tiny little branch on the bottom have been lollipopped on tje sherb pie and rather quickly too. I suppose it could be leaves dieing and rotting bit I doubt it. If they are here there aren't many and most plants are too far in flower for them to bother. They eat the lower newly developing shoots. Not big dense buds. Luckily. I noticed some pm on the gmo with pm. Looks like it's time for another treatment of k bicarb. I'll probably do that tonight. I'll keep this updated. WENT BACK OVER AND DEFOLIATED A BUNCH OF STUFF. ITS TIME FOR ANOTHER APP OF K BICARB. I CHECKED THE SHERB PIE AND IT DOESNT NEED TO BE WATERED. IT WAS STILL VERY HEAVY. I'm noticing the same thing that happened a few years back. Lower secondary or tertiary branches are getting stripped on a couple plants. They never touch the developed buds they want the new shoots. If IT IS ear wigs they are impossible to fight. I put poison down and d.e. around those plantscand we'll see. It could also be rot from dying leaves. I need to treatcsome of the plants with a longer flowering time with plant doctor. I'm going over today to spend a few hours working in the garden. I'll apply something I just don't know WHAT yet. One event horizon looks like it tried to reveg AGAIN which is super weird . I just see a lot of one and 3 finger leaves. It will probably turn out to be great. The other event horizon looks like its going to be incredible. The toasted toffy is getting close too. Temps only reached 62° yesterday. It took FOREVER to shake these plants off. The sherb pie had NO flowers last week but it's exploding with really compact buds. The whole plant turned purple. I need to be careful of botrytis with this weather. I've been pretty good about leaving and removing any dead or dying leaves. Even the plant in the ten is filling out nice. I have SOMETHING (behaving like earwigs) and eating "fresh" shoots. It's like lollipopping the new growth on a couple plants. I'll becstaying at the grow from now forward so I'll go out tonight and see what I found. The poison I put down seems to be gone. Anyway I'm very grateful for what I've got. I'm update as I go. 9/13 It's sprinkling a half hour trom my grow. I think it's supposed to be nice though. I found some botrytis on two plants. Two are so close to finishing that I need to closely watch them. I don't want botrytis. I applied k bicarb to the middle gmo as I saw a spot of pm. I spent a ton of time defoliating. This cold weather has brought the fade much faster. Trichs are looking good. WENT THROUGH THE PLANTS AND DEFOLIATED A SHIT TON. APPARENTLY THIS EARLY FADE IS NORMAL THIS YEAR. Jot any big loss but if it's in the shit that doesn't matter than it's around the shit that does. Found info on event horizon flowering time. Middle of September until middle of October. That could be why I'm seeing coke cans on the bottom branches of that phenome. I've got some decisions to make. I mixed up enough water to water in the morning. I'll mix up feed in the morning. Tje garden has gotten a lot of attention lately. I hope it pays off. I'm leaning on a multi staged harvest of the event horizon amd toasted toffy but we'll 9/14 Hurries morning. Mixed water for this morning last night. WATERED AND FED EVERYTHING (BUT TOASTED TOFFY AND EVENT HORIZON #2 DUE TO THEM BEING CHOPPED SOON.) Everything got a gallon of water and a qtr of food. I had to cut a couple small interior secondary branches on my shottiest GMO due to the appearance of grey mold. I also found some botrytis in both the event horizon and toasted toffy that I plan to take the tops of today. I scoped them and I'm planning to do a staged harvest. Trichs are milky with some amber. Everything is blowing up! I'm not sure what's happening but like it previous years there's a couple plants with leaves dieing near bud sites and an overall yellow appearance. Maybe it's late stage septoria. I cant isolate it due to local laws but if I have to I'll deal with it. Nothing else had anything like that. I hace noticed SOMETHING nocturnal that can eat a small branch and leave it bare. Also eat the small newly forming shoots at the bottom of plants. I shouldve taken off ALL the larfy stuff as it draws bugs but I did things a like different with each plant this year. I'm going to go through the plants again today and I'll update what I decide. Chances are the top half of those two plants are coming down. I'll do a video. 9/15 I'll have to add pics and videos tomorrow. Last night I did a final check of the trichs on event horizon #2 and toasted toffy. Everything looked great so I proceeded to do a "wet trim" outside (ill use the leaf blower to clean up) and cut the tops off the plant. I know this injures tje plant but it also makes them go crazy thinking they are dying and the buds and trichs swell. I had one plant last year I got two harvests off and a bunch of fresh frozen for concentrates. I looked this morning and I madecthe right decision. These plants are DONE. I've got another event horizon but it's not quite there yet. I'm going to leave it as long as I can. If the injured plants pick up pm or something (already had septoria) then the flower will be used for extracts or I'll do a Cervantes wash. I imagine concentrates though. One GMO isn't doing as good as the rest. Yesterday I had to cut three branches off due to grey mold on the stalk. If laws allowed it I'd isolate that plant. Luckily since I spend so much time going through the garden I'm able to find this kind of stuff. The GMO'S look wonderful (even the one with some yellow leaves that I cut the branches off) . K bicarb has kept pm at bay so far. This strain has TONS of trichs. It's like trich on trich on trich. I can't wait to try it. It smells amazing. Sherb pie is completely purple with rock hard buds that smell amazing. It's quality over quantity this year. The big one in the 50 (I think red runtz) is swelling more everyday. I'm going to switch to ch ching soon. The plant in the 10 had TOTALLY SUPRISED ME. I've never grown a plant lime this. It started out with dark purple in the middle now buds are swelling and calyxes are EVERYWHERE! This plant is growing extremely fast! You'll see what I mean when I put the pics and the videos up. I'm not going to do the event horizon harvest until I get both plants and all of both plants. It will be a while before I finish the toasted toffy one as well. 9/16 I'm glad I took those plants. Weather is good but plants were soaked thos morning. I need to go out at night and see what is eating new shoots. Flowers are looking great. I need to do another app of k bocarb sometime. I'm suprised the pm has pretty much stayed with that one plant. That two other GMO's flanking it are doing awesome! Purple, sticky stinky. It's got the whole package. The one in the 50 has some huge flowers that won't require much longer. The one invthe 10 has some time left. This is clearly a sativa dominant hybrid. The buds are swelling like crazy. It went from NO buds to having little purple calyxes to flowers that look like cat-tails! I can't wait to see what rhis year brings. Once I get things dry and manicured I'll give you guys a look at how the first stage of the first harvest went. I'm super happy. Spent a large part of this morning shaking plants by handcand removing any dead leaves or anything that could cause rot then I went over them with a leaf blower. I'll need to water tonight I imagine. Started using a Canadian product, Hygrozyme, to ward off Root Rot and help my roots. After 24 hours PH went from 5.7 to 6.7. A bit of slime as well. Did a sterilization with H2O2, rinsed the roots, waited an hour, then re-inoculated with Hygrozyme and my Tarantula Tea. 24 hours later (today). PH is up the same but no sign of rot. RePHed and good to go. The temperatures, humidity, height, and watering volume(if measured) in grow conditions are all averaged for the week. The pH is soil pH. Any watering done by me is well water which is 7.6 pH and 50° F. Any listed nutrients are ml/gallon of soil to be spread evenly on top of the soil. Day 1 we had high temperature of 87°F with partly cloudy to cloudy skies. I watered 3-4 gallons from the hose. I added 100 ml of blood meal spread evenly across the top of the soil. Day 2 We had a high temperature of 85°F. It rained the previous night and intermittently raining and thunderstorms today. I did get these trained a little this morning. It's not finished, but I took some foliage off and opened them up by tying the branches to stakes arranged on the outside of the pots. I finished topping off these pots with soil that is premixed with nutrients. The rain is watering today. Day 3 we had a high temperature of 73°F and all day rain. The rain was what remained of hurricane Beryl. There was a lot of wind up to 20 miles per hour. These girls handled it and loved the rain. Day 4 we had clear sunny skies and a high temperature of 85°F. I fed 150 ml feather meal , 30 ml Plant Tone, and 50 ml Coop Poop. I watered 3-5 gallons from the water hose. Day 5 we had a high temperature of 86°F and partly cloudy skies. Plants #2and #3 developed powdery mildew on their lower leaves. I'm going to treat for the next 5 days with Arber organic biofungicide. I ran the fertilizer a little hot the girls are clawing and super dark green this evening Day 6 we had a high temperature of 85 with partly cloudy skies. Day 7 we had a high temperature of 86°F. This morning we had plenty of rain and wind. No need for watering. The skies were mostly cloudy to partly cloudy in the evening. This week was a success. We had lots of rain, cool nights and humidity. This caused the #2 and #3 plant to develop powdery mildew. This is the challenge here on the Ozark Plateau. We are strictly organic. We use no systemic fungicides and the only pesticide we use is occasionally is organic pyrethrin spray. That said, now that we've identified the plants that don't have immunity, we'll treat with Arber bio fungicide. This treatment will last 5 days then they have to make it with what they were born with. Also the nutrients ran a little hot on them. That and the several hours of rain depriving them of iron has their centers looking rough. They'll be better next week.

I planted two seeds, one on the ground, the second on a coconut. I want to check the difference .experiment.
