11/17 Week 8 Man I will be glad when this grow is over, if making mistakes promotes learning well... Im a fricking PHD ... Ok progress on Maggie the yellow is limited to the very top as buds are building in particular those a couple inches from the top. Thinking another root drench is in order, cant hurt and letting her dry a bit as a prep. Looks like tomorrow Layla doing ok she exhibits far fewer problems but the same issue are present she is just a hell of plant along with the Runtz which she shares the tent. Thinking about the feeding tomorrow will decide what to do then. They have plenty of time to finish up, had some issues on germination on the grow following so looks like it may be delayed a week from the scheduled 2 weeks. Maggie may need it. 11/19 Have stumbled onto to something it seems. The further I move the lights out, they are now at twice the "ideal" placement of 14" at 28" and the yellowing is disappearing to a great extent. Problem with this of course is not enough light at bud sites not on the canopy which lets face it is most of your bud. It is absolutely something that makes the plants insanely susceptible to light burn. New one for me but maybe some of yall know so making a question of it. Pics at lights out only and I missed today so new pics later if I get back in time. Update : Defoliated and tightened training on all three to spread things out from the center and open up the light and air paths. Raising the lights is working just wish I knew why as lights are higher than crap with little room for more than a few more inches. Would drop the watts to 450 but need the heat to keep the grow room level as our temps here swing 40 degrees all the time. Something I learned with the help of a carbon filter. If things normalize will begin dropping lights to see what happens. 11/20 Setting the lights at 24" as I am not risking yield any further than that on Layla and the Runtz, Have the canopy as level as it can be with Brandy getting the least light being on a coco coir block (heh) for height, which she is responding well to since I opened up the plant and no longer worried over mold issues in that main bud. Have Layla on a milk crate to bring her into decent light as well as the Runtz. She is just a lovely thing building those white crystalline buds. Maggie has turned into a beast at least I know her root ball is huge from the growth above. Seriously defoliated her removing several small lower branches and leaves blocking light and air paths. Next feed will be continuing what seems to be working, Epsom salt and bloom nuets (no calmag with epsom salt) with a foliar feed after lights out which may well be with calmag. Foliar feeding today at lights out, one quart sprayer with 1ml CaliMagic and 0.5ml wetting agent un-PH warmed to 75 F before spraying (our tap water comes out at @50F so...), just trying to hit hard and effective * New Pics after foliar Update Folks its taken 8 weeks and a final piece of the puzzle provided by Grey_wolf resulted in a near full strength cal-mag foliar feeding and the last def bites the dust. See what happens from here but its the first time I have felt good about this grow since the bad time germing at week one. *big sigh of relief* Have a whole list of things I will never do again in soil more about that at harvest. Hello Diary, Purple Lemonade has reached the end of its third week, at the same time it has completed the vegetation phase and is entering the flowering phase. This week it grew an impressive 20 cm, it got a bunch of new leaves and now it's at the stage where it looks like a small bush. Purple lemonade has slowly started to form flowers. The leaves are a nice green color and look healthy. It is really developing very nicely, which makes me super happy. The summer heat is still present which affects the temperature in the grow box, this week the average was 29 degrees although sometimes the temperature rises to over 31 degrees. But I don't notice that it is harming them, I make sure to water them regularly, so that the soil does not remain too dry although that sometimes happens. Every week, as the plants grow, I increase the amount of water when watering. I continue to add Bio Grow Fertiliser and CalMg with each watering. pH I drop to 6.0 with Plagron's Lemon Kick. At the end of the week, more precisely after taking photos for day 21, I increased the power of the led lights to 80%. Here is a quick overview of the week: 10/08/2024 - Day 17. Watering. I prepared 8 liters of water, added Bio Grow Fertilizer and CalMg and with that amount I evenly watered all three plants on the farm. 13/08/2024 - Day 20. Watering. I repeated the same procedure as the three days before. 14/08/2024 - Day 21. Photographing and measuring the height of the plants. Official end of the vegetation phase. Week 4 of flower started on 4/25. Did another moderate defoliation on the larger dark green fan leaves to open the canopy up for more light. Hoping to get bigger buds this go round.

Mr. Pipi defoliated a bit after the topdress last week. just some old leafs here and there, not much. And Frost is building up, terps are coming. Mr.Pipi is happy :) AND the colors BOI oh BOI. thats what Mr.Pipi dreamt of. Day 46: Heights : Frank 47cm , Pedro 44cm and Lance 34cm.

Ok the branches on this one were barely able to support the buds, while a good thing to have heavy buds give this Si from early veg to late flower to keep em strong. Lot of leaves but not a pain smells great but can be a little funky at times right after lights on.

Hey yall! Another week down. A lot has happened. To start, we up-potted from the red solos into my living soil blend that I have been working on for almost a year. It's so full on living creatures and beneficials. I used to have fungus gnats a lot when working with living soil, it's almost impossible to avoid. .. Then enters beneficials; we have black soldier Flys, persimillis predatory mites, definitely earth worms, most likely a mix of night crawlers. No more fungus gnats, I highly recommend using beneficial nematodes, cucumeris and persimillis predatory mites are excellent (swirski predatory mites are expensive). Just look at the Soil Food Web and identify what pest you have, then purchase their predators from a trusted insectary. Anyways I added another 200watt LED and spread out the plants in a 2' X 4' tent. It's extremely dry in my location and having the heat on makes the air even drier. So getting my VPD stable has been an immense challenge. Right now Also we need to be able to add VPD or at least GD needs a built in calculator to help folks with VPD, Vapor Pressure Deficite. As of right now I am sitting at 0.85 VPD, so pretty good for today. I have 4 humidifiers and have had to hang moistened towels on the doors of the room I am growing in. It literally has been a huge challenge to keep the humidity high enough for my VPD to be in range for the young plants I have now. Good thing is my current humidity without running any humidifiers is perfect for the flowering stage, so I can't wait to move this along. As for topping and training; like I said I really want to move these ladies into flowering sooner than later. I have several reasons to do limited training so I can limit my veg time, also getting this crop done as fast as possible is best for my set up. Until I can get a larger house 🏠 😩 because we got a baby on the way 👶 so need to make space. I have made compost tea twice this past week, wetting the soil and also spraying the leaves. My sprayer broke so I ended up pouring the tea on the plants gently, I got worm castings on the leaves lol. Gently rubbing that off once they dried. Also I applied the tea at night. My tea recipe: Reverse Osmosis water, 2 to 4 gallons I bubble that with added minerals for a day Add 2-3 cups of Activated worm castings (To activate the castings I added about 3 gallons of high quality castings with what I consider to be nutrient amendments, SO I add = kelp meal, neem cake, organic coconut flour, organic corn meal, organic wheat flour, and organic cold milled flax seeds and let that sit for a week then add about 2 to 3 cups of that mix to the tea) I also add biology from about a cup of 2 different soil mixes I have around my compost bin, just trying to get a more diverse biology by adding those two different soil sources. And mind you the grow beds I took the soil from has been organic for many years and has a large amount of beneficials and tons of excellent biology. Other than that I bubble that for 12 to 24 hours, with as much air as I can get. I use air stones but you really need to clean them off once you are done brewing. I also have an Air Lift with a large air pump that really works great, K.I.S. Organics sells one that works great or you can build one easily with with PVC pipe and a few adapters from any Home Depot or Lowes. Also I do add DynoMyco to my roots when up-potting. They are an amazing brand that has backed up research, I think they have more propagules per gram of two strains they identified to work great with cannabis. Now having said that, each individual phenotype out of each individual and specific strain/cultivar is going to have different bacteria/fungal strains that it prefers and by growing the same strain, hopefully the same exact cut, and grow 3 to 4 cycles before you truly have the mycelium networks built and fully functional. What I am saying is stop throwing out "used" soil and go over 7 gallons, bigger the better for biodiversity. Stop buying "new" soil, amend your previous beds and pots. You will see a huge difference. Hopefully I can show you all of this with my Grow. Anyways please feel free to ask away any questions! This grow is about saving money 💰 🤑 and growing the best clean medicine as possible.

6.4.25: FastBuds Mystery Seed #1: She has been topped twice and is looking pretty strong 💪 She has grown vertically, and leaves are always praying. Possibly too much light, so I have turned the dimmer down to about 90%. There are slight bleached tips on a couple of top leaves. I'm hoping to do the same LST with garden wire here very soon. Overall, the plant has nice big, fat leaves. Seemingly lush colour and vigorously growing since the double toppings. Very nice plant so far. 👌 13.4.25: This week has been so busy in the garden! I forgot to take any notes, so I'll see what I can do from memory! 😅 14.4.25: I have been super busy with all the other harvests in the past several days, so this is a little late. FastBuds Mystery seed #1 has been topped twice and the growth has been thick and lush. I watered several times this week, and I used Ecothrive Biosys with dechlorinated water PH'd to 6.4. I watered about 2 litres to each plant. I have been using wire, clips, and Bio stretch fabric plant ties to LST the plant. The plant has reached the 8 Gallon pot perimeter. The plant is in the first week of flower. I'm hoping to keep the canopy even with my RQS Northern Lights grow as I need to be able to compare the plants accurately for the experiments. I did snap off a branch, again the day after I said I'd be very careful 😖 The plant is very resilient though, and you wouldn't know anything happened at all, minus one of the first tops is missing. Thankfully I topped twice, so I still have 5 tops. Training Techniques used this week are LST and defoliation. I watered on 13th and 14th with the following solution; 4 litres of dechlorinated water PH'd to 6.4 which contained: ♡ 8 ml Xpert Nutrients Cal-Mag amino acids ♡ 1/2 Teaspoon Mega Crop Part A by Greenleaf Nutrients. PPM: 1000. 2 litres were given on two consecutive days. I watered in a top dress, which I will add what I used here, but it was another mess up, I'm sure you'll be surprised to hear 😅 Top dress: 4 gallons containing approximately: 50% Canna Terra Mix soil 25% Worm Castings 23% Perlite 2% Organic Dry Amendments, which were; ☆ Ecothrive Life Cycle ☆ Ecothrive Charge ☆ Diatomaceous Earth ☆ Ground Cinnamon ☆ RHS Mycorrhizal Fungi granules I used the top dress amount for established plants for a pot size of 30L / 8 Gallons. I'm not keen on the soil. I was supposed to get Canna Coco but I got sent Canna Terra in error. It was overdue for a top dress and I had nothing else to use. I don't like it in comparison. 390g dry weight out of 2 plants in a 0.8m2, i'm happy with the results. Powerfulll Strain with 25% THC, i've tried uncured and already packs a punch. Very delightfull with both of phenos ! Recomend ! I will upload more photos after 2/3 weeks of curing

Que pasa familia, vamos a añadir la cuarta semana de vida de estas Apple Fritter de RoyalQueenSeeds, empezamos con la temperatura que la tenemos entre los 21/24 grados, la humedad está entorno al 60%, el ph está en 6.2 , el foco actualmente lo tengo encendido 18 horas y la potencia es al 50% de lo que da el foco. También añado la gama de nutrientes de Agrobeta, que no falla, sin duda de la mejor alimentación que hay para tus plantas. Trasplantamos a macetas definitivas, 7 litros en este caso, también se ven bien verdes ya recuperaron la carencia de nitrógeno. Veremos estas próximas semanas como avanzan y se comportan. Bueno, así terminamos la fase de vegetación. Cometimos algunos errores, aunque se pudo solucionar. Cada día aprendiendo mucho y mejorando para que esta nueva etapa sea muy frutuosa. Muy feliz con lo logrado y cómo se ven las bebés hasta ahora. Próxima semana, floración. Vamos con toda en esta siguiente etapa con mucha emoción de ver cómo se estiran y salen sus pistilos, nos vemos la próxima semana con lo que será la primera semana de flora en estas bebés
